1- "Kuro Neko" Achika Akatani and newest NEWF women's signee
[The mid afternoon sun beats down on this nameless city far hotter than it has any right to be in the middle of October. There should be a slight chill to the air, a breeze. The only person around who seems to enjoy it is a young Japanese girl. Her hair is brown where the light strikes it, glowing all most in the sun, but in the shade it looks more like black.
She walks along the street with her hands thrust in her pockets, a small smile on her face. Humming a slow and unrecognizable tune she stops by the stairs to a subway station, they're boarded up and blocked off with chains padlocked in an X across the boards. Signs all over the boards say "CLOSED UNTIL JANUARY 2009."
The girl takes her bag off her back, sliding the straps down her well toned arms that imply hours and hours at the gym. Her three-quarters long shirt shows off a flat stiff stomach. It's obvious the woman is an athlete. She reaches into her backpack and pulls out a small leather pouch. Looking around she see's no one noticing her.]
WOMAN: I love America.
[She opens the pouch and pulls out two slim metal tools. They go into the padlock and in just a few moments it pops free. She pockets it and lets the chain gently down to the ground to not attract attention. Next she pulls out a small cat's paw prybar and begins pulling out nails. It doesn't take her very long. Perhaps three minutes total work, though multiple times she has to stop and look innocuous for people more interested than the rest of the busy city folk who zoom along not even glancing her direction. She then pulls the board loose and squeezes through the opening.
Down the stairs she jogs and into the station. It's under construction and looks like something plowed through one of it's walls. The rubble blocks off one end of the train tunnel and has destroyed a couple pillars. There's still a soda machine here, it even has power. The woman walks over to it and reaches into her pocket for change.]
V: Wait, allow me.
[Another young woman steps into view.
"Poison Bliss" Myra Benedict.
Though quite tall herself, she is a couple inches and a few pounds smaller than the as-of-yet unnamed woman. Myra is dressed from head to toe in a solid black jumpsuit, complete with an assortment of pockets in various shapes and sizes. She rounds out her gear with matching black boots on her feet. Her wavy dark brown hair with its natural red highlights falls down around her shoulders, framing her face. A jagged scar snakes down her left cheek, from just under the eye down to her jawline.
Myra reaches into one pocket and produces a key. After quickly unlocking the vending machine, she pries its front open, displaying a good selection of carbonated drinks and water. After surveying the selection briefly, she steps aside and gestures towards the machine.]
PBMB: Take your pick.
[The woman nods approval and chuckles quietly. She steps back up to the machine and opens her bag, she starts filling it full of bottles of water until she can barely close the zipper. Then she takes a bottle of Sprite and opens it up, taking a quick drink.]
WOMAN: It's nice to 'finary' meet you. Moira has told me so much.
[Myra simply nods in response.]
PBMB: And she's told me you've been a fine student. How have you liked working with HItomi?
[It's now safe for those who have read up on Japanese wrestling to assume that this is Achika Akatani. One half of KOKORO's Blood Angels. One of the few people from GRANITE to not take a buy out from NEWF and instead honor their contract and decide to compete. You can hear her struggling with her accent as she speaks more and for longer periods of time at once.]
ACHIKA: I have enjoyed it 'vely' much. We fit each other perfectly. It's too bad we have not yet been able to win our titles with the 'srow' down of KOKORO shows. But it is also good to be relying on myself 'onry' again. It is like old times.
[Myra smirks, understanding where Achika is coming from.]
PBMB: I know well what that is like. Moira and I only worked together for a short time. Allies are a highly valuable asset. But at the same time, I personally relish in the opportunity to challenge myself by overcoming insurmountable odds on my own. Makes you know who you truly are, what you're truly capable of. Wouldn't you agree?
[Achika nods, taking another sip from her soda.]
ACHIKA: Of course... What two can do, one cannot.
[Having no further use for it, Myra tosses the vending machine key down into a pile of rubble, before turning back towards Achika.]
PBMB: Only if those two are not weak. Which I know isn't the case with Kindred: Japan. Well... except for perhaps Townsend, to some extent. But my mentor Darrin Kisler and I are well aware of her limitations. But tell me... has Moira yet encouraged you to seek potential targets for spreading Absolution?
[Achika looks a little uncomfortable and shrugs her shoulders a bit.]
ACHIKA: She's talked to me about it a lot, but not so much about what it means. So sometimes I think I know how, but other times I am confused. I thought perhaps I would bring it to Nina Grimsson, but... Isn't it a gift? Can you give a gift to someone you hate?
[Myra smirks fiendishly, pleased with Achika's curiosity.]
PBMB: It is a gift, but one that can only be given to certain people who have potential. You can't turn a Pinto into a Ford Mustang. You can put a Mustang engine into it, but it will still be a Pinto. The same is true for prospective targets for Absolution. You can turn a weak child into a warmongering child, but she'll still be weak, and you'll have wasted precious time. Better to choose the strong, and build upon them.
[She pauses for a beat.]
PBMB: Nina Grimsson was born strong, and is even now ready for Absolution. She just hasn't accepted it yet. And if they are strong, don't hesitate to spread Absolution to those you hate.
[Achika leans against the wall next to the soda machine and slides down to the ground, resting her arms on her knees. She scrunches up her face, obviously mulling over what Myra's said. Finally she looks up and replies.]
ACHIKA: That makes some thing Moira said, make a lot more sense. I think I see things much more 'crealy' now. I think I know who else will join us. If I just 'apploach' her 'light'.
[Myra smiles now, which is a pretty rare occasion at that. She leans up against a stump of a pillar, gazing down at her close friend's pupil.]
PBMB: Always keep an eye out for those. They aren't very common, but you don't want to miss them either. Some you must kill with kindness to attain your goals. Others... they need much more violent provocation. Trick is figuring out which works best each time.
[Achika nods and takes another drink from her soda.]
ACHIKA: I will make my move on Explosion. I will show Nina we aren't done yet. And I will introduce the other to our concept of 'rife'. She will take finesse. But that is what I am best at in the 'ling'. I think I can do it with my words as well.
PBMB: Moira's done well with you; though I knew she would. I'd like to hear your plan of attack though, if you'd like to tell it.
[Achika rises to her feet and laughs a short dry chuckle. Hefting her backpack up onto her shoulders she sets the half
full sprite on the top of the soda machine.]
ACHIKA: Maybe next time.
[She begins walking towards the stairs to leave. Fade to black.]
2- Rich Andrews
[The camera opens up on a tattoo, the Kanji sign for Aries [if you don't know it now, you'll learn it soon enough.] and the camera continued moving up to show the face of Rich Andrews as he stood looking side-ways towards the camera. A hand came up and casually stroked his partial beard as he face seemed to be deep in thought.]
Andrews: So my first night in a new fed and I'm fighting for the right for a title, yet again. Last time I was in the ring was over two months ago. I admit I may have some ring rust, but it's not enough to make me worry. The only thing that does worry me is I don't know who the three guys facing me are, as I'm sure they don't know who I am either. So it's going to be touch and go at the beginning, but then.. well, you boys will just discover what technical ability and high flying amounts to in that ring.
[Andrews stepped back, this time turning around the face the camera.]
Andrews: Of course I'm going to talk a big game, I'm a small fish coming into a very large pond. I'm at the bottom of the barrel and I have to work my way up. I'm still new to the American wrestling scene, for those who don't know, I've wrestled mainly in Mexico for the last few years until a few months ago. So yeah, I've got to talk a big game until I prove to the fans and the other boys that I'm a good wrestler and can handle my own.
So lets recap.
I'm a small fish in a big pond,
I'm the only person without a title added to his name,
and I'm fighting for a title my first night on the show.
[Andrews just looked awkwardly to the camera.]
Andrews: What more is there to say really?
[Fade to black.]
3- 'Nuff Said
(Scene opens with David Lowry standing in front of a backdrop showcasing the NEWF Hot Copy logo)
Lowry: Good evening NEWF fans around the world. I have a great exclusive interview for you tonight. As you know on the upcoming edition of Explosion, NEWF will be showcasing the tag team division in a special match between former ICWF World Tag Champs, The Rossis and my guests right now....
("Kamikazee" Keith and "Suicidal" Steve of 'Nuff Said walk into the camara's view both wearing blue jeans and NEWF Explosion T-Shirts)
Lowry: Please welcome Keith and Steve, 'Nuff Said. Welcome to the show.
Keith: Thanks Dave, it's great to be here.
Lowry: Guys this Monday on Explosion, you have a great oppurtunity to make your mark in NEWF.
Steve: That's right, Keith and myself are gonna walk into that ring and show that we can handle any other team the NEWF wants to throw our way.
Keith: Dave, it doesn't matter if it's The Rossis, The Cartel the Crazed Animals, some amish guys, some Mexican guys, some bodybuilders...
Steve: That's right, 'Nuff Said is going to Explosion Saturday night and showing the world that we mean business. It's goign to be on like donkey kong!
Steve and Keith: 'Nuff Said!!!
[The guys walk off, leaving Lowry alone in the interview area.]
Lowry: There you have it! 'Nuff Said is ready to take on the best any league has to offer! I hop those boys know what they are asking for!
4- "Heavy Metal Hero" Erik Grimsson
[The camera cuts to a street corner somewhere in an unnamed American inner city. Here, we find a tanned, dark haired beauty dressed in a tight fur jacket, a tan mini skirt, and leather boots. On her head, she wears a fur winter hat, her long dark hair cascading down her back underneath. In her left hand, she brandishes a microphone. Next to her stands a young man dressed in a pair of ripped and faded camoflauge pants, a black "Bal Sagoth- Sigil of War" longsleeve t-shirt, and black Nike amateur wrestling shoes. On his head, he wears a worn and faded blue University of Michigan baseball cap with the signature maize M on the front, with his long blonde hair worn down and straight underneath. The two are notciably close together, with the woman's right hand on the man's shoulder. Behind them is a building with a sign that reads "Machinegun McCready's Boxing Gym", adding to the flavor of the area, in front of them, a very out of place Lexus sedan.]
Dyan: Hello, NEWF fans! This is Dyan Cicarelli coming to you from Detroit, Michigan. With me now is NEWF competitor and one of the Motor City's favorite sons, "Heavy Metal Hero" Erik Grimsson. Erik, what exactly brings you to the NEWF and what do you hope to accomplish?
Erik: I'm here for one reason and that's to fight. To face off against new challengers and test my mettle. And I can't think of a better way then to be throwing down against three opponents who I know nothing of.
Dyan: I see. And why is someone as good looking as you even in the sport of pro wrestling, when you could easily be making millions in Hollywood or modeling in swimsuit calenders?
[Erik's eyes widen as he seems more then a bit surprised at the question. However, trying his best to be courteous, he attempts to answer as best he can.]
Erik: Well... my family has always had a proud tradition of being warriors, pugilists and soldiers. Also, growing up in this neighborhood and on these streets, you had to be tough. There was just no alternative. This gym behind us is where I learned to do that. Where the foundation was set by the gym's owner, Ezzard McCready, who was not only my boxing coach, but life mentor. Ezzard instilled a toughness in me that is second to none, as well as a love of fighting.
[At this moment, Dyan moves even closer to Erik and starts to rub and squeeze on his left arm with her right hand.]
Dyan: Well, that just seems like a waste, because you really are GQ material. And it would just break my heart to such a handsome face get blemished in the ring. Especially in a match as chaotic as the one you'll be in.
[Erik is now visibly shocked as he cannot believe what he's just heard, as well as the fact that his interviewer is borderline caressing him.]
Erik: Are you being serious? I live for this kind of stuff. A chaotic brawl is one of my favorite things to be involved in. The only thing that I think kind of sucks is that I'm restricted by the rules. I'd kill for no DQ and falls count anywhere stips.
[Erik now tucks some of his hair behind his left ear, revealing a long scar going from his left eyebrow, curving down his cheek, and ending at the tip of his chin.]
Erik: On top of that, why would I worry about any other blemishes on my face when I already have this one?
[Dyan is caught a bit by surprise, but then seems to be even more enthralled.]
Dyan: Wow! You're the first person I've ever seen with such an angelic face, yet with such a ruggedly handsome feature as that scar gives you. You really have a truly distiguishing, captivating look.
[Dyan has now moved her hand from Erik's left arm to his right shoulder and has moved from rubbing, squeezing and borderline caressing into the realm of full on massaging and fondling.]
Dyan: I mean you could be an idol...
[At this point, Erik has clearly had enough.]
Erik: Dude...what the hell are you doing?!
[Dyan looks surprised as she is just brought crashing back down to earth.]
Dyan: I was just...
Erik: No, stop right there. Look, I didn't agree to this interview to talk about my looks, my body, what an angelic face with ruggedly handsome features I have, or being a model or an idol. I sure as hell didn't take it to be groped on national TV. I agreed to do it so I could talk about burying my fist into Rich Andrew's eye socket. About splitting Billy McGraw's head open with my own. About the chance shatter Chad Allen's ribs by using him as a heavy bag. That's what I'm here to discuss.
[Dyan looks like a little girl who just had her favorite christmas present broken by the neighborhood bully. She now removes her hand from Erik and bursts into tears.]
Dyan: I was just trying to be friendly...
[It is now Erik's turn to snap back to reality and put on the defensive. Making the interviewer cry was certainly not what he wanted to do. He puts a caring arm around Dyan's shoulder trying to coax her out of her tears.]
Erik: Whoah, easy. Look, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to snap at you like that. It's just that...
Dyan: It's me, isn't it? You don't like me, do you?
Erik: No! That's not it at all.
[Erik takes a deep breath. He clearly is about to go into territory he doesn't want to.]
Erik: Look, It's not you, it's me. I've just had a run of really bad luck with overly flirtatious girls recently. You just caught me unprepared is all.
Dyan: Awww...what happened? I mean, I'm sure our viewers would be very interested...
[Erik lowers and shakes his head, almost embarassed to talk about it.]
Erik: The last girl tackled me down a flight of stairs and nearly gave me a concussion. And I don't even want to talk about what happened afterwards.
[Dyan moves a bit closer again, and feeling a bit better, she embraces Erik in a warm hug.]
Dyan: Ohhh...that's terrible. Someone as cute as you deserves to be treated better then that.
[Erik chcukles a bit, now having grown use to Dyan's tendencies, he returns the hug.]
Erik: Well, that's another discussion for another time. Point is, it didn't happen here and it wasn't you who did it. So again, I apologize for lashing out.
Dyan: Oh, I think I can find it in my heart to forgive you.
Erik: Well, I appreciate your forgiveness, Dyan. Anyway, I've gotta head inside and work out a bit. Ezzard will kill me if I miss a session.
Dyan: I understand, sweetie. Maybe I'll see you at the show.
[With that, Erik heads into the gym as Dyan gets into the Lexus as the camera fades out.]
5- Summer Blake
Voice: So, this is what happened.
[The scene opens at the home of Summer Blake. More specifically, her bedroom. The young woman is clad in a white, tank top and pink, Juicy Couture, sweat bottoms. She's sitting Indian-style atop her bed, facing the camera, a twinkle in her brown eyes.]
Summer: A couple of months ago, I had gotten this great opportunity to wrestle for this organization called GRANITE. I figured it'd be awesome for me. After all, it had been a while since the last time I'd actually wrestled and that was back in the NAWC. Plus, this would give me the chance to see Europe and wrestle against some top competition. I couldn't lose, right?
Summer: Yeah, that's what I thought too, until the place closed down. Luckily, just as I was about to hit the Want Ads again, a savior appeared in the form of NEWF. See, they bought out GRANITE and gave all of its wrestlers the chance to sign on-board. And, since my door wasn't exactly being banged on with job offers, I jumped at the chance and I'm pretty damned glad that I did too.
[Summer grabs a rubber band and proceeds to pull her long, black hair back and fasten it into a ponytail.]
Summer: Checking out the roster, I'm pleased to see a ton of talent in all of the divisions, and I look forward to testing myself against the chicks, which I guess will be sooner rather than later, since I'm taking part in the big six ladies tag match at the first show.
It's going to be pretty interesting too. I'm actually familiar with two of my opponents from my GRANITE days. Nina Grimsson always seemed cool, while I didn't particularly care for Achika Akatani. In fact, Nina didn't care too much about her either, if I remember correctly, so I'm eager to see how they function as a team. As far as Josie Saito goes, I know that she's been around for a while and is pretty tough. So, I know that my partners and I have our hands full.
But I think we'll be able to handle things, if we come with the right attitude. I can't speak for Akira or Kyra, but I know that I won't be taking this one lightly and am aiming to win. There are many ways I want to begin this new start, but one of them certainly isn't with a loss.
[She hops off of the bed and stands to her feet, folding her arms across her chest.]
Summer: So, ladies, make sure you get your asses in gear, because I'll certainly be ready. I didn't do all of this training and prepare myself for nothing. And as far as our opponents go, well, they better bring everything that they've got too, 'cause if any of them expects an easy night? Well, it'll be one of the biggest mistakes of their careers.
Summer: See ya at Explosion, girls.
6- "Jester" Chad Allen
Boredom can be a horrible thing you know...
(A single male voice speaks to us. We do not see at this time who exactly it IS, since we are in what we can only deduce as being a room with very little light. In fact the only light in this room seems to be one single dim bulb, swinging lazily on a cord from the ceiling. In the shadows it casts, we only get peeks of things, an arm here, a bit of a knee there. We slowly creep closer into the room, investigating a bit, seeing if we can learn more of our speaker.)
Idle hands are the devil's plaything they say, and up until recently, my hands have been VERY idle indeed. I thought retirement would be fun, maybe a cruise, see the world. I thought I might enter the World Series of Poker, try to make the final table. Or maybe I would take a pottery class, anything to keep my hands from being so damn idle.
(An idle hand swings and hits the light bulb. The swinging becomes wild now, we see more, but not really. We get a glimpse of wild colored hair, pale white skin, an upper arm covered with scars.)
But that didn't work. Nothing truly satisfied the devil, and the devil's work that needs to be done. So you know what I said? I said, "Jest, old boy, you gotta get back out there and get back on that proverbial horse!" So here I am...
(A hand reaches up and grabs the bulb to a jarring stop. The hand pulls the bulb right by our speakers face, showing garishly painted black and white clown paint, purple dyed hair, and the eyes of the true "Hardcore GOD" Jester Chad Allen. A small, evil, chuckle leaves his mouth as he continues...)
Like Nicholson said in "The Shining" Heeeeeere's JOHNNY! No more sitting by the wayside. No more idle hands. I plan on entering that ring, looking across to the 3 men I have to fight in my first match back in oh so many years, and I plan on extending my hand in friendship. Then I am gonna use it to SHAKE YOUR F**KING NECKS!! No more pretenders to the throne, it is time for the real deal to step forward and reclaim the crown. The crown that was forged in title belt gold, and washed in non-believers blood. I will have you ALL FALL TO YOUR KNEES AND BOW TO THE HARDCORE GOD!
(The Jester stops, takes a deep breath and smiles...)
I have been waiting for so long to get that out. Doctor always said I had too much aggression. I can't wait to show you all HOW much.
(The Jester begins to laugh his loud, evil, telltale laugh as he sends the light bulb swinging again. The shadows in the room begin to swirl around us as we hear the "Wicked Clown of Wrestling" say one last thing...)
The Jester is coming...Run for your lives...
(And a fist smashes into the bulb like a punching bag, shattering glass everywhere and putting us into total darkness.)
7- "The Revolution" Josie Saito
[The scene opens to Central Park in New York, the sun peeking from behind the clouds. It's a brisk afternoon, the camera catching sight of various joggers and passersby. But our attention is drawn to one individual in particular, a raven haired, Asian woman, strolling along.]
[Upon closer inspection, she is revealed as "The Revolution" Josie Saito, a face familiar to KAWF fans.]
[The slender woman wears a black, calf-length coat, open to reveal an ivory blouse and black, pencil skirt. She also wears a pair of heels, her long, black tresses blowing in the breeze. She appears oblivious to her surroundings, her brown eyed gaze fixed on the camera.]
Josie: People always ask me, when will enough be enough?
[She shakes her head.]
Josie: After years in this business, I've literally seen and done it all. Gone from challenger to champion. Been heralded as the "second coming" and then tarnished in disgrace, only to rise again like the proverbial phoenix from the ashes. I've had my body broken and spirit corrupted. Yet, I just can't seem to stay away. Many have wondered why I keep coming back to a business that's lately offered me little in return.
It's because it needs me.
I look around at what this business has become and it sickens me. Nothing more than unmotivated, do-nothing fools that desire nothing more than a paycheck and fame. Where is the drive? The passion? The commitment? I have no idea, but it certainly isn't in any wrestling ring that I've stepped in or opponent I've faced lately. And if you doubt me, just take a look at the women I will be facing at Explosion.
Josie: They're nothing more than yet another grouping of witless pretenders that have no idea what they're in for. Summer Blake? Akira Shumasita? [She makes a face] Spare me. And my partners? I'm expecting better, but you will excuse me if I don't get my hopes up. All they need do is show up anyway and stay out of my way. The rest? I can more than handle myself.
You see, I've spent my career destroying every obstacle that's been in my way. Male. Female. Hell, I even left my own sister and father nearly decimated. And I, quite honestly, don't see anything changing with this rag tag team of women. Just like everyone else, I will dispatch of them too.
Josie: It's fortunate that the NEWF was smart enough to sign a wrestler of my caliber because, from the looks of things, they're going to need all of the help that they can get, if this current crop is any indication. It would be refreshing to find legitimate competition here, someone to truly test me, but I doubt that will occur. They just don't seem to make them like they used to.
[She stops walking, placing her hands on her hips.]
Josie: It's truly saddening to see the business I grew up in, the one I love, lowered like this. But it's about to be turned on its head. You see, a wind is blowing in the NEWF. It's bringing change.
It's bringing a revolution.
[Fade to black.]
8- "Mockingbird" Nina Grimsson
[We are taken to the heart of Tokyo, Japan. Here, we find a large, very traditional Japanese building. As we enter and catch a view from the inside, we see several training mats and racks with many weapons; ranging from traditional Japanese weapons such as the katana and tetsubo, to European weapons like the viking longsword and the German zweihander, and even modern day firearms such as the Springfield XD .45 pistol and the Barrett M468
Assault rifle. There are allso various free weights, weigtht machines, heavy bags, speed bags, striking and grappling dummies, and three wooden men striking posts. On the center mat in the room, we find a young woman stretching in a full splits. She wears a pair of ripped and faded white jeans with iron cross designs printed on them, a black "Motorhead- Iron Fist" tanktop, black Nike amateur wrestling shoes and black kicking pads. She also has both hands wrapped in white tape and wears her long, black hair down and straight. One of the toughest to fight on the battlefield of women's wrestling, this is "Mockingbird" Nina Grimsson. Nina looks up, noticing the camera, and flashes a friendly smile that certainly does not fit her fearsome reputation.]
Nina: This is where it all began, all those years ago. Akira Khan's HELLFIRE Dojo. This is where I started my journey, where the foundation was first laid. Fifteeen years old, just out of high school, I left my hometown of Detroit, Michigan to compete here overseas in Akira's fed, BLAZE, and train with her here in the dojo.
[Nina leans forward from her splits, able to effortlessly lay down flat on the mat, her arms fully extended. After about 25 seconds, she pulls herself back up, facing the camera once again.]
Nina: Without a doubt, the biggest, scariest, and most risky decision I had ever made. But also, the most important and the best decision. As hard as it was, and believe me, there were times when I thought I was going to drop dead and there were times that I absolutely despised Akira, it really paid off dividends. I got stronger and tougher, both physically and mentally.
[Nina now leans to her left, leaning down on her left leg, grabbing her foot with both hands. Once again fully extended and once again effortlessly. She holds her stretch once again for 25 seconds, then does the same on the right side. After finishing, she returns her smile to the camera.]
Nina: With that in mind, every time I join a new promotion, Akira always allows me to make my way back here, to renew my focus, resolves, and intensity. I have her put me back through the ringer, so that my edge is honed razor sharp, because you never know when a situation arises that you might need it. A situation like the one I'm in on NEWF Explosion is one of those situations.
[Nina's smile turns into a dark glare.]
Nina: Let's just say that explosion is a fitting word, when you consider the potential powder keg of me teaming with Achika Akatani. Anybody who knows anything about either of us definitely knows how much of each others blood we've spilled in Japan and in Scotland. Well, I have a very funny feeling that Indianapolis will be added to the tour in a few days. And you know what, I'm not even opposed to it. Hell, the more I think about it, the more I like the idea of it. Then there's my other partner, Josie Saito. Josie, I don't loathe you the same way I do Achika, but your sister Angel is my friend, which makes you absolute scum to me. I'm sure the feeling is mutual, so let's just try to stay out of each other's way. Because I'm warning you, if you get in my face, I'll start swinging at you just as quickly as I would Achika.
[Nina pushes herself up out of the splits and of the mat and now heads over to one of the wooden men, hitting it with various combinations from several angles.]
Nina: However, a word of advice to my opponents. Don't be fooled into thinking that just because Achika and I will very likely be trying to disembowel each other, means that you're going to be able to get the drop on me for the easy win. Or that I'll even let you get the win by beating Achika. I plan on being a winner in this match, and will do anything I can to make that happen. Summer, I know you know this and will be ready. Akira and Kyra, I highly recommend that you follow Summer's example. Because if you don't, you're in for one hell of a bad night.
[Nina continues hitting the wooden man with combinations, and we are left with the very audible sounds of flesh and bone cracking against wood as the camera fades out.]
