Old Engelstad Arena Grand Forks, ND March 15th, 2012 Chael "The Nuke" Nyx vs Johnny Gonzales Johnny came straight at Nyx, sticking and moving with a series of leg kicks, staggering the brute, Gonzales springboards off the middle rope with a cross body block getting a two count. Another quick inside was kicked out of almost instantly. Gonzales connects with a standing dropkick, Nyx was rocked but didn't go down, Johnny charges into the ropes and is taken over with a tilt a whirl backbreaker! Nyx took Johnny over with a Half Nelson Suplex and covered for the two count. Starting to come back, Johnny connecting with a standing enzuguri, Johnny tired to rush away but was grabbed by the hair and pulled back into a European Uppercut to the back of the head! With Gonzales rocked, Chael hoisted him up for the Assault Driver and getting the one, two, three. Winner: Chael Nyx D.C. Peterson vs "Black Jesus" Ryan Faith Ryan Faith and Peterson locked up, Faith taking him over with a quick arm drag take down! Peterson stands back up into a dropkick to the face, Faith covering him and getting a 1 count. Faith whips Peterson into the ropes and runs in with a monkey flip, D.C. grabs the ropes and sends Faith falling backwards. Ryan starts to stand back up and takes a running knee to the face. D.C. get a 2 count, grabbing the arm of Faith, Peterson plants him with a hammerlock slam and tries to secure a submission with a reverse arm bar. Faith refused to tap and eventually worked his way to the ropes. Faith was lifted up to the top turnbuckle, Peterson began to climb up after him, looking for a superplex, D.C.'s face was raked and he was shoved backwards off the top. Faith dove off the top with a 630 senton! Peterson kicks out at the last second, Faith lifting D.C. up and connecting with the Black Death Driver for the win. Winner: Ryan Faith Jasper Locke vs "Dirty" Danny Jones The beginning of the match was muddled with Jasper Locke's lawyer trying to get an injunction to have the match thrown out as Danny Jones violated the terms of Locke's contract. Enough was enough and Dirty Danny leveled the lawyer with a clothesline! With the crowd roaring in approval, Jasper Locke quickly rolled Jones up from behind and grabbed a handful of tights getting a 3 count and running from the ring. Locke quickly dousing his hands and arms in disinfectant following the roll up. Dirty Dan looked around in shock, feeling screwed out of the match, he hoisted the lawyer into the air and locked in a cobra clutch. The Dirt Nap left the attorney motionless in the middle of the ring, Danny blowing a snot rocket down on the man and playing to the crowd while Locke looked on almost physically ill. Winner: Jasper Locke MASTER'S TITLE MATCH! "One Man Dynasty" Drake Dresden vs Leviticus Caine He was no stranger to being outweighed by this much, Drake Dresden ducked underneath a haymaker from Caine as he entered the ring. Shooting in for a single leg takedown, Caine was able to keep his balance surprisingly well. Drake caught several heavy elbows to the back of the head and neck, Caine lifting him up and throwing him through the air into the corner. Charging in with an avalanche, Drake spins out of the way and rolls him up for a two count. Drake jumps up to the middle turnbuckle quickly, Leviticus gets back to his feet with his back to Dresden. Drake jumps onto his back and locking in a rear naked choke, Caine throws all his weight backwards crushing Dresden against the buckles. Drake grimaces in pain, turning around Caine grabs him by the throat and plants him with a choke slam. Stepping on his chest for the pin, Dresden was able to kick out at two. Caine begins to hammer away at Dresden's skull with a series of rights, pulling him back up to his feet, Caine hoisted him up for the Black Hills Bomb, Dresden slipping off Caine's shoulders and taking him over with a sunset flip. Getting a two count, Dresden got back up quickly and ducks a running boot to the face! Caine's leg getting caught up on the top rope, Drake caught him with a dropkick to the leg! Leviticus hit the mat, Dresden hops to the top rope and catches Caine standing with the Genetic Gold Mine and getting the 3 count to retain the Master's title. Winner: Drake Dresden "The Locker Room Leader" Marty Donovan vs "The Wolf" Jon Walker Jon Walker and Marty Donovan locked up in the middle of the ring, Walker pulling Donovan into a side headlock. Being shoved across the ring, Donovan leap frogs Walker, Jon puts on the break and sticks Donovan with a rapid series of lefts and rights! Donovan falls backwards and rolls out of the ring, Walker following up with a baseball slide into Marty as he tries to get back up. Steve Bishop circles towards Jon but is cut off by the official. Donovan grabs the front of Walker's tights and pulls him down into the ring steps face first. Rolling him in the ring, Marty gets a 2 count, Donovan applies the pressure with a rear chin lock and pressures down to the mat. The crowd started to get behind Walker to rally him back into the match. Fighting back up to his feet and connecting with several back elbows to the stomach, Walker breaks free and plants Marty with a DDT. Getting a 2 count, Walker whips Donovan into the ropes and catches him on the rebound with a running lariat. Walker climbed to the top and came off with a missile dropkick that missed the mark. Marty whipped Walker into the ropes and connects with the Spring Heeled Jim! Leaning back in the High Angled Boston Crab, Walker tried to hold on but had no choice but to tap out! Winner: Marty Donovan MAIN EVENT! New York's Finest vs Heel Tactics The crowd erupted to their feet expecting to see the version of New York's Finest that they last remembered ruling the IGA Tag Team Scene. However, Tek 9 was still incarcerated and Chance Fortuna had not signed with the IGA. Instead NYF's hanger-on, Conrad Chase arrived with a new partner, "Untouchable" Angelo Vesper. The former GWW World Champion, TV Champion and Tag Team Champion as well as ACW Heavyweight Champion brought many of the fans to their feet, but they were all in boos. Vesper opened up the match quickly with Loman, sending several snap kicks into Lucas' thigh. Loman went down to the mat and at a basement dropkick to the side of the head. Vesper locked in a front chancery on the mat and drove his knee into the top of Lucas' head over and over before flipping him for a two count. Tagging on Chase, Conrad drove Lucas into the corner and began driving several shoulders into his midsection. Trying to whip him into the ropes, Loman reversed it and Dando kicked Chase in the back, stumbling forward, Loman leveled him with a flying back elbow. Tagging Dando into the match, Devin grabbed Chase by the hair and threw him backwards down to the mat before just stomping away on him. Nakamura began to warn, Dando shaking his head he did nothing wrong. Conrad stood back up and caught a poke to the eye. Dando spun him around and connected with a German Suplex. Vesper jumped over the top rope and kicked Devin square in the ribs breaking the pin fall. Conrad tagged Angelo back into the match, Vesper ducking into the ring and stopping Devin before he could make the tag. Hooking his arm in a hammerlock and a half nelson, Angelo took him over with a suplex! Getting a two count, thanks to Lucas making the save. Chase and Vesper worked Dando over for awhile, the crowd getting behind him with the help of Shar. Angelo lifted him up for a Ki Krusher, Devin slipping free and landing on his feet behind him diving to take in Loman. Angelo turn around and ran into a springboard clothesline from Loman! Conrad rushed at Lucas, Loman ducking down and back dropping him into the middle of the ring. the 'New' New York's Finest get back up to their feet. Loman connecting with a dropkick to both men! Vesper rolls out of the ring to the floor, Shar climbing up on the apron to distract the ref. Dando hoisted Chase up with an atomic drop and brought him straight down to the mat, rolling him backwards and pulling his legs spread eagle, Loman comes off with a jackknife elbow drop to the groin! The Circumciser left Chase in a world of pain, Loman covering him for a 2 count before Vesper dove in to make the save. Dando charged at Vesper who side stepped him and sent him over the top rope to the floor. Loman sent Chase into the ropes, Conrad stuffing him with a kick to the face knocking him upright. Vesper caught him from behind with a Standing Rear Naked choke! Leaning backwards way back and arching Vesper off the canvas, Loman's arms began to flail from the Garrotte! Dando climbed back up to the apron, Chase charges at him with a running knee to the head knocking him off the apron and into the railling! Loman had no choice but to tap out! Vesper letting go of him, Loman falling to the mat trying to catch his breath. Winners: New York's Finest |
