Your Name: Ridzal
Your E-mail Address: AIM/MSN: Fed Experience (Meaning, which feds have you used this character in before, if any): No previous fed experience. Fed Experience (your own characters you've handled, etc.): 6-7 years, on and off, El Savaje and Harley Quinn being my main two characters. Handled Harley Quinn mainly in Atlantic Coast Wrestling (c2000) and, between 2001 and 2003, in the DarkSide/DeepSouth Wrestling Federation. Most recently, both characters were part of the OMG!W roster and part of a tag team, Jokers Wild, in Phoenix Valley Wrestling. Currently handling MAMMOTH Mizusawa in the American Wrestling Alliance and Engel Übelmacht in International Pro-Wrestling. Will you write?: Maybe, if work allows. - WRESTLER INFORMATION- Name: “American Mastodon” Glenn Oz Height: 6' 3" Weight: 360 pounds Birthdate: 2/24/1985 Hometown: Los Angeles, CA Theme Music: “Lesson Learned” by Alice in Chains Ring Entrance: [Alice in Chains’s “Lesson Learned” starts to play over the arena speakers. The “American Mastodon” emerges from the entranceway, dressed to compete in a black singlet, with the image of a mastodon on the front. He is followed by the bespectacled, dark-suited Louis Matsui, who pats his charge on the back, while running his mouth and pointing to the ring. Without much fanfare, Glenn Oz begins striding towards the ring.] # JUST ANOTHER LESSON LEARNED # # WEAR A SCAR, A BORE REPEATING # # TAKE A SIMPLE FATEFUL TURN # # OPENED UP TO STOP THE BLEEDING # [As Oz comes down the aisle, he has his eyes locked on the ring, ignoring the fans on either side of him. Matsui, on the other hand, cannot help but direct a few choice words at the more vocal members of the crowd.] RA: Hailing from Los Angeles, California and weighing in at 360 pounds, he is the “AMERICAN MASTODON” GLENN OZ!!! [The “American Mastodon” steps onto the ring apron and through the middle and top ropes into the ring. Louis Matsui climbs the ring steps and follows his charge into the ring where, as the music starts to fade, he provides Oz with some final instructions before the start of the match.] Alignment and Personality: Heel. A monster in the ring, the “American Mastodon” is a man of few words outside of it. Confident of his ability, he prefers to let his actions speak for him. Description: Glenn Oz is a thickly-built man with tanned skin, brown eyes and brown, crew-cut hair. He is clean-shaven and has no visible tattoos or piercings. In the ring, Oz wears a black singlet, with an image of a mastodon across the front, black knee pads and a pair of black boots. Fighting Style: Technical powerhouse Maneuvers in Repetoire: 1) Back breaker drop 2) Elbow smash 3) Gutbuster drop 4) Headbutt 5) Neck breaker 6) Powerslam 7) Shoulder tackle 8) Fallaway slam 9) Press slam 10) Crucifix armbar 11) Wakigatame armbar 12) Bear hug 13) Throat slam suplex (Uranage) 2-5 Signature Moves: 1) Prehistoric Plunge brainbuster suplex 2) Bronto Breaker Canadian back breaker rack shoulder breaker 3) Suplex powerslam (Jackhammer) 4) Powerbomb 5) Inverted shoulder (Canadian back breaker) back breaker rack Primary Finisher and description: Extinction-Level Event (E.L.E.) Canadian back breaker rack powerbomb (Thunder Fire Powerbomb). The “American Mastodon” lifts the opponent onto his shoulder, with the opponent’s back held over Oz’s shoulder. He locks his arms around the opponent’s torso and drops to knee, slamming the opponent back-first to the mat. Set-up Move for Finisher: Usually preceded by the “American Mastodon” wearing out the opponent in the Canadian back breaker rack. Your wrestler is most like what real wrestler? Scott Norton Three Strengths (Be as descriptive as you can): 1) The “American Mastodon” has great strength, which allows him to physically dominate many of his opponents. 2) He is tough, can handle himself in a brawl and take a beating, often shrugging off his opponent’s strikes. 3) Louis Matsui is, at best, an annoyance at ringside and, at worst, will not hesitate to insert himself in a match to allow his charge to steal the advantage. Three Weaknesses (Be as descriptive as you can): 1) Glenn Oz is not the quickest on his feet and faster, more agile opponents can avoid his offense while using hit-and-run tactics to wear him down. 2) Carrying the extra bulk of muscle takes its toll on his conditioning and he prefers a quick victory to a long, drawn out match. 3) Oz is not the brightest wrestler in the sport, and prefers a more direct offense. If it were not for Louis Matsui calling the shots, and Matsui cannot be directing him move-for-move, it does not take much to outsmart the big man. |

I was gonna go all "American Freebear, lol" upon reading this app, but the more I look at it and especially upon looking at the "prehistoric powers" deal, the more I see a straight knock-off of Mammothman.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mammothman The wiki page gives precious little, but I will tell you that Mammothman is a prehistoric superman found encased in ice whose power was found by the big bad guy from Kinnikuman and is basically the Dragon for the final arc. And why is an American using a Canadian backbreaker for a finish, huh? |

Yes, why is that? That's sooo ridiculous! Quite unlike the ninja multiplication technique. Your input has improved the fate of our universe by pretty much 0.001%. Thanks for playing, here's the Handler of the Year Award for Best Characters in the History of EVER for you. |

When I make a character that don't work, it's because it's soooooooo outrageous, it can't be accepted by the current community. When you make a character that don't work, it's because it's too close to something that already exists, or dovetails something you already made, or just has this sore spot that's at odds with the rest of what is described.
Still sore I made fun of the Quinn family back in Demola's old fed? Dare to dream, sunshine warrior. |

No, when you make a character that doesn't work, it's because you refuse to take criticism and it ends up as a piece of shit.

Mr. Brown's gimmick would have worked if his angles hand't been flushed by management. -------------------- Have I told you how much I loathe your continued existence today?

Can "Coprocide" be one of his signature moves? With a move like that, you know he'd get a big push! -------------------- |

Mr. Brown needs a big push to get out of that tight spot he's in.

But if he has a lot of moral fibre, he'll get a big pop coming out of the ring. -------------------- |

I'd have no problem with you calling the character a knockoff... Had you actually gotten it right. Who cares about some manga character when I've got enough material ripping of Scott Norton? Or an homage, as they call it in the AWA (a fed where this character has a better chance of working than the American Freebear ever will).
Yes, because clearly an American wrestler using any move that is conveniently referred to as Canadian/non-American something-or-other is so out-of-this-world unbelievable. Somebody ring Brian Danielson up and tell him the American Dragon should only be using American-inspired/originated/innovated moves!
Yes, because clearly what I care about was what you, Mr. Handler of the Century, thought of the character, instead of, say, feuds against the likes of Devin Demola and Kill Army, handled by people for whom I have at least a modicum of respect. As far as I'm concerned, having had one of my characters job to a shootfighting Soviet vampire in OMG!W is about as close as I'll get to Wrestlecrap and I don't have to worry any more about working with crap handlers such as yourself. |

Ummm... back on topic. I like the concept of the 'American Mastadon' and he would probably work in the AWA very well. I dunno about his name though... Glen Oz just doesn't seem catchy enough for a big, nasty wrecking machine.
But IMO the character has potential, especially if he was 'pushed' right. Mr. Brown would also work if 'pushed' right. sorry |

Glenn Oz was just something I pulled out of a random name generator. Would have just had the character go by American Mastodon, if having a "real" name wasn't required. I'm already handling two characters in the AWA, but if Blue ever felt like having a Colossal Connection/Twin Towers tag team... Although the division is STACKED right now. I enjoyed the Mr. Brown conversation; much more entertaining than any crap Neige13 could have come up with. |
