Just your opinions on which characters were the putrid of the putird... that could mean the worst abominations ever created, the most obnoxios, the most overpushed, etc.

Hopper/Gorilla/Cage were all three pretty bad...especially Cage.

I think a favorite of the IIWF era handlers would be Jimmy "The Meatman" Steele, who is no stranger to e-wrestlecrap.
UWF's worst written characters would arguably have to be Raekwon, Shaolin & Camouflage Chameleon, The New World Disasters (nWd). I know the quality of writing back then isn't what it is now, but it's still just plain awful. Rock Ramon and The Darksider. I forget who handled these two. Chris something. Anyway, it wasn't the quality of writing that was bad, because they were fairly well written for the time. It's just that they were direct copies of Razor Ramon and The Undertaker (Right down to Ramon using "Calling All Cubans" as music). Hrrmm... Some other names that come to mind... "Officer" Mark Durman, Ace Malone, "Nuclear" John Bomber... These are all early characters mind you. None of these are very recent, but I think that is a compliment to today's roster. |
