~ Stan Grimes

Profession: Blacksmith
What am I like?
Physical Description: Edna's long vanilla blonde hair is usually tied up into a tight ponytail - it's not very practical to have long hair when you spend most of the day hunched over a bunch of scalding hot metal but she couldn't stand the thought of cutting it. Her bright red eyes were always as large as plates and gleamed with a overwhelming curiosity for the world around.
At only 4'10, she has to lift armor much larger then her on a daily basis, and it shows in her toned and athletic frame. Her skin is always lightly tanned, even long into the cold winter months. On her forehead, she has a lilac triangle that starts from her scalp and ends at her brow.
Most days, Edna is seen sporting dirty overalls and a pair of clunky brown work boots. She doesn't worry much about fashion, and doesn't think twice about stopping in the general store covered in ash after a long morning spent in the forge. For her, practicality comes before anything else when it comes to clothing. However, she does own a small collection of pretty clothing she reserves for special events.
Personality: If you can't find Edna at her forge, you will know to head to the bar. As a child, she was very mischievous and playful, and not much as changed since. There is nothing she loves more then a cold drink at the end of the day spent with good company, especially if she can play play her guitar. She lives for strange stories and good jokes. However, despite her love of people she is often a very private person and spend a lot of time alone working on her own personal projects in the forge.

Where am I from?
History: From a young age, Edna knew she would carry on the family trade of forging armor. Her father, Laise, was a respected blacksmith in a small mining town in the north. His specialty was intricate designs that took many days and a careful eye for detail, and he was well-known among the neighboring lands for also being a very warm and hilarious man. It was him who let her help out in the forge instead of working in the fields with her mother and siblings and through that she soon developed the same appreciation for beautiful armor that had gotten her father so far in their little community.
She loved the violent clanging from her hammer hitting metal and the heat burning her face. It was a very powerful and satisfying feeling. Being a creative girl, it wasn't long until she learned that she could weld new shapes out of the metal, and soon she started making cumbersome sculptures. She discovered her passion in life, and although her fellow villagers didn't appreciate her sculptures the way she did, many travelers that passed through did. She was beginning to taste a world outside of her sheltered village life.
When she turned 17, she followed her big brother Angus on a long trip to deliver a custom designed shield. It was then that she learned to love traveling, and she spent the next few years visiting as many places as she could. It wasn't that uncommon for younger people in the village to move out for a bit and experience the world before coming back to settle down, and her parents were easily persuaded when she told them she was going to try and sell her talents in other towns. After taking random odd jobs in towns all over the land, it wasn't long until she landed in Kamille Village.
What do I look for in a person?
Friendship: While Edna doesn't go out of her way to talk to people, she is an incredibly friendly person and will talk to anybody. However, she doesn't tend to have very many personal friends, and keeps her private life to herself. She likes people who have their own interesting stories to tell. She likes unusual people and can overlook certain character flaws as long as they are fun to be around.
Romance: Edna is completely clueless when it comes to the way of romance. While it would be a lie to say she's never thought about meeting somebody, she gets flustered in romantic situations and tries to avoid them. However, she can't help but be mesmerized by well-traveled and unconventional people.
