SY: This should be an interesting night, I expect a lot from Travis Cade, Kenjiro Ito, Jakob Volga, and Spooky Doom. All have been very impressive, as was Domanick McLeary who won’t be competing tonight due to a DUI.
KT: Yes, Domanick McLeary made a very poor choice and it cost him his NJWF contract, and we’re actually going to go to the back to Mildred Getchini who has more on this issue.
[The scene cuts to the back showing Mildred Getchini standing near a wall she’s wearing a white dress, her hair flowing behind her head. A nice smile is on her face.]
MG: Domanick McLeary was the only undefeated wrestler in the Spir….
[Someone flies into the picture and smashes Mildred into the wall. After a moment of confusion, the camera moves up to see Len Tuz wearing his ring attire and a “Power” shirt. He reaches over and seemingly grabs the camera man.]
LT: This piece of scum slapped Kiji Blarituz sometime back..This is what happens to anyone that disrespects Power!
[Tuz begins walking away, the camera is quickly set down and you can hear a male voice checking after Mildred. In a few seconds foot steps can be heard rushing up to the scene. The camera then fades to a Relatong commercial, followed by a Shira’s Gym commercial, and finally to a Zen Zu Plaza commercial. The camera fades back to the arena. KT: They still have the experience advantage as a team, and I believe that will give them an advantage here.
[Jupiter and Jackson Telford stay in the ring as Ryan Chan asks for the bell.]
KY: Telford and Jupiter are starting out here, the power portions of their respective teams.
[Jupiter and Telford go straight for each other in a collar and elbow tie up, they move for position until Telford pushes Jupiter off and fires off a Knife Edged Chop to his chest.]
SY: Telford is a strong striker and it showed right there, he lit Jupiter up.
KT: I think Jupiter is just shaking that one off. That was an effective message sent from Telford though.
[Telford and Jupiter tie back up again, Jupiter quickly flows behind Telford and clubs him with a forearm into the back of his neck. The blow causes Telford to stumble forward a bit.]
SY: Jupiter is keeping the pressure on with another clubbing forearm to Telford’s back….Another shot!

SY: Rong has always been very athletic and fluid in the ring, and that’s definitely paying off here.
[Rong makes the tag to Telford…Neptune gets to a knee holding his face.]
KT: Telford with a hard forearm to Neptune, and another one.
SY: Neptune fires back with a slap to Telford’s chest..I don’t think that had much effect.

SY: Viper Suplex! Telford was dropped right on the back of his head.
KT: Jupiter with the cover![He doesn’t hook a leg.]
KT: Telford able to kick out, Rong should have broke that one up. That showed some of their inexperience as a tag team….Here’s the tag back to Neptune.
[Neptune quickly comes in and pulls Telford up.]
SY: Neptune off the far ropes..Front Dropkick to Telford. Universe Heroes are keeping Telford extremely off balance here. Here’s another cover![Neptune doesn’t hook a leg.]

KT: Jupiter with another kick right to Telford’s chest, and another. Jupiter is being very aggressive tonight.
SY: He’s going to have to be, Telford is quite accomplished. He’s known to take advantage of any openings.
[Jupiter pulls Telford back to his feet and whips him into the opposite turnbuckles. Jupiter charges in.]
KT: Telford out of the way! Rong made the blind tag!
[Jupiter backs out of the corner after crashing into them, Rong springboards off the ropes, and rolls up Jupiter, placing his legs over his shoulders.]

Akihiko Kurogane enters the ring with the trophies, and a few attendants enter with the belts and hand them to Wu Liang Rong and Jackson Telford. Universe Heroes look shocked as they roll out of the ring shaking their heads.]
WK: The winners and new BHC Tag Team Champions..Chosen One’s!
KT: Chosen One’s did a great job tonight, and that was a tricky win by Rong.
SY: Yes it was, but it got the job done. These two have climb another mountain here in the NJWF, but this is where the challenge really begins. It’s never easy to hold onto the top spot.
[Camera’s flash as Chosen One’s pose with the titles and trophies. The scene then cuts to a Shomitzu’s Pizza commercial, then Kazu’s Sports Ade, and finally to a Meshow Wrestling Agency commercial. The camera comes back showing Ryan Chan in the ring with Wayne Kirby.]
WK: This match is the Finals Of The Shu No Mitama Group…
[As Iron Maiden's "Dance of Death" plays in the arena (start at the three minute mark to open with keen guitar riffs), green smoke seeps from the ground; a thin blanket covering the floor, but ever so slowly rising up. A strange entourage makes it's way from the back.]
[Spooky Doom makes his way down the aisle wearing a long robe dragging all the way to his feet, escorted by various trainers and cornermen. Black with lime-green trim, Spooky Doom looks like a boxing champion making his way to the ring. There's Ray Liotta, ICWF representative in Japan. Susuke Konda, a trainer and a good friend to Spooky Doom's uncle. There's Cryptkicker #2, a giant undead zombie. There's Cryptkicker #3, tag partner to Cryptkicker #2 and chief of security.]
"AS I DANCED WITH THE DEAD,"
"MY FREE SPIRIT WAS LAUGHING"
"AND HOWLING DOWN AT ME"
[The masked wrestler ascends the ring steps and passes through the ropes. Flinging the long robe off of his shoulders, he looks every bit the boxer: his traditional costume replaced by white long boxing trunks with "DOOM" in black stripes along both sides. Both arms in the air, he spins around in the center of the ring, looking every bit the champion. His mask is all black save for the mouth, green flames looking like a jaw from Hell. All of this underneath the white and green-trimmed hood of the Reaper. Cryptkicker's #2 massages Spooky's shoulders as Spooky Doom get's ready.]
[The curtains leading from backstage open as the red headed sadist, Mistress Kendra, slinks out of the back, dressed in a short cut Volga "Heartpunch" shirt and tight black leather pants and boots. She smiles a seductive smile to the audience and points back to the curtain as it is quickly parted as the man known as "Heartless" Jakob Volga steps out.]
["The Heartless One" stops at the top of the ramp for a second, wearing his black boxing style robe with the hood up and the word HEARTLESS written on the back. The crowd gives him moderate applause.]
[Jakob gives Mistress Kendra a nod and they both make their way down the ramp to the ring. Jakob walks up the steps to the apron and wipes his feet before helping Mistress Kendra up the steps, and letting her enter between the top and second ropes. Mistress Kendra returns the favor, holding the ropes open for him as Volga raises his taped heartpunch fist to the reaction of the crowd. Volga removes his robe and gives it to Mistress Kendra as she steps out of the ring and takes her place at ringside. Volga stands quietly in the corner, adjusting the tape on his right hand and wrist as he prepares to fight.]
WK: Introducing first…From Death Valley, California…weighing in at two-hundred twelve pounds…

KT: We all know Domanick McLeary was suppose to be in this match, but his arrest have made this match a one on one affair. Volga and Doom faced before in their first matches and wrestled to a draw.
SY: This is a great opportunity for both wrestlers in front of this huge crowd. Both have trained with wrestlers from their home promotions.
[Volga attempts to rush in, Spooky Doom slides to the side avoiding Volga’s charge and keeps his body facing him. Volga has a intense look on his face.]
KT: Spooky Doom needs to stay away from Volga at all costs, Volga wants to make an example out of Spooky Doom.
SY: Volga rushes in again..He surprised Doom this time!
[Volga back Doom into the turnbuckles with hard Elbow Strikes, after a few shots he starts kicking Doom in the abdomen.]
KT: Volga is wearing Doom out, we haven’t seen him this aggressive in the NJWF yet.
SY: A hard forearm knocks Spooky Doom down in the corner…Volga is putting the stomps into Doom’s chest.
RC- Back off Volga! Let him up!
[Volga stomps Doom in the chest again ignoring Chan. Volga reaches down and pulls Spooky Doom up to his feet.]
KT: The winner of this has to go to a match later tonight in the Spirit’s Glory finals…Volga is locked in right now. Definitely a different approach from his first match against Spooky.
SY: Another kick into Doom’s abdomen, Spooky hasn’t been tested in his ability to withstand pain in the tournament so far. He’s already getting tested at this point.
[Volga whips Doom to the far ropes, and ducks his head down.]
KT: Doom has Volga’s head…Tornado DDT! Volga was going for a Spine Buster, and Doom definitely needed that at this point. Volga has already done a lot of damage.
SY: That definitely dazed Volga, Spooky Doom is going to have to come up with a lot more tricks to keep Volga off balance.
[Doom gets up slowly, Volga crawls to the ropes trying to help himself up. Doom immediately makes his way towards Volga.]

[Doom kicks out, you can feel the tension in the crowd realizing the importance of the match.]
SY: Volga isn’t messing around, if Spooky Doom can frustrate Volga in this mindset. He could pull off a victory tonight.
KT: Volga has Doom back to his feet..another hard forearm into Doom’s face. Those shots knock Doom straight back.
[Volga hits Doom with a hard Knife Edged Chop that knocks him up against the ropes. Volga attempts to whip Doom across the ring.]

KT: That nailed Volga right in the side of his face, nobody expected Spooky Doom to throw out a strong style maneuver.
[Volga rolls out of the ring holding his face, moderate applause comes from the crowd. Doom takes a few moments to gather himself, it‘s obvious he‘s in a lot of pain.]
SY: Another little trick there from Spooky Doom, just enough to stop Volga’s momentum and earn the advantage for himself.
KT: Doom is up to the top rope, this is where he’s at his best.
[Spooky Doom has his back turned to Volga, Spooky Doom dives off the top with a Moonsault crashing into Volga taking him down. Some gasps are heard from the crowd.]
SY: Spooky Doom just turned the tide of this match, this guy could be such a talent if he just focuses on his craft at all times and ignores some of the drama that he surrounds himself with.
KT: I agree, that Moonsault definitely took Volga down a bit…Doom is back to his feet, and has the match in his hands right now.
[Volga is up to a knee and looks a little dazed. Doom kicks him in the head knocking him back down. Doom quickly climbs back on the apron.]
SY: Spooky Doom is doing a good job at keeping Volga off his feet…Here he goes…
KT: Asai Moonsault on the downed Volga! That had some serious impact! Spooky is leaving all out there in the arena.
[Spooky Doom gets up holding his abdomen slightly before rolling back into the ring. Volga gets up with a little less energy.]
RC- Come on Volga back into the ring!
SY: Chan isn’t using his count, he doesn’t want this match to end on a count out. Ever since Volga took the Gamengiri he hasn’t been able to regain himself.
KT: Volga is back up and rolls into the ring…
[Right as Volga stands up Doom snap kicks him into the abdomen that takes some air out of him.]
SY: We haven’t seen that kick from Spooky Doom before..Volga fires back with a kick into Doom’s abdomen.
KT: Volga has Doom up..Twisting Spine Buster! Volga’s power and intensity coming through for him again!

SY: Volga has been kept off balance, Spooky Doom has shown an extreme speed advantage.
[Volga pulls Spooky Doom to his feet, and pushes him into the ropes. Volga lashes at Doom hitting him with another Knife Edged Chop.]
KT: Hard Knife Edged Chop..and another hard forearm. Another shot into Spooky Doom, those have some serious force behind them.
SY: Volga shoots Doom into the far ropes…Doom holds onto the ropes!
[Doom charges Volga, and whips him down with a Spinning Head Scissors. Excitement is heard from the crowd. Volga and Doom quickly pop back to their feet.]
KT: Doom with an impressive takedown there…He’s scooping up Volga! He’s showing some strength!
SY: Sit Out Slam on Volga! I’m surprised he was able to get Volga up.
[Doom drags Volga parallel to the corner, he throws up the Devil Horns before climbing to the top turnbuckles. His corner crew cheer him on, as excitement is heard from the crowd.]

KT: Volga gets his shoulder up! Spooky Doom almost took the match there. That blow took a lot of air out of Volga.
SY: That was the closet fall of the night…Spooky looks a little frustrated.
[Doom slams the mat once before pulling Volga a bit towards the middle of the ring. Spooky steps over Volga and positions himself with the turnbuckles.]
KT: Doom springs up to the top turnbuckle…Moonsault! Volga out of the way and Doom eats the mat!
SY: That may have put Volga away, but he was able to move out of the way.
[Volga stumbles back to his feet as Spooky Doom raises up holding his abdomen, excitement is heard from the crowd.]
KT: Volga has Spooky Doom…Uranagi Slam! That drilled Spooky Doom down hard! Volga’s hard hitting offense has taken it’s toll on Spooky Doom throughout the match tonight.
SY: It definitely hasn’t been a pretty or flashy attack from Jakob Volga, but it has been extremely effective.
[Volga pulls Spooky off the mat and sets him up for a Brainbuster. Cheers are heard from the crowd.]

SY: The crowd is applauding what was an impressive match, Volga now has to regain himself in time for the finals later tonight.
[Spooky Doom is helped out of the ring by his corner men as the crowd applauds his efforts throughout the tournament. Volga stands in the ring with an intense glare in his eye.]
KT: We’re getting word from the back that Mildred Getchini has suffered a slight concussion after her attack at the hands of Len Tuz. Which just adds to a long list of females he’s already attacked in the NJWF.
SY: I can’t condone such sad acts from Tuz, Kiji Blarituz disrespected Mildred Getchini resulting in her slapping him. To see this happen to her as a result is sad.
KT: Tuz still has his match against Jin Kazyang tonight for the BHC World Championship later tonight. Hopefully, he doesn’t walk away tonight giving Power the BHC World Championship.
SY: That would definitely change the landscape of the NJWF, with the House Of Shadows claiming to make their presence known on the Circuit 2007 Evolution Tour.
[The scene cuts to a Gi Shun’s Wrestling Agency commercial, then to a Shira’s Gym commercial, followed by a Relatong commercial. The camera cuts back to the arena showing Paul Kwan in the ring with Wayne Kirby.]
WK: This match is the finals of the Tairei Group…
[The beginning drum beats grow into a crescendo, guitar hitting over top. "This Could be Anywhere in the World" by Alexisonfire goes into full force. Coming from the entrance way, towel draped around his neck is the man of the minute, Travis Cade.]
[Cade receives a nice sized reaction that affects him little. He keeps his focus on, slapping hands with the few that reach out for him. Hopping onto the ring apron he bobs his head a bit to the music, self concentration falling into the moment. A raised fist and he steps in, warming up with duck and shoot drills to his corner. Cade is a _very_ athletic, young man. His is very toned like many mixed martial arts fighters are and though deeply and religiously a pro wrestler now, he still trains in that style and vein. An unrelenting, vomit inducing pace. He simply will not get tired. His brown hair is short, his eyes non descript. His is handsome in a rugged way, his nose showing some signs of being broken, his ears somewhat cauliflowered from years of grinding despite wearing protective gear. For this occasion Cade wears a white singlet with one purple strap and one purple leg to go with matching knee pad pullovers and black boots. Entering, he slips his singlet straps over strongly sculpted shoulders, moving to his corner.]
[The opening beats to J-Pop sensation Koda Kumi's song "JUICY" begin to wail over the sound system, prompting some applause, and mostly boos, from the crowd. Kenjiro Ito, the self professed Future of Wrestling, emerges from the back, nodding along with the song. A pair of blue shades rest on his face, and he is clad in his usual entrance attire, a long blue coat that runs from his shoulders down to his feet.
[Ito walks up the steel steps and steps into the ring, he moves to his corner while keeping an eye on Travis Cade. He hands his shades and jacket to a ring attendant. He tugs on the ropes once or twice, waiting for the bell to sound.]
WK: Introducing first, from Boulder, Colorado…weighing in at two-hundred twenty six pounds…
[The fans throw in red streamers as Travis’s name and weight goes over the bottom of the screen in Japanese characters, and his weight in kilo grams. Some of the streamers fall over his body as he simply nods his head towards Ito. The ring crew and Dojo students begin pulling the streamers away.]
WK: His opponent…from Osaka, Japan..Weighing in at two-hundred fifty six pounds…
[No streamers are thrown as Ito stares straight at Travis Cade. Some applause and many boos are heard, making for a nice sized reaction. Ito‘s information appears at the bottom of the screen in Japanese characters, his weight in kilo grams. Paul Kwan waits to ring the bell.]
KT: This will be a definite contrast of styles, Travis Cade is going to do everything possible to keep this match on the ground. While Ito is going to want to use his power and size advantage.
SY: Both would be complete different match ups against Jakob Volga in the finals.
[They circle each other briefly, Cade surprises Ito with a double leg takedown. Ito tries to scramble to his feet, Cade quickly locks Ito in a wrist lock with his body stretched to the side and Ito down on the mat.]
KT: This the exact start Travis Cade would want, he’s fantastic on the mat with his Sambo and Greco Roman training. He can keep almost anyone down on the mat and frustrate them.
SY: He has this wrist lock synched in, Paul Kwan is checking in on Ito.
[Ito’s shoulders are down on the mat, Paul Kwan begins his count.]
KT: Ito able to get his shoulder up, Cade still has the dominant position here though. He’s making Ito work for every break here.
SY: This is going to go a long way in weakening Ito’s right arm for a possible Jujigatame. Ito needs to be careful or Cade could find a way to lock it on now.
[Cade switches his body position and grip on Ito, he quickly locks him in an Armbar with his knee across Ito’s face. Cade pulls up causing stress on Ito’s right shoulder.]
KT: It’s obvious that Cade feels his best opportunity to win this match is on the ground, Ito doesn’t have much answer down here for Cade.
SY: Ito has great stamina though, I’ve seen his training regiment. If he can survive his longevity in this match probably won’t be effected.
[Kwan checks on Ito, Cade pulls up on the arm causing Ito to cry out a bit. Ito is trying to roll over, but Cade has a firm grip on him.]
KT: Cade has this hold locked in tight, everything he does on the mat looks just a little more crisp than most wrestlers.
SY: That is true, Cade is an accomplished MMA fighter and Amateur Wrestler. The guy is well schooled.
[Cade finally releases the hold and stands up, he stomps Ito in the ribs causing him to sit up in pain.]
KT: Cade has taken it to Ito in the early minutes of the match, dominating Ito on the ground.
SY: Cade back down to the mat locking Ito in a Rear Chinlock. His arms are wrapped tight around Ito’s jaw.
[Cade leans in with the hold locked on, Ito has a pained look on his face as he fights to attempt to get to his feet.]
KT: Ito is fighting up to a knee..Cade can’t keep him down. Ito is reaching for his training here. He definitely needs it in order to last in a ground war against Travis Cade.
SY: Cade looks to be tightening up his grip on the Chinlock, he’s doing everything possible to keep Ito off his feet here.
[Ito powers his way to his feet. Cade immediately lets go of the Chinlock and nails Ito with a powerful European Uppercut that gain gasps from the crowd.]
KT: Ito took that shot and is still on his feet…Cade off the ropes.
[As Cade rebounds off the middle rope; almost looking like he was falling out of the ring Ito charges him, and drills the Bakemono Lariat, the blow knocked Cade over on his side. Seemingly the whole crowd gasps.]
SY: What a shot right there from Ito! The Bakemono Lariat may have knocked Cade out.
KT: That definitely has changed the momentum of this match, now Ito can impose his will on Travis Cade.
[Ito has an intense look on his face, after a few moments of stretching out his right arm he pulls Travis Cade back to his feet.]
SY: Ito off the ropes this time…
KT: BAKEMONO LARITOOOO! Again Ito hits his left armed Lariat! Here’s the cover![He hooks the outside leg.]
SY: Cade, just able to kick out! He just took two stiff Bakemono Lariat’s. I personally have no idea how he was able to kick out from those blows.
KT: Those did have some serious impact, especially the second one. Ito got a lot of steam behind it.
[Ito spins his left arm as Cade slowly begins to get back to his feet. Ito is poised near the ropes. Excitement is heard from the crowd.]
SY: Ito is ready to take Cade’s head off with another Bakemono Lariat. I’m not sure that Cade can survive a third one.
KT: He’s hardly able to get to his feet after the first two..
[Gasps are heard from the crowd as Cade gets to his feet, Ito bounces off the ropes. Cade ducks underneath the Lariat.]
SY: Cade avoided the Bakemono Lariat! He has a waistlock on Ito…
KT: GERMAN SUPLEX! He dropped Ito right on the back of his head! Cade’s technique out matched Ito’s brute force on that exchange. The crowd is firmly behind Travis Cade here.
[Kwan checks on Ito who landed hard on the back of his head, Cade slowly pushes himself up to his feet. Ito isn’t too far behind him.]
SY: The first few minutes of this match was a wrestling exposition show by Travis Cade, now the match has seem some brutal strikes and suplexes.
KT: This style does suit Ito much more, it gets Cade out of his comfort zone…Both are back to their feet now.
[Cade throws a forearm into the side of Ito’s face, he almost immediately follows it up with another stiff European Uppercut that knocks Ito back into the ropes.]
SY: Those European Uppercuts are vicious, those are about the only fearful strikes Cade can throw at his opponents.
KT: Cade whips Ito across the ring…reversed by Ito!
[Ito reaches down catching Cade and takes him over with an Exploder. Excitement is heard from the crowd.]
SY: Ito was just one step ahead of Travis Cade there, his stiff offense is definitely leaving an impression on Travis Cade!
[Ito quickly pulls Cade off the mat, and sets him up in a standing head scissors. Excitement is heard from the crowd knowing what’s coming. Ito crosses Cade’s arms and picks him up.]
KT: ITO’S ICE AGEEE!! Travis Cade is down!
SY: Vicious move![Ito stacks Cade’s legs up.]
[Dojo Students quickly enter the ring and put an ice pack underneath Travis Cade’s head. Cade’s and Ito’s names appear at the bottom of the screen in Japanese letters. Ito’s name is highlighted signifying the win. 9:07 appears above their names signifying match length.]
WK: The winner of the Tairei Group and moving to the Spirit’s Glory Finals…Ito Kenjiro!
KT: Ito overcame Cade’s early mat dominance to put him down with the Ito’s Ice Age. Jakob Volga the Shu No Mitama Champion will face Kenjiro Ito for the Spirit’s Glory Championship.
SY: That match will be after the BHC World Championship, Ito came back to Japan on a mission and is one step away from completing it. It will be a battle of wills in Spirit’s Glory Final.
[The scene cuts to a Relatong commercial, then to a Shira’s Gym commercial. The scene comes back showing Wayne Kirby in the ring with Santo Dru.]
WK: This match is scheduled for one fall…
[“Vince Matthews(Instrumental)” by John Smith blasts over the PA. Matthews comes from the back wearing, Long Black and Gold Sleeveless robe with a Big 'H' on the back. Black and Gold Long tights with Hollywood on them yellow boots and sunglasses. He received nice sized cheers from the crowd, a small number of boos can also be heard. Matthews walks to the ring slowly, he walks up the steel steps immediately making his way over to his corner. He takes off the robe and sunglasses, handing them to a ring attendant. He has a focused look on his face.]
[“Generation Glory” by Ayumi Kawasaki plays through the arena. Hidemichi Arihyoshi comes from the back, the crowd immediately stands up and applauds and loud cheers are heard. “Hidemichi” chants begin as well. Hidemichi walks to the ring slapping the hands of as many fans as possible on both sides. A grin on his face, he walks up the steel steps and enters the ring looking over at Matthews.]
WK: Introducing first..Weighing in at two-hundred thirty nine pounds..From Hollywood, California…
[Yellow Streamers are thrown from the crowd as applause is heard, Matthews flexes an arm to the crowd. His information appears at the bottom of the screen in Japanese characters and his weight in kilo grams. The Dojo Students and ring crew clean up the streamers.]
WK: His opponent..Weighing in at two-hundred thirty seven pounds…from Yokohama, Japan…returning back to the NJWF….
[White steamers are thrown as loud applause is heard as Hidemichi waves his arms then nods his head to the crowd. His information appears at the bottom of the screen in Japanese characters and his weight in kilo grams. The Dojo Students and ring crew clean up the streamers. Dru waits to ring the bell.]
[The Hidemichi chants raise up again.]
KT: The crowd is into Hidemichi’s return to the NJWF. This has been a long time coming, it’s great to see him back.
SY: He was one of the most technically sound wrestlers in the world when he stepped away from the NJWF, he hasn’t wrestled a match in almost three years.
[They slowly circle each other before locking up, Hidemichi quickly locks Matthews in an Arm Wringer.]
KT: That was smooth and fluid, if that’s any indication, Hidemichi hasn’t lost anything. This match will have a slow pace as both are more comfortable wrestling a technical style of a match.
SY: I look for a lot of counters and chain wrestling here.
[Hidemichi jerks Matthews arm, Matthews quickly turns it into an Arm Wringer of his own and into a quick Hammerlock.]
KT: Matthews isn’t to be outdone here, he’s an extremely accomplished wrestler. He’s spent years perfecting his craft.
SY: He has the Hammerlock in nicely on Hidemichi.
[Hidemichi counters with a Drop Toe Hold he quickly locks a Hammerlock in on Matthews, who quickly counters out of it and puts Hidemichi in a Front Headlock. Hidemichi quickly counters out of it. They both sprawl towards their feet getting applause from the crowd.]
KT: Great chain wrestling there, neither could really hold the advantage for too long. So far it looks like Hidemichi still is as fluid as he ever was.
SY: They lock up again..Hidemichi with the Side Headlock on Matthews. He’s got a good grip on it as well.
[The crowd starts booing as Kiji Blarituz comes from the back in a Power jump suit, he walks slowly towards the ring with a grin on his face.]
KT: What is Blarituz doing out here? Is he here to scout or something?
SY: There’s no telling with our International Champion, he’s usually up to something.
[Kiji jumps on the apron distracting Santo Dru and Hidemichi. Hidemichi lets go of Matthews and looks over to Kiji with a puzzled look.]
KT: Hidemichi is just as confused as we are to what’s going on…
[Matthews regains himself and punts Hidemichi between the legs from behind, bending him over. Loud boos come from the crowd, Matthews drops to a knee and hits an upper cut between Hidemichi’s legs.]
SY: Oh my goodness! Hidemichi is down! Those two blows will definitely be felt for a few days. I definitely didn’t expect this from Vince Matthews!
[Kiji drops down from the apron, Matthews pulls Hidemichi up from his knees in a Front Facelock. Matthews pulls Hidemichi up and hits him with a Cattle Buster DDT. The crowd continues to boo. As Kiji smiles on the outside.]
KT: I can’t believe what I’m seeing here![Matthews hooks Hidemichi’s outside leg.]
[Matthews immediately rolls out of the ring in the direction of Kiji. Kiji puts his arm around Vince’s shoulders as they both look at the ring with grins on their faces. Dojo Students slide into the ring and check on Hidemichi. Their names appear at the bottom of the screen in Japanese characters, Matthews name is bold signifying the victory. 3:22 appears above their names signifying match length. Hidemichi is holding his groin, and his face looks to be in agony. The crowd continues the near defining boos as Kiji and Vince walk up the ramp.]
WK: The winner of the match…Vince Matthews!
KT: Vince Matthews has just joined Power! Which means nothing can be done to change this match, I doubt Sam Yanson would reverse this decision. This explains why he ruled favorably in Matthews decision with the Davis match.
SY: At one point I thought Power would gain control over the NJWF, now I dread the fact that it may happen. There’s nothing worthwhile about Power! Nothing!
[Matthews’ music continues to play as Hidemichi continues to struggle in the ring. The scene cuts to a ZenZu Plaza commercial, them to a Shira’s Gym commercial, and finally to a Kazu’s Restaurant commercial. The camera comes back to the arena showing Joan Lux and Wayne Kirby in the ring. Akihiko Kurogane and two teenage girls with a bouquet of white roses are also present in the ring.]
WK: This match is for the BHC World Championship…
["Power" by Jill Sampson blasts over the PA as, “Master” Len Tuz comes from the back wearing his usual attire. Behind him are Power members Bickson Sulitan and Lina Kirkilas. They are wearing the Power jump suits. They receive loud jeers from the crowd as they all walk towards the ring ignoring the crowd. Some cups are thrown towards Tuz, as the fans are not happy with his actions from earlier in the night.]
[Tuz walks up the steel steps and into the ring, Sulitan and Kirkilas walk around ringside to his corner.]
Deep Male Voice: Here is your Foundation! The Foundation of Honor!
[An explosion happens at the entry way as, "Foundation of Honor (Instrumental)" by John Smith blasts over the PA. Jin Kazyang comes from the back in his usual attire, the BHC World Championship around his waist, behind him is Jun Kazyang and Walter Yeates in Foundation Of Honor jump suits. Many fans stand up and clap, cheering the Foundation Of Honor members. They all walk towards the ring with serious looks on their faces, Jin is specifically starring at Len Tuz.]
[Kazyang walks up the steel steps and into the ring, he hands the BHC World Championship to Referee Lux. Yeates and Jun stay on the outside in his corner. Akihiko Kurogane walks to the middle of the ring with a microphone.]
AK: The BHC Committee welcome this match on short notice, and sanction this match for the BHC World Championship. We expect nothing less than an outstanding performance from each wrestler. I would look to present both of you with roses as a gesture from the BHC Committee.
[The girls walk up to either wrestler, Jin receives his flowers and bows to the girl before handing them to an attendant at ringside. Len simply takes his flowers and flicks them towards an attendant that barley catches them.]
AK: I wish both wrestlers the best…
[Kurogane leaves the ring with the two teenage girls. Wayne Kirby takes the microphone and steps to the center of the ring.]
WK: Introducing first…Weighing in at two-hundred seventy eight pounds…from Taipei, China…Representing Power…
[No Streamers are thrown. Tuz simply leans against the turnbuckles with a cocky grin on his face as he looks over towards Kazyang. His name appears at the bottom of the screen in Japanese characters and his weight in kilo grams. Loud jeers are heard from the crowd. Tuz casually raises his arm and flips the crowd the bird without taking his eyes off Kazyang or moving.]
WK: His opponent..Weighing in at two-hundred twenty pounds…from Nagoya, Japan…Representing the Foundation Of Honor…
[Light Blue and White streamers are thrown. Jin puts his hands together and nods his head, as loud cheers are heard from the crowd. His name appears at the bottom of the screen in Japanese characters, and his weight in kilo grams. Dojo Students and ring crew clean up the streamers as Lux waits to ring the bell.]
KT: Here we go, this is a definite contrast of styles here. Tuz prefers a slow grinding pace, and Kazyang likes to keep things fast.
SY: Tuz has to be one of the most hated men in Japan right now, it would be a scene if he were to win the BHC Championship here.
[They slowly circle each other, making sure to not break eye contact.]
KT: Tuz trying to gain position..Kazyang staying out of his grasp. Grappling with Tuz would definitely be a mistake by Kazyang.
SY: I agree he needs to use his striking ability and speed tonight, to make his V2 defense a successful one.
[Kazyang whips a Shin Kick to Tuz’s right calf. The shot stuns Tuz briefly. Kazyang follows it up with another sharp Shin Kick to his calf.]
KT: Kazyang found an opening with those kicks, he keeps the advantage with a forearm shot.
SY: Kazyang is right on top of Tuz here!
[Kazyang grabs Tuz by the head and throws it into the near top turnbuckle. Tuz turns around in the corner taking a Shin Kick to his chest.]
KT: Kazyang is being extremely aggressive, this probably gives him the best opportunity to win.
SY: Another Shin Kick to Tuz’s chest, the scouting report on Tuz says he sometimes folds when on the receiving end of strikes.
[Kazyang kicks Tuz in the abdomen, before whipping him to the opposite turnbuckles. Kazyang pauses before charging him. Excitement is heard from the crowd.]
KT: Jumping Back Elbow from the BHC World Champion! That found it’s mark on Tuz! Tuz doesn’t have an answer so far in the early goings.
SY: Kazyang is on fire..Knife Edged Chop to Tuz…and another Shin Kick to his abdomen.
[Kazyang whips Tuz to the opposite turnbuckles..Tuz reverses. Excitement can be heard from the crowd.]
KT: Kazyang up to the top turnbuckle…flips over Tuz. Great athleticism!
SY: Tuz turns right into a Dropkick! He took that one right on the side of his face!
[Tuz rolls out of the ring as a, “Kazyang” chant starts. Sulitan and Kirkilas come over and check on him. The crowd is really into the match.]
KT: Tuz has been caught off guard by the barrage from Kazyang and is taking his time on the outside.
SY: Kazyang has worked his whole body with strikes so far. I’m not sure Tuz was prepared for that type of offense.
[Tuz gets back on the apron, he drops back off as Kazyang approaches which earns him jeers from the crowd. He walks around on the outside briefly.]
JL- Get back into the ring Tuz! Come on!
KT: Tuz is in no hurry, and Lux isn’t using her count. This is giving Tuz a lot of time to regroup.
SY: You’re right, Tuz needed this time to rethink his strategy. The BHC Committee thought he deserved this match after he defeated Dren Mushen on SPW’s Ringu Faia show.
[Tuz gets back on the apron again, he points towards Kazyang. Lux keeps him back, Tuz slowly enters the ring. Kazyang immediately charges.]
KT: Tuz caught Kazyang and has him up…Ohhh! Kazyang got draped stomach first across the top rope!
SY: That will definitely take the air right out of someone!
[Tuz dumps Kazyang on the outside and quickly follows him out. The crowd is hanging on every move. Tuz pulls Kazyang up on the outside.]
KT: Tuz has snatched control from Kazyang and sends him shoulder first into the steel post! Tuz has picked up the aggression here.
SY: A forearm into Kazyang’s back drops him to his knees. This is a completely different Tuz from the beginning of the match.
[Tuz pulls Kazyang back up, and pulls him back slightly before pushing him shoulder first back into the steel ring post. Kazyang drops back down to a knee.]
KT: Kazyang’s shoulder is taking a beating on the outside…Lux is on the outside now. Ordering Tuz to get the match back into the ring.
SY: Lux should watch out, we all know Tuz isn’t above attacking a female.
[Tuz pulls Kazyang back to his feet and rolls him into the ring. Lux slides back in as well, Tuz walks around the ring and slowly walks up the steel steps drawing jeers from the crowd.]
KT: Tuz is too cocky for his own good, he’s wasting a lot of time here. He should be working over his advantage right now.
SY: He’s just looking down at Kazyang with a grin on his face.
[Tuz slowly pulls Kazyang the rest of his way to his feet and locks him in a Uranagi. Tuz quickly whips Kazyang over his head, causing Jin to land on the back of his neck.]
KT: MEISAKU NAGEMASU! That drilled Kazyang..that was one of the many Sambo Style Suplexes Tuz is known for.
SY: Here’s the cover![Tuz doesn’t hook a leg.]
[Kazyang kicks out and small applause is heard from the crowd. Tuz grabs Kazyang’s arm, and steps across his face locking in an Armbar. His leg is also pressed against Kazyang’s nose.]
KT: Very unique hold here, Tuz has a unique style. He knows how to wear his opponents down.
SY: He has Kazyang right where he wants him. The few minutes he spent regaining himself has really paid off for him.
[Tuz keeps the unique Armbar locked in as Lux checks on Kazyang. Tuz has a somewhat loose grip on the arm though.]
KT: I think Tuz is realizing how close he is to the BHC World Championship, and now he has locked in on Kazyang.
SY: There’s no taking away the accomplished athlete Len Tuz is, he just allows so many variables to mess with his concentration.
[Tuz releases the hold and immediately stops Kazyang in his shoulder. Tuz then steps over Kazyang and salutes the crowd drawing jeers.]
KT: Tuz is wasting more time again. I don’t understand what goes through his head.
SY: He’s way into himself, Kazyang is no joke. Every second Kazyang gets to regroup is precious time lost for Tuz.
[Tuz turns around back towards Kazyang before stomping his shoulder again. Tuz then rolls him over, sits on his back, puts Kazyang’s right across his knee, and locks in a reverse Chinlock with his hands cusped around Kazyang’s chin.]
KT: Tuz has this match at a snails pace, and this Chinlock isn’t doing any favors for Kazyang.
SY: Tuz is doing what he’s great at, he’s just going to grind away at Kazyang. I am impressed with how Tuz has wrestled this match.
[Tuz keeps the hold on as Lux checks on Kazyang. The crowd has a tense feeling running through it. Kazyang’s face looks racked with pain.]
KT: Kazyang’s shoulder took a lot of damage from the steel post. He still has to be favoring that now.
SY: I think Tuz would be happy holding Kazyang down for the rest of the night. There’s not much he can do from this position.
[Tuz lets go of the hold and stomps Kazyang in his back. Tuz leans on the top rope, looking out to the crowd shaking his head.]
KT: Tuz is wasting more time, he has Kazyang barely hanging on and he won’t put him away.
SY: I don’t know what else to say, Tuz has let minutes pass with all the attention he’s paid to the crowd.
[Kazyang pulls himself up just as Tuz turns around.]
KT: Here goes Tuz…
[Tuz charges Kazyang and attempts a Lariat..Kazyang blocks the blow, grabbing Tuz’s arm. Kazyang cartwheels taking Tuz down, locking his legs around his right arm with the Ude Tsubushimasu.]
KT: UDE TSUBUSHIMASUU!! Tuz is tapping! Kazyang got him!
[Luz rolls out of the ring holding his arm. His corner checks on him, as they make their way to the back. Their names appear at the bottom of the screen, Kazyang’s is highlighted signifying the win. 10:19 is above their name signifying match length. The trophies are brought into the ring with the BHC World Championship, Kurogane also gets into the ring.]
WK: The winner and still BHC World Champion..Jin Kazyang!
SY: Kazyang pulls this match off, definitely impressive. He earned this win, and Tuz has no one else to blame but himself for this loss.
[Yeates and Jun pat Kazyang on the back as Kurogane shakes his hand. Camera flashes are seen as Kazyang looks tired. The BHC World Championship is handed to him by a ring attendant.]
KT: Kazyang is proving a lot of his doubters wrong, that was his second defense of the BHC World Championship and he was able to retain. Now we’re only left with the Spirit’s Glory Final Match. Jakob Volga will take on Kenjiro Ito. Ito proved that the Ito’s Ice Age is a move that isn’t very easily escaped.
SY: I don’t even think Volga could survive the Ito’s Ice Age. He has an advantage in brawling, but Ito is definitely the better the mat wrestler. Both are hard hitters, it should be interesting to view both of their strategies.
[The scene cuts to a Shira’s Gym Commercial, then to a Yulan’s Wrestling Supplies commercial, followed by a Zen Zu’s Plaza commercial, finally to a Meshow’s Wrestling Agency commercial. The scene cuts back to the arena showing a ring crew member with the $10,000 check sitting in front of him on the outside. The five foot Spirit’s Glory Trophy also sits in front of another member of the ring crew. Michizane Morisue sits on the outside as well. The camera switches to show the ring, Wayne Kirby is standing in the ring with Bruce Choi.]
WK: This match is to decide the winner of the Spirit’s Glory Championship…
[Applause is heard from the crowd.]
["The Heartless One" stops at the top of the ramp for a second. The crowd gives him moderate applause. Sweat remains on his body from his match with Spooky Doom.]
Volga stands quietly in the corner, adjusting the tape on his right hand and wrist as he prepares to fight.]
[The opening beats to J-Pop sensation Koda Kumi's song "JUICY" begin to wail over the sound system, prompting some applause, and mostly boos, from the crowd. Kenjiro Ito, the self professed Future of Wrestling, emerges from the back, a completely serious look on his face as he stares towards the ring. He walks slowly, stretching out his right arm slightly.
[Ito walks up the steel steps and steps into the ring, he moves to his corner while keeping his focus on Volga. He stretches out his arm on the top rope waiting for the bell to sound.]
WK: Introducing first… From Cleveland, Ohio..weighing in at two-hundred seventy three pounds…The winner of the Shu No Mitama Group..
[Volga raises his right hand in the air, the crowd gives him moderate cheers, white streamers are thrown. His name appears at the bottom of the screen in Japanese characters, and his weight in kilo grams. The Dojo Students and ring crew clean up the streamers quickly.]
ST: His opponent…from Osaka, Japan..Weighing in at two-hundred fifty six pounds…The winner of the Tairei Group!
[No streamers are thrown as Ito stares at Jakob Volga. Some applause and many boos are heard, making for a nice sized reaction. Ito‘s information appears at the bottom of the screen in Japanese characters, his weight in kilo grams. Bruce Choi waits to ring the bell.]
[Both immediately charge the middle of the ring throwing hard forearms back and forth. Excitement is heard from the crowd right away.]
KT: They’re not waiting at all! Those forearms are connection on both of their chins! Volga with a hard Elbow strike!
SY: Ito throws another forearm back into Volga’s face..He’s not backing down at all! Volga with another hard Elbow strike! That one staggered Ito!
[Volga grabs Ito by his head and tosses him through the middle ropes, Volga and Choi quickly follow him out. The crowd hasn’t let down yet.]
KT: Ito quickly back to his feet, Volga has come out here with a different level intensity. I haven’t ever seen this from him before!
SY: Volga fires in another forearm strike to Ito’s face! And another one! Ito fires back again!
[Volga cuts Ito off with a knee lift, Volga grabs his head and runs toward the steel steps. He bounces Ito’s head off the steel. The crowd groans.]
BC- Get it back in the ring Volga!
KT: Volga is ripping into Ito in the early going here. Just the look on his face is vicious! Another hard forearm into Ito’s face!
SY: Volga is leaving everything he has in the arena, I don’t think Ito was expecting this kind of barrage.
[Volga pulls Ito by his head again, he lines him up with the guardrail and whips him towards it.]
KT: Reversed by Ito! Volga went back first into the guardrail. I’m glad Choi is letting this go, a lot is on the line in this match!
SY: Ito is meeting challenge for the most part…Here he comes!
[Volga charges off from the guardrail towards Ito. Ito ducks under a Lariat attempt and grabs him from the side.]
KT: Blizzard SUPLEX into the guardrail! That will take some steam out of Volga! High impact move from Ito there.
SY: I haven’t seen that before, but it definitely paid off there for Ito!
BC- Come on Ito take it to the ring!
[Excitement is heard from the crowd, Ito starts pulling back the mat on the outside earning gasps from the crowd. Ito tosses them aside, he has an extremely intense look on his face.]
KT: Ito isn’t quite done on the outside yet, this match has been a war so far!
SY: They’ve gone right at each other since the opening bell, both seem fresh despite their matches earlier in the evening.
[Volga is struggling to get to his feet as Ito makes his way back towards him, and pulls him up the rest of the way.]
KT: No Ito’s not! DOUBLE ARM DDT! Ito drove Volga’s head straight into the concrete! He may have just given Volga a concussion!
SY: Ito is completely focused at the task at hand. He just put himself in a great position!
[Ito rolls into the ring, Kendra runs over checking on Volga as does Choi. Volga rolls over and there’s some blood coming from a wound. Excitement is still coming from the crowd.]
KT: Volga is bleeding, and Ito gets to catch his breath. This match is even more intense than the match Ito had against McLeary.
SY: Ito’s rolling back to the outside, I don’t think he feels like waiting for Volga to get himself back up.
[Kendra and Choi move out of the way as Ito slowly drags Volga to his feet.]
KT: Forearm shot from Ito, he’s not holding back at all right now…He sends Volga back into the ring.
SY: This match is going to come down to who can take the most pain.
[Ito quickly follows Volga in, followed by Choi. Ito stomps Volga on his upper back.]
KT: This match has finally found it’s way back into the ring, Volga has already started bleeding as a result of Ito’s Double Arm DDT on the outside.
SY: Ito pulling Volga back up again, he’s keeping the offensive pressure on right now.
[Ito kicks Volga in the abdomen doubling him over. Ito runs to the near ropes.]
KT: Twisting Spinebuster from Volga! He has a lot left and drilled Ito right there!
SY: Here’s the cover from Volga![He hooks the outside leg.]
[Ito kicks out, Volga with an intense look on his immediately pulls Ito up to his feet by his hair. The crowd continues to sound excited.]
KT: Volga keeping the pressure on, has Ito in the corner. I wouldn’t think Volga would have been able to gain his energy back so quickly.
SY: His training with Chad Allen has sent Volga into a completely different mindset!
[Volga throws Ito’s head into the top turnbuckle and repeats the process on three more violent occasions which drops Ito to a knee.]
KT: Volga put all his upper body strength into those blows. Now he has Ito on his toes!
SY: Volga quickly across the ring, what does he have in mind here?!
[Volga charges Ito who is still on a knee in the corner and delivers a stiff knee right between his shoulder blades. Ito falls back grabbing at his back as gasps are heard from the crowd.]
KT: My goodness, that looked painful! Volga was trying to break his back with that knee![Volga drags Ito closer to the center of the ring.]
SY: Here’s the cover from Volga, he may have Ito here![He hooks the outside leg.]
KT: Ito kicks out again, but that was close! Volga isn’t wasting anytime and is already pulling Ito back to his feet.
SY: Neither one of these guys are letting up a little bit, they realize how important this match is for their careers in Japan.
[Volga hits Ito with a Knife Edged Chop into his throat. The blow knocks Ito down who grabs at his throat. A mild amount of boos are heard from the crowd.]
BC- Stay away from the throat Volga! First warning!
KT: Choi just warned Volga after that chop to Ito’s throat. That still works in Volga’s favor though.
SY: Volga drops an Elbow across the side of Ito’s head! Here’s another cover![He hooks the outside leg.]
[Ito kicks out again, Volga simply pulls him back up to his feet again.]
KT: The SPW Diamond Champion has dominated the past couple of minutes in this match. Some blood is still coming from the wound on his head though.
SY: Ito block the forearm! Go behind….German Suplex! He dropped the bigger Volga right on his shoulders! That should take a lot out of him!
[Excitement is heard from the crowd again as Ito staggers over to the turnbuckles.]
KT: Ito is making his way to the top, this is something we haven’t seen from him throughout the tournament. Volga is a little slow getting back to his feet here, this is giving Ito the opportunity to lock in on him.
[Volga’s back is to Ito as Ito jumps off the top turnbuckles driving his shoulder into Volga’s back knocking him down to the mat.]
SY: Diving Shoulderblock takes Volga down! Ito is throwing everything he can at Volga by using the top rope.[Ito quickly rolls Volga over.]
KT: Here’s the cover![He hooks the outside leg.]
[Volga kicks out, Ito quickly pulls the injured Volga to his feet.]
SY: Ito is right back on the offensive here, neither wrestler has wasted anytime in this match…Ito has Volga hooked up!
[Ito whips Volga over with another Blizzard Suplex drawing some groans from the crowd.]
KT: Here’s the cover again from Ito![He hooks the outside leg.]
SY: Volga got his shoulder up! He still has some life left! It’s going to take a lot to keep either wrestler down.
[Ito takes a deep breath and looks frustrated. He stands up and makes his way to a corner and stretches out his left arm.]
KT: Ito is setting Volga up for his Bakemono Lariat! He almost knocked Travis Cade out with two earlier tonight!
SY: Volga is a little slow getting to his feet here. Ito may have finally been able to wear him down.
[Volga finally gets up to his and Ito charges him. Volga ducks under the Lariat catching Ito.]
KT: Standing Uranagi Slam from Jakob Volga! He countered the Bakemono Lariat! There’s still life left in Volga!
SY: Volga can’t capitalize on the advantage though, he’s had a lot taken out of him here and with his match against Spooky Doom!
[Volga is on a knee as Ito rolls on his back and begins to rise to his feet. The crowd is on the edge of their feet.]
KT: Both of these wrestlers are starting to wear down, this match has already gone past ten minutes and has been extremely physical.
SY: Both are too their feet…Volga whips Ito in the far ropes…Flapjack! That took the air right out of Ito!
[Ito sits up on his knees holding his abdomen with a pained look on his face. Volga fires to his feet quickly throwing a fist into the air. Excitement is heard from the crowd.]
KT: Is Volga going to attempt his Heart Punch!? That’d get him disqualified!
SY: I’m not sure he cares at this point! He just wants to put Ito down!
[Ito gets to his feet, Volga grabs a hold of him and rears back with his right hand.]
KT: Ito dodged the Heart Punch! Russian Legsweep from Ito! Great Counter!
SY: Ito definitely saved himself right there…and here’s the cover.[Ito hooks the far leg.]
[Volga kicks out, excitement is heard from the crowd. Ito pounds the mat and glares over at Choi.]
KI: Three Ref! Three!
BC- Just two Ito!
KT: Ito is getting frustrated and that’s hampering his offense, he can’t take time to argue.
SY: I’m sure Ito is wondering what else he could do to Volga, he’s delivered some hard hitting offense tonight.
[Ito shakes his head for a few moments before pulling to his feet. Ito whips Volga into the far ropes.]
KT: Ito throws himself off the ropes…BAKEMONO LARITOOO!!! Ito drilled Volga right under his chin!
[Excitement is heard from the crowd as Ito quickly crawls over to the down Volga and hooks his leg.]
SY: Ito may have him!
KT: VOLGA GOT HIS SHOULDER UP!!! I’m not even sure how he’s conscious, that Lariat was vicious! Ito almost knocked himself out of the ring!
SY: Ito can’t believe it, neither can most of the people in the crowd. Volga somehow got his shoulder up!
[Ito puts his head on the mat and shakes his head. Choi holds up two fingers, Volga hasn’t moved that much. Kendra looks worried on the outside.]
KT: I’m not sure where Volga pulled that from, but he somehow managed to survive the most vicious Bakemono Lariat of tonight, and we’ve seen some STIFF Lariat’s from Ito too.
SY: Ito is going to have to keep reaching down for something to defeat Volga with. It won’t be an easy task, but he can pull through.
[After a few more moments Ito pulls Volga to his feet, and quickly puts him in a Standing Head Scissors. Excitement is heard from the crowd as they know what’s coming.]
KT: Ito is going for the Ice Age! There’s something that will put Volga down for good! Nobody has ever kicked out of the Ito’s Ice Age!
SY: Volga Back Body Drops Ito over! He avoided the Ice Age!
[Volga drops to a knee as more excitement is heard from the crowd. Ito is quick to get back to his feet, Volga turns around to meet him.]
KT: A kick to the abdomen doubles over Ito…Volga has him set up for a Fisherman’s Buster! He hit it! Volga hit the Fisherman’s Buster!
SY: He dropped Ito right on the back of his neck! The same move that defeated Spooky Doom earlier tonight![Volga flails himself over Ito.]
[Ito throws his shoulder up, a large gasp goes through the arena. As both wrestlers lay on their backs breathing heavily.]
KT: Ito showed his heart right there! He still has something left as well!
SY: This crowd is loud, they know these two have given all that they possibly could in order to win the Spirit’s Glory Tournament!
[Volga starts to stir with Ito a few moments behind him, they begin to crawl to their feet with the crowd applauding both on.]
KT: Volga and Ito are embodying the Spirit’s Glory Tournament, the Spirit they are showing is what makes the NJWF great!
SY: You can tell that both have a lot of pain going through their bodies. They have pounded each other this entire match!
[Volga gets to his feet first followed shortly by Ito. Some blood still rests on Volga’s forehead. He throws out a hard Elbow strike that connects.]
KT: Ito responds to Volga’s strike with a forearm of his own! Volga with another Elbow strike! Ito with a forearm!
SY: Volga with a hard forearm! These two are trading blows right in the center of the ring!
[The crowd gasps as every blow connects, Volga and Ito begin trading hard forearms back in forth to the pleasure of the crowd. Neither wrestler is backing down.]
KT: There’s no quit in either one of these guys, they’re taking each others best shots and still firing back!
SY: An Elbow strike stuns Ito! That hit Ito right over the bridge of his nose! Ito’s nose is bleeding!
[Ito fires back with a forearm right into the wound on Volga’s forehead which backs up.]
KT: Volga avoided an STO attempt…a boot to Ito’s abdomen. Volga’s going for the Brainbuster DANGEROUS!
SY: Volga has him up! He nailed it! Ito got dropped right on the top of his head![Volga throws a near limp arm over Ito’s body.]
KT: Here’ the cover!
[Dojo Students and Ring crew rush into the ring and put ice packs underneath both wrestlers heads as the crowd stands up and claps. Ito looks unconscious, Volga isn’t far better off as the blood is wiped away from both wrestlers. Kendra is in the ring checking on Volga now. Both wrestlers names appear at the bottom of the screen, Volga’s is highlighted signifying the win. 19:56 is above their name signifying the length of the match.]
WK: The Winner and the Spirit’s Glory Tournament Champion…Jakob Volga!
KT: Volga pulled it off! He won the Spirit’s Glory Tournament! Ito was so close, but just couldn’t pull it off!
SY: What a great match that was! It could have went either way.
KT: We still have to present Volga with the Spirit’s Glory trophy and check. We just have to wait for these guys to wake up, their bodies have to be spent after a physically intense match like that.
SY: Volga did what he had to do in order to win, Ito could have very easily won that match. He just couldn’t find a combination that would put Volga away.
[Two ring crew members have Ito on the outside and are helping him the back very slowly. The crowd is still applauding. Volga is up in the ring, a pained grin on his face. The Dojo Students bring in the Spirit’s Glory trophy and check. Kendra is making sure Volga keeps his balance. Michizane Morisue comes into the ring with a microphone. Volga stands behind the Trophy, two Dojo Students hold up the check beside Volga.]
MM: Volga-san, congratulations on your victory in the Spirits Glory Tournament! How does it feel to be the last man standing in this amazing event?
[Volga takes the mic from Morisue's hand, wiping the sweat from his brow with his taped right hand. The fans applaud the winner, and sit back down politely as Volga puts the mic to his mouth.)
HJV: Domoaregato, Japan.
[More polite applause from an appreciative crowd.]
HJV: I want to thank you all for the honor of fighting here in this type of tournament. For allowing me to represent myself and to put myself up to a new challenge for myself.
[The crowd applauds again, still hanging off the amazing match they have just seen.]
HJV: Of course, with the challenges that I was given, it was pretty much a given that I would win this damn thing.
[A confused buzz goes through the crowd.]
HJV:I mean, come on, I fought two men who I beat in less that 5 minutes total. My only major blemish was Spooky Doom, who lucked out by getting me counted out, and you saw what I did to him in the semi finals.
[Some idle boos are heard from the crowd, most of the crowd just seems confused.]
HJV: You could have given me this check, and engraved this trophy from the beginning, and you could have saved yourself some time. But I still thank you the same for letting the Heartless One show off his skills in your wonderful country.
[The crowd still seems confused and can be heard talking with each other, not sure of what to make of Volga.]
HJV: In fact, I love Japan so much, I am SURE you will be seeing more of Kendra and I. COUNT ON IT.
[Volga hands the mic back to Morisue, who simply looks confused. Volga grabs the check from the Dojo Students and hands it to Kendra, he takes trophy and hoists it above his head, he has a cocky grin on his face as he walks around the ring. The scene fades to NJWF TV.]
