Athe shrugged at Teresa's comment. Sure, he did have his hands full with the Buffamoo and the Buffalo in the barn, but he didn't mind. He liked being with kind monsters, even if they got hungry and ate his bed at times. Besides, monsters needed some company other than themselves too.
"Alright." he agreed to Teresa's alternate suggestion. He supposed it would be more useful. A dirty house could stay that way for a few days without too much trouble. A house empty of food... well in the Delaine household, that was as tragic as an earthquake destroying the village.
Out of the corner of his eye, Athe spotted another suspicious look from Samuel. He had gotten enough of those to not worry about it now. So, disregarding the look, Athe took another fish dumpling and ate it in one bite.
