Welcome back folks to Rocking the Review with Rudy Jones! I'm Rudy Jones and I'm back. For the last month I've been taking care of some family issues, but that's all cleared up now and I can get to work. I'm your number one guy for a personal look at the hottest wrestling shows today as I fly from city to city reviewing shows LIVE as they happen!
Let's go back seven days ago to the Key Arena in Seattle, Washington. I marked out when I got this assignment because I was going to see the Fan's Wrestling Organization for the first time in years. I was sure that I was going to enjoy watching reAction getting taped. We didn't get a dark match as right on time, 'Indestructible' by Disturbed hit the sound system and we where treated to Alex Creed coming out. It seems in Seattle people weren't really getting into him, but I'm a long time fan so it was awesome with Alex opening the show. Alex cut a short promo and then was interupted by the Internet Champion Keith Scott Zimmerman. Right away Alex Creed challenged him for the title. After some back and forward the match was set and the fans where finally behind Alex Creed as a huge 'MECCA' chant began. We got a few minutes of nothing really. I imagine it was either for a short commerical break or for a backstage segment treated to the fans at home. I took this time to grab some penuts from the vendor going through the stands. Finally, the lights dimmed and it looked like we where about to get a match. KATSURO and Dusk both made their way to the ring. Right as the match began, KATSURO was on top of his game being a good heel. He busted Dusk mouth and we got blood in the first few seconds of the match. We had a little back and forward followed by a failed pin by KATSURO. However, a few moments later KATSURO hit the mat and Dusk covered him for the pin. Short, but good match, the entertainment value was there. 4 out of 5 Steel Chairs. A few moments after the match on the big screen we where treated to a Killjoy promo. The fans really got into it, especially when Deacon appeared right before the segment ended. Next up was a tag handicap match with Karina Wolfenden & Alias taking on Jeff Garvin & Chris Chambers. The match was a lot better then I thought it would be as we got a lot of near falls. The tag team used the tag option often. However in the end, Vox Nihili got the pinfall. Not too bad of a match, and a little longer then the first but it could have been better. 3 1/2 Steel Chairs. I headed to the concession stand to get some nachos while the show went to another break. Once I returned the next match had already began. We had Killjoy and Deacon in the ring. Deacon was saying something about Craig Miles. I think I missed the actual match. All i know is security had to break the two men up and Deacon got the pin via count out. UNRATED. I ate my nachos and missed a segment on the screen. However I was defeintly not going to miss the next match. Krow and Eli Flair made their way to the ring. My God was this match worth every penny The 'Zine paid to get me here! I marked out the entire time. As the two men went back and forward. As the two men gave it their all. This was wrestling. This was how it was done. HOLY HELL! Graphic Violence showed up. He choked Krow out giving him the win via DQ. I almost pissed my pants seing my hero. We had an officla pile up, as they fought to pull GV from Krow. Boy was this the best end to a great match. 5 out of 5 Steel Chairs. Next we had an in ring from a new tag team called The Brothers. I personally thought they where not that good on the microphone and didn't have the 'look'. But I guess we'll see next week. It was now time for the main event. The Internet Championship was on the line as 'The Mecca' Alex Creed would take on Keith Scott Zimmerman. When I thought no one could top the previous match, I was treated to this match and proven wrong. Both men went farther then they needed to. The action could have been cut in half, and the violence minimized and the fans would have still gotten what they paid for. But no, they turned the volume on both up until the speakers exploded. We had weapons, blood, high flying moves and so man 'Holy Shit' moments this match will always be remembered by me at least. This is the pinnicle of excitement to me as a wrestling fan. KSZ got the pinfall and kept his title and I was extremly happy with the show. 5 out of 5 Steel Chairs. Could it have been longer? Yes. Could there have been non televised matches for us who where there live? Yes. Did there need to be on either account? No. This was wrestling perfected. This was the FWO at it's finest. -------------------- eW Spot
