Aly was quite happy as she lead the way to the general store. There was a god amount of things she needed to get, but only had enough money to get a few. It wasn't proper for her to carry so much money if she wasn't going to go to the store right away, or if she wasn't going to go at all. That wasn't much of a problem though because she didn't need everything right at the moment. As they approached the general store, Aly thought about what she needed at the time. She needed a new bag to carry supplies for treating wounded soldiers in the battles that were happening while she was with her father. After all, it wasn't permitted for women to fight. They were nurses and took care of the soldiers. She fought a little, but not that often. That was because her father was a general after all. She also needed some bread since supplies were running short. Plus, she needed to get a new pot, bucket, or basket (preferably a basket) to carry medicines in. That she could get easily. "I'll be out in a minute." she told the boy as she turned and walked into the store. She realized she hadn't even caught the boy's name. She wanted to get that... She got all she needed and put in the bag. She payed for everything, then went back out. She slung her bag over her shoulder, and looked around the crowd for the boy.

Aly smiled at him. She gladly handed over her bags which only consisted of come ginger, a little cloth, a new needle, and a spool of thread. Only, that was just one bag. The other bag carried new spice tins, that weren't made out of tin. They were made of sturdy iron that was painted a light silver color. They had a special finish on them so they wouldn't rust. The bag wasn't as heavy as it could be, but the canvas was stretching. How did she get canvas? Well she always carried her canvas bags. One was trimmed with red and the other with blue. They each had her initials embroidered into them in red or blue. The canvas was sturdy, but with too much weight, like a new iron skillet, you had to double them so they wouldn't tear.
"Thank you," she began politely, "I guess I owe you a tour of the docks?" she joked lightly, "Although I hate to make you carry those all over..." she added as she slid past him and looked around outside for someone who knew her father who she may be able to bribe into taking her bags back to her house. She saw someone familiar and turned to gently take the bags back. She slowly walked over to the person slid a few coins into his hand and mumbled the address of her home. The man took off in the direction she had said to go. Everyone knew where General Scott's house was, but she wanted to make sure he got there.
She turned back to the pirate (since she still didn't know his name), and gave one of her famous smile shrugs. Everyone knew what it was, except for pirates of course, but then again, all they knew was how to hurt people and who she was.
"Well then. Shall we begin?" she offered, referring to his asking for a tour earlier. She looked up at the sky and saw that the sun was getting closer to the horizon line. Of course in the summertime, the days were long and hot. She figured that showing him the small custom shops were a good idea, and then perhaps the beach. Of course by the time the entire town was covered, it would already be evening. But by that time, no more kids would be left on the beach. They would all be home for supper. She then realized that she didn't tell anyone how long she'd be gone. That may be a problem if she wasn't home soon.
"Although I suppose it would make sense to start on that side of town." she began pointed to the side of the village that had her HUGE house. She began to slowly walk towards it. "And I need to let my mother know that I'm going out for a while." she added, and stepped off glancing back to make sure he would follow.
