well i finally got the km-rc 8 cell version. what a nice upgrade :-)

Here's a small pros and cons about it:

PROS

-Lighter
-Less flex
-Simple setup and easy to get into (stock inferno you have to take everything apart)
-Top notch steering
-Material build
-Easy clutch adjustment (don't miss the center diff adjustment)
-Easy to build
-Fast

CONS

-Instructions...after building the whole thing, i had to extra parts (underplate bars to raise the clutch unit...I tried to remove the screws from loctite and now the screws are stripped)
-Parts (wth was kmrc thinking when they didn't include longer 2.6 screws)
Screws on this thing should also be titanium/stronger
-The graphite battery holders measurement are too tight for a nimh 8 pack. I added a couple of washers and used longer 2.6 flatheads (same size as motor mounting screws)
-Missing tab in gear boxes when diffs are place in reversed may cause diff issues
-No servo saver (i bought the xray)
-No suggestive setups
-A lot of metal to metal contact which requires more loctite

Overall, I'm very pleased. Very nice design but I think KMRC was cutting corners trying to add a 70t spur without updating the instructions and screws.
