Thanks to our kind and benevolent benefactor Black Terry Jr. we have gotten to see a nice chunk of the 2010 IWRG out there. And damn has it been a great month. What does everyone think was the best match?

I am going with the Traumas v. Zatura/Suicida tag, combines sweet matwork with vicious asskicking which are my two favorite things in wrestling. I could easily see going with Diablo v. Cerebro or the Terry/Navarro/Cerebro v. Solar/Zatura/Suicida trios though.

Diablo v. Cerbero is my working MOTY at the moment. I've seen far too many matches like that one that fizzle out early or get lost in the out of the ring drama but here the match escalates and builds in intensity throughout and the out of the ring stuff actively helps the match. This whole feud has been great really and I hope it's not going away any time soon.

Did Freelance do anything?

Got to agree with Phil about Traumas vs Zatura/Suicida being MOTM. That might have been the most enjoyment I've gotten out of the Traumas. II looked like he was channeling Ishikawa with the punches and the slaps. Suicida is my favorite guy in IWRG right now. He's always fun and brings it every time.

Terry/Cerebro vs Loco/Diablo was a close second. Loco as a indy Art Barr is awesome. Just turned into a brutal bloody match and Terry looked like a million bucks destroying Loco and Diablo. Is Diablo related to La Fiera?

I still got a lot to watch on the list but the first two minutes of Black Terry y Doctor Cerebro vs Gringo Loco y El Hijo del Diablo from 1/24 is sooo fucking balls out awesome.

I was so glad we had that big snowstorm on Wednesday. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to catch up on IWRG from this year. I still have to watch the last few shows of the month but right now Traumas vs Suicida/Zatura is looking like it'll be pretty hard to fuck with. Up until that match Trauma I was the bruiser and Trauma II was the mat wrestler but II is nearly as well versed in the fine art of brawling here. Trauma I has great knee lifts and headbutts as usual. The Traumas are the stars here but I'm really fond of Zatura and Segura looks as solid as he usually does. Hard to go wrong here.

I voted for Cerebro vs. Hijo Del Diablo. I loved the way it kept building and building, getting crazier and crazier. Cerebro is such a badass, and Black Terry added quite a lot as a second.

The Traumas ruled it in the 1/14 tag, but la tercera caida just didn't do the match justice.

I voted for the Diablo-Cerebro match too, Dr. Cerebro looked liked the best worker in the world in that singles, but I'm pretty surprised at the lack of votes for the Black Terry y Dr. Cerebro vs Gringo Loco y El Hijo del Diablo brawl. The moment when Terry - who is dripping in blood - screams "Pegame pinche Diablo!", and Diablo stiffs the the fuck out of him is a great visual. The whole match is an incredible intense brawl, and I see it as the sort of match that is going to age very well when years from now we look back at 2010 IWRG.

FWIW that would probably be my number two match from Jan. IWRG and I'd have it as a top five match for the year so far.

My guess is that is it #2 for a lot of people. I think if you are feeling that feud, you probably vote Cerebro v. Diablo #1
