Below you will find a list of common questions that have been constructed by the admin team. These questions were originated by prior inquisition, would think to ask if we where members, or feel should be answered for you. Please, by all means, if we haven't covered something you feel is important to know, ask away in our designated Admin Question section and we shall answer to the best of our ability, and may even add to here so that your question can help future members. Thank you.--------------- ~ ------------------ just what is Invidiare?Glad you asked. Invidiare is an original board idea that is set within a prestigious boarding school, comprising of students from the ages of seventeen [17] to twenty-Three [23]; therefore, focusing on the last two years of a senior high school education and what would be the following years of College/University education. The title for each student does depend on how old they are. If they are seventeen [17], they would be a First Year student, eighteen [18] a Second Year student, and so on and so forth. Please note that Students that are 17 and 18 are considered to be studying in their final year of High School based courses so not all of the classes and lectures will be available to them just yet. where is Cedar Creek Academy set / located ? Cedar Creek Academy and the Village of Cedar Creek is a fictional place created by us the Admins. However, the country that it is situated in? England; the town, while fictional, is located in Yorkshire country. While Cedar Creek would be described as a small town it is actually rather large in size and quiet diverse in the places around it and of course in the township, giving off a sense of being somewhat eerie and out in the middle of nowhere a world of its own per say. The Academy however is located outside of the town, on the other side of the large lake, therefore making it a decent walk that would not be for the faint of heart to walk around via road instead of traveling via boat. The school, while not being hidden, is barely visible from the shoreline of Baron Harbour, adding to its mysterious appeal. The school is set on a large expanse of highly well kept gardens and is comprised of two large old buildings linked in the middle and by an expanse of various hallways and stairs. can i do signature requests ? By all means let us know and we will set up a request forum for you, please keep in mind though that should you go a month without a request or filling a request for a member that has posted in your forum, the forum will be moved to archives and we will simply ask you to respond if anyone requests any graphics.. is there any chance of me being able to become a part of the staff here at Indiviare? I'd love to help. Unfortunately no. While we find the offer of help flattering, we tend to choose our staffs by previous performances or prior experience; thus making requests for a position on the staff limited to none. If we do find the need to solicit help, we shall advertise, but for the moment no thank you. i have a huge plot that I wish to do; can I? Within reason. First, I would ask that you approach the idea to an administrator here so that they can then discuss it amongst the staff. If all goes well, then you may proceed with your plot idea, but please bare in mind that we don't want wild and over the top plots running around the board. We greatly encourage plots and plotting amongst other members, however, we reserve the right to turn down elaborate plots that we feel are inappropriate for this board and its purposes. Why am I only allowed to have one character per account, and a total maximum of three? This is for a few reasons, really. Some of which even us as admins are guilty of. We tend to find that not enough people are establishing characters once they create them. And those that don't tend to take off as fast as other get left behind while the user creates another in place but keeps the other. It tends to lead to a mixture of inactivity and dormant characters; neither of which we want. So we have picked these numbers as a more manageable ideal number. Ono per account is for one reason only: we tend to find it is both neater and easier to remember for members. Can I create a non-college related adult character? Yes and no. We are trying to limit adult characters right now so we can build up on the student population. So, for now, majority of adult characters will be played as NPCs. However should you have a good idea for an adult please contact us via private message, and we will provide you with the appropriate application. In saying that we aren't accepting, we do encourage any good plots and creative characters; so please, by all means, contact us ASAP about the applications. more coming soon
