So, taking the idea from Jesse handler of Rally Jackson, I'm gonna start a fantasy MMA league here. I'm be scoring a little bit differently than he does I think, but the idea is pretty much the same...
Sign up, draft 8-10 fighters and get points based on how well they perform over the next year. I'm only gonna use UFC fights, not as a slight to other organizations, but because it's a solid baseline for points. I can easily say that being on a fight night or TUF finale is worth slightly less than being on PPV, but how do I rank a fight in Japan without knowing their level of distribution and what not? I'd be very open to adding WEC though, if enough people are interested. I figure UFC 97 is April 18th, we could draft starting the night after and go from there. I'll figure out and post the points once I see if anyone even wants in on this. -Mike -------------------- |

How would this thing run? Just a draft and then there some sort of fantasy league ala fantasy football?

Looks like we've got at least 6, so I'll work on a point scale, get a sign up list and plan for draft on April 19th. We'll do a random draft order and use snake draft style.

WEC: No. The fighters there aren't as established and well known, except a few exceptions.
