| Following a huge night in Lewiston, Fighting Spirit remains in New England for another big event. On Friday, June 8th, please join us at the National Guard Armory in Quincy, Mass, for FIGHTING SPIRIT #6 - THE SHOWDOWN ADJACENT TO BEANTOWN! In Lewiston, RYAN MARTINEZ was within mere seconds of winning the AWA National Title away from the controversial Mark Langseth. But the match, and his moment, were ruined by "VISCONTE" NICO VILLANOVA. In our main event in Quincy, Martinez and Villanova bring all their bad blood into the ring to settle things, once and for all. And they'll be doing it inside a STEEL CAGE! On Saturday Night's Maine Event, a mysterious video promised that Fighting Spirit would tangle with the legendary Mighty Bastard Championship promotion at some point this summer. Well, the ball starts rolling on that in Quincy with two QUALIFYING MATCHES for membership on TEAM FIGHTING SPIRIT. "MONEY" MATT CARTER, hot off his five thousand dollar Rising Stars win, once again faces KID PHOENIX, while ADRIAN CUISINE tangles with "BLITZKRIEG" HANS VON TRIPP! While making an appearance in Lewiston, joshi star FANTASY GIRL was interrupted and challenged by bitter Alabaman BILLY JOE COVINGTON. The two will settle that challenge in Quincy with an INTERGENDER MATCH! Plus, we'll see two tag team debuts at the Showdown. Two mysterious men showed up at the Maine Event to attack King Vile and Adrian Cuisine, and we can now confirm that those men have been signed to Fighting Spirit contracts. THE CANDYLAND EXPRESS will battle one of the teams they inadvertently cost a match, THE AUSTRIAN MEGAPOWERS! Meanwhile, MIKE GIONET was saved from a post match beatdown by former PVW star and his father's old friend "THE CELTIC CRIPPLER" CALEB FOLEY. The two have decided to give Fighting Spirit's tag team ranks a try, and as THE GRACIOUS OUTLAWS they'll take on THE AGENCY. And on Distilled Spirit #6, we've got a new feature... two "Live Look-in" matches, where you can see footage from exciting Fighting Spirit live events! This month OZ RIVERA takes on PLAYER 1 of the Nerd Power Collective, and JAKOB AITKINS bites off the biggest challenge he's yet faced in TWINKLETOES TIWILLIGER. |
