Black Terry/El Signo/Negro Navarro v. Solar/Super Astro/Ultraman FLRR 3/21
Really fun stuff, the Solar v. Navarro section were great as always (there was a sick looking one leg tapatia by Navarro which was especially awesome), but we also got some really fun interactions with everyone else. Signo is having a comeback 2010, as this is the second match in a row in which he has looked great. I think this is better then either of the two 2009 matches between the teams. Pretty cool that this showed up. |

Rey Hechicero v. Califan Rockero I Mask v. Hair FLRR 3/21
Took a while to get going, but the last ten minutes or so was really great. Hechicero is a guy who rarely shows up, but I always really dig (his 1/08 match against Valiente was a hidden classic). He really breaks out some wacky as fuck submissions here, and cool spots (I loved the hammerlock spinning quebradora). Could have used some blood or some more violent brawling, but I liked this a bunch |

I thought this was fucking awesome actually. Maybe I was just shocked at how much I liked it, but on initial viewing it came across as a top ten match for the year. |

Turbo/Konami vs Black Fire/Black Thunder - 3/22/10, PDM
Man, this needed more dives. Was I not paying attention or was there only one Turbo dive to the outside (the backflip)? Check this out if you enjoy watching back crackers and Chikara level rope running exchanges. |

Estrellita/Skayde vs Medusa/Cerebro Negro - 4/5/10, PDM
I thought this was fun, although I'll admit I skipped over a few of the Estrellita/Medusa exchanges. Cerebro Negro's usually the fifth or sixth best worker in an IWRG trios, but he was clearly the best wrestler here. His brawling was pretty intense, he easily kept up with Skayde and he came across as a sleazy, unemployed wife beater whenever he was in the ring with Estrellita. The dives were disappointing, Skayde didn't get much distance on his moonsault and almost embarrassed himself while the female dives were really weak - something you'd expect to see from Manami Toyota. |

Trauma I and II vs Violento Jack and Aero Boy DTU 4/18/10
Pretty much a tale of two matches. First half was all Trauma mat work and wacky submissions which they do well. Jack and Aero boy were ok but you could tell they were trained by Lider and Crazy Boy. The second half saw the partners turn on each other and it turned into a 4 way. That was pretty decent too. |

El Apache v. Skyde DTU 4/18/10
This had some nice Skyde moments (I especially loved his bridge counters), but I was pretty disappointed in Apache here. All those years in AAA have kind of made him unable to work this kind of maestro match. Also if DTU is going to run this kind of match, they need to get rid of the fucking barbed wire as that dragged the match to a standstill. Skippable. |

Negro Navarro/Mr Tempets/Spectrum vs Solar/Ruby Gardenia/el Hijo de Rey Misterio 11/29/09
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytiZi-uJ1Bg This is only the third fall, but is pretty fun stuff. I am assuming Solar and Navarro did their thing in the first fall, because we get a long Navarro v. Gardenia mat section here that is pretty sweet, Solar also matches up with the other two rudos. Navarro man |

Negro Navarro/Black Terry/Villano IV v. Blue Panther/Ultimo Dragon/Olimpico UWE 4/24
You want this match to deliver long Panther v. Navarro matwork and the match delivers long Panther v. Navarro matwork, a mix of very fast counters and cool struggles over holds. I really dug the long struggle over the cross armbreaker. Terry v. Olimpico was okay in the first fall, but this was the maestro show. |

Phil, that was one of the best matches I have seen in a long time. I really dig that style, and Navarro vs. Panther was tremendous. The fans made it rain too, so it was at the very least "must see".

Blue Demon Jr./Cien Caras Jr. v. Rayman/El Hijo Del Santo 4/17
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3O3uoSKlnaA Pretty fun stuff, this is probably the best Santo v. Demon stuff I can remember seeing. At no point did Demon looked smoked, and some of their matwork was pretty sweet. Santo hit all of his stuff like Santo. Rayman was pretty great too, I liked all of his back topes and had a huge dive. |

Black Terry/Negro Navarro/Villano IV vs. Ultimo Dragon/Blue Phanter/Olimpico, UWE 4/24/10
Blue Panther vs Negro Navarro did not disappoint. Was it Ohtani's Jacket who said Blue Panther's over the hill? I thought Panther looked a little more agile than Navarro and he did a slightly better job reversing holds. Black Terry's work with Olimpico was better than expected, really dug a couple of his counters (armbar -> roll-up, smoothly escaping a stretch and then locking in one of his own). Ultimo Dragon's one of my least favorite workers in the world and everything he did here was boring at best. Overall a really good trios. |

El Apache v. Skyde - DTU 4/18/10
Really unspirited effort. Matwork came across as RVD v. Jerry Lynnish which is never good. match seemed to go on forever as well. This wasn't horrible and there were a few things that were quality, but this would have been the third best match on last weeks Superstars. Negro Navarro/Black Terry/Villano IV v. Blue Panther/Ultimo Dragon/Olimpico - UWE 4/24 I really liked this a lot. Terry was awesome in his exchanges with Olimpico to the point where I thought he outshined both Panther and Navarro. That's not a knock on either of them as they were a lot of fun here as well. Ultimo is someone I don't care for at all but his involvement was brief and I actually thought his first flurry was explosive and looked good. Very good stuff. Terry and Navarro really seem to rise to the occasion when they are "on the road." |

Negro Navarro/Black Terry v. Solar/Ultraman 5/1
This is their touring maestro match which I never get tired of seeing. This was on the feet a lot more then it usually is, as Navarro and Solar run through some very fast armdrag and roll up counters. I loved all of Navarro's facial expressions when Solar would get the upper hand. We also get to see a little Solar v. Terry although that is a match up I want to see much more of. |

El Hijo Del Perro Aguyao/Halloween/Damien 666 v. El Hijo Del Santo/Lizmark Jr./El Hijo De La Park PDM 4/20
Not much of a match, most of the first couple of falls involved the PDM team using plastic weapons shots. There were a couple of nice Santo moves, and he still looked good, but I am tired of seeing him stuck in these kind of shticky listless brawls. |
