Hoping to get a nice chunk of it done tomorrow - a rare mid-week day off for me. If you've got tournament matches on this show, I'd strongly consider having your stuff in by morning.

Hey, that's a good thing. As a handler who's had his material missed in the fedhead's inbox and jobbed because of it I appreciate a heads up. I mean ... what if there are technical difficulties? Continuing my RANDOM THOUGHT posting...
With the way that the AWA has been built and presented to date, could a character along the lines of Hulk Hogan in the mid-late 80s be successful? The crazy, over the top promos mixed with matches where he uses the Hogan style - no movez, just punches, kicks, clotheslines, slams, and a Legdrop-esque finish. I await someone trying to draw that comparison to Vasquez for the latter part. |

I am not sure it would make a good read. Hogan was over because of longevity. Same goes for a lot of the "old school" e-w guys still going who don't necessarily have big movesets. But let's also remember, alot of the e-w big guys cut their teeth in hardcore matches.
Hogan got over on selling and body language. That doesn't really cross over onto text. |

Vasquez's moveset has consisted of a senton, a punch, and a thumb to the throat for over a year now.
