That is one nice looking iggy. Are you sure it's a female? It looks like a full blown male to me. But they're all different. I have a male that looks like a female. lol. Either way, that's a great cage. Was it custom made?

How big is she? That's a really big one. It's nice to see one made it to adulthood with the same owner!!

to tell you the truth its not impossible that iggy is a male i dont really no as i have a hard time looking cause iggy gets mad if i try to look and i tryed to have a friend look but then i couldnt find my book to have him tell me which picture it looked like and no one will hold iggy so i can check and iggy hasnt been to a vet to have them check either so im not sure. so its not impossible anyway you look at it. but me and my dad made the cage one weekend it didnt take long to make

Ok. If you haven't had it DNA sexed to prove it's a female or something, then I'm almost 100% positive it's a male. That would explain the nastiness. Males can be a handful as far as all that goes. Especially during the breeding season, which happens to be right now.
That's a neat cage. I built mine too, although it's not so fancy as yours. -------------------- |

One more thing...I was wondering if you would mind if I used Iggy's pic as an example of a male ig. I'm trying to make a "Sexing Green Iguanas" pinned topic. I can get good photos of a female ig withmy Anna, but Angelo doesn't have those heavy jowls and big spines like Iggy does because he was stunted with his previous owners. (Don't tell him I told you so.
