Actually, the effort put into this does make it serious and different is always better as doing things the same not only makes them boring but wastes the unique opportunity e-wrestling gives us.

So unironically correct post, I guess.

Obviously I'm aware of American Freebear (writing-wise, I think it's your strongest character, though I've never seen this Mr. Brown), that crack probably makes significantly less sense to people who DON'T know of the Flying Bear. I just read Derek's post, had a mental image of what you'd do with a character named American Mastodon (seeing where you took the Freebear gimmick, and other gimmicks that we'll consider "already discussed in the past"), and thus laughed at your expense. Just as I laugh at the expense of every other person on here when the situation presents itself.

You'd be a lot less fun to poke fun at if you didn't take everything so seriously. So, in a way... thank you, been a bad day and I needed a chuckle. wink.gif

But didn't you know? E-wrestlings is serious business.

And different is ALWAYS better, regardless of the end result, damnit!

I made a character called American Freebear. What reactions were you expecting?
DCGMoo Posted on Jun 21 2012, 03:30 PM
I didn't say you'd make the argument, I said others would make the argument for you. I was just taking a wild guess that had YOU created a character named "American Mastodon" he would've gotten a, um, "different" reaction.

If I handled it, why would I point out the fact that it is NOT a pachyderm despite naming himself the American Mastodon?

How come nobody made the argument that half his ring name is Mastodon and he is in no way a pachyderm?

Because Neige doesn't handle him. Duh. Get with the program. smile.gif

The Committee for "Da Cow God" Moo 2012 approves this post.

How come nobody made the argument that half his ring name is Mastodon and he is in no way a pachyderm? What's the point of that? He doesn't even suffer elephantitis.

Ah well, better late to the party than never. smile.gif

Man, how did it take two years for this character to find a home with all the interest it had??
