Promoting the Board, Any ideas?

I think this board was a great idea, but unfortunately, there aren't many members (yet...). So i think we should try to make as many people as possible join us. now Lou and i already have the url in our sigs at Just Jack, but we gotta do more than that, i think. so who has any ideas what we could do?

Well, I'm not sure how it works, but couldn't you get an ad in google.com or something? You know, the little bits at the side when you search for something. Not sure how to do that, but it's just an idea! Also, you can put some more pictures here, and when someone searches for pictures of Johnny Depp, one of the pictures could turn up in the search results and when they go to see the original source, it would come here. I'm not an expert on it, but it could work!
Also, in all other forums we are a part of, put a link in the signature if you're allowed to.

those are great ideas! i dunno how we're supposed to do that google-thing though. do you contact those people so you can get ads? but that's got to cost some money, i think. so i dunno...

I think it does cost money, but not too much. Maybe you can ask for voluntary donations here, just for the promotion of the board. I don't know if that's allowed, but it's an idea.

Also, I haven't got anything to make banners with, and I can't afford to buy one! So I'm afraid I can't make any. Sorry about that.

I think that's a very good idea, though I'm not the person who tries to 'squeeze' money out of you all because I want to advertise my board.
I think everyone can think of a better idea of spenind their money :lol:
