I can't even imagine how shitty weekly FS cards would have to be to get out anywhere near on time. I'd likely just switch to TNM simming.
But since the real world is using my ideas, here are some thoughts I might steal for Fighting Spirit. 1 - Next year's Continental Cup will switch to a women's tournament, so I can use the tag line "Twenty Girls, One Cup." 2 - A long-running storyline where someone has ratted out FS management for violating several rulings of the state Athletic Commissions on its tour. The pay-off is that, after a long investigation, Paul Esposito finds out it was the Visconte who did it, so he confronts him by grabbing both cheeks, kissing him in public, and saying "I know it was you, Nico, and you broke my heart. You broke my heart." 3 - King Vile's is determined to be an actual king, and the show shifts focus to several factions battling for control of the Canvas Throne. 4 - Everyone gets their own reality show! Picture Twinkletoes Tiwilliger running a fat camp to help people get slim and trim like he is! Adrian Cuisine berating wanna-be amateur chefs for their poor knife skills! Jakob Aitkins as the star of "Who Wants to Date a Thousandaire?"! Till Bromme and Johann Wanz running the talent show "Austrian Idol"! You know you'd watch at least a couple of those. 5 - The Wrestling Dead! Half the roster are turned into zombies... how will the other half cope? Can Ryan Martinez ascend to the leadership role everyone needs him to fill? How will he deal with hotheaded loose cannon Player 2? And can they all get along on old man Hans von Tripp's farm? |
