Dr. Cerebro y Black Terry v. Gringo Loco y Hijo del Diablo 2/7 Cage match
My MOTY right now. As perfect a cage match as one can expect. Nobody was ever standing around aimlessly and the spots all made sense. Gringo Loco and Diablo were excellent as cowardly but bullying when they have an opening rudos, and sold everything extremely well when they were on the receiving end. The spot leading to the chair getting tossed in the ring was great and (again) made sense. Same thing with the escapes. I went into this somewhat cautiously, as I don't expect much from lucha cage matches (perhaps I have seen too many of them involving Halloween & Damian) and don't expect Diablo or Loco to be any more than slightly above average, but I came away very impressed by both of them. I cannot recommend this match enough. |
