Happened to catch "We Are The World" on the radio today, still the greatest of the superstar charity song genre (though "Sending Our Love Down The Well]" remains a close second), and thought to myself:
1. They don't do enough of those kinds of things anymore. 2. This would make a great time wasting draft! So I just wanted to gauge any interest in participating. The rules: 1. Select 20 singers to participate in your charity benefit song, via snake draft, order determined by a random draw supervised by the law firm of Dewey Cheatum and Howe. 2. You can select any singer throughout history, dead or alive. Once selected, nobody else may select that singer for their superband. 3. For extra credit, name your band and the charity they will sing for. 4. For super duper extra credit, write a song for your merry troupe to sing! Any takers? |
