Milenium/Centella de Oro/Asturiano v. Espiritu Maligno/Siky Osama/ Cocolores 5/31/10

Another fun opening match trios from our boys in CMLL Puebla. Didn't think a ton of Cocolores, but everyone else was on point. Espiritu Maligno was awesome as usually breaking out his nasty spear and hitting a crazy dive, really like the Milenium v. Siky Osama sections as well.

Milenium - Centella de Oro - Asturiano vs Centauro de Oro - Toro Bill - Fuerza Chicana, CMLL - Arena Puebla - 17-05-10

I assume Phil's referring to this trios. Fun match, although I wish they'd give these guys more time and, you know, an extra two falls. Would have liked to see Oro and Toro Bill work the mat at the start as the other two guys didn't do anything of note. Thought Toro Bill was the best worker here. Love how he'd charge into defenseless dudes, he also took some great bumps and sold them really well.

Austriano/Lestat v. Siki Osama/Karisma 1/4/10

Fun, but not at the level of your normal Puebla undercard match. Lestat had some fun spots, including a quebrada armdrag. Karisma isn't as good as most of the Puebla undercarders and drags this a bit. Siki Osama has a beautiful mask.

Mascarita Dorada/Pequeno Olimpico/Bam Bam v. Pequeno Damien 666/Pierrothcito/Pequeno Black Warrior 1/4/10

Really fun match, Mascarita Dorada is totally awesome in this spinning around a crazy speed and getting chucked high in the air. Started out with some pretty slick matwork. Pequeno Black Warrior is OK, but the other two rudos are right up there with the best wrestlers in the world

Brazo De Plata/Mistico/Sagrado v. Toro Bill/Atlantis/Rey Buccanaro 1/4/10

Not much at all, Sagrado v. Atlantis was OK, and I liked the initial Toro Bill v. Porky comedy section, but the rest of the match was a mess. Seemed like a couple of guys legit hurt themselves and multiple spots got blown. Not good.

We got some new Puebla finally

57th Anniversary show 7/29

La Mascara/Mascara Dorada/La Sombra v. Felino/Negro Casas/Rey Buccanaro

This was pretty great stuff, Felino especially was awesome, I loved his early speed battle with Mascara Dorada, and how he kept cutting off the flips. Rey Buccanaro was a little disappointing although I dug his baseball slide bump. Finish was as wild as you would hope, and this got plenty of time. Right up there with the best non IWRG lucha of the year

Loco Max v. Centella De Oro- Cabellera contra Cabellera

This was good, but I was really hoping it would be better. Pretty much worked 2010 CMLL apuestas style, quick falls, lots of moves, no blood. For a match of that style it was OK, I though both guys stuff looked good, and Oro especially stepped up. Still it is a shitty style and the match slams up against a pretty low ceiling.

La Mascara/Mascara Dorada/La Sombra vs. Felino/Negro Casas/Rey Bucanero, CMLL Puebla 7/29/10

Mascara/Bucanero stuff was a let down. I mean, Bucanero's overrated and has looked disinterested for years and Mascara's fairly average, but still, I expected more. Thankfully everyone else looked great, especially Dorada. That dude is a freak and may even be more spectacular than Freelance. I seriously always end up rewatching most of his dives. Negro Casas will usually work in a creative spot or sequence in a big trios, this match being no exception. Here he sold Sombra's ankle lock brilliantly before getting revenge by locking in a heel hook and ankle lock variations of his own. His no look savate kick to Dorada's ribs was also pretty cool. Felino cut back on his comedy, so we were treated to some of his super smooth matwork and rope running. Really good match.

Estigma/Asturiano vs Siky Ozama/Fuerza Chicana 7/26

Solid Puebla undercard tag, I like the rudos a fair amount although I have seen them better. The technicos are a bit bland. Chicana hit his great spear again.

Will watch the rest of this show later.

Estigma/Asturiano vs Siky Ozama/Fuerza Chicana

It's a letdown to see the Puebla guys only get one fall more and more often, but this is a pretty swell one fall match. Agree about the rudos being the superior half, I thought Ozama in particular was really great as a base for the fliers. Estigma does some nice flying stuff but throws some the shittiest kicks around. Very simple match, but fun.

Policeman v. Centalla De Oro 7/20/09

http://www.youtube.com/user/bwaila29#p/search/0/Kji5rzttUxc

Somehow I missed this when it happened. Pretty good hair match, could have used some blood, but this got enough time, Oro's leg selling was cool and it had a great finish. Probably a top 25 lucha match for 2009

Sauron/Siki Osama v. Black Tiger/Stigma 8/2

This was going well for a while, until it fell completely apart. Stigma isn't very good and kind of dragged this down. Sauron is a Puebla guy I haven't see much of, but he is pretty awesome. Offense looked good, bumped well and had a sweet mask with a beard add on.

Blue Panther, Valiente, Volador Jr. v. Dragón Rojo Jr., Misterioso II, Sangre Azteca 8/2

Perfectly entertaining match, we get 90 or so of nifty Panther matwork, a couple of Valiente dive and a nice couple of monkey flip bumps by the rudos. Nothing super memorable, but probably worth a watch.

Virus/Arkangel/Euforia v. Fuego/Metro/Stuka Jr. 8/2

Best match of the show, it always great to see Virus with some time to perform, and he had a bunch of long exchanges with Stuka Jr. which were very good. His running dropkick to end the first fall was especially awesome. Technicos did some dives, the other two rudo were solid. Fun stuff
