Hyacinthe lifting himself up to another ledge, cursed under his breath his arms and fingers aching in protest to the task. His frustration of climbing, jumping, and balancing along the side of Death Mountain was starting to get the better of him. As he cursed the small caravan that had gotten him into this predicament. Smiling slightly the half-Hylian also recalled that the caravans leader’s daughter had a nice set of…… “AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!” Hyacinthe cried out as a rock he grabbed gave.
His body twisted around, due to his arm’s momentum, before jerking to a stop. Dangling high above the ground. Hyacinthe stared at the jutting rocks below him as they started to spin and duplicate themselves. “ Oh Goddesses!” Snapping his eyes shuts the young warrior turned his head upwards feeling ready to puke as his stomach felt as if it was doing flips. Slowly opening his eyes he peaked at the arm that had kept him from his death. Gingerly reaching up with his free arm he gripped a hand-hold before quickly climbing to the ledge .Hauling himself over the edge he crawled to the far wall. Slumping down against it, his breathing ragged and blood pumping in his ears drowning out all thoughts and sounds, as he sat there trying to regain his composure.

Mountains? Mountains. Yes, mountains! Death Mountain was where the amateur troubadour found himself this fine day. As the sun grazed the tops of its peaks and the heat began to lessen as the man traveled ever upward, Li felt himself becoming rejuvenated by the fresh air and sights. He had left the City a little over three weeks ago—which was the earliest Talithia would allow him travel after removing his stitches. The warrior-bard sighed heavily as the doctor crossed his mind. She was quite beautiful…and smart to boot. Ah had he not been a traveling man…
Li’s foot rolled to the side as a rock slipped from beneath it. Pushing his weight to the left, he pressed his shoulder against the rocky mountain side as he sidled away from the edge. “A wonder it is called Death Mountain,” he commented to the Keaton by his side. Desi, light-footed and swift, gave a short yip before weaving between Li’s legs and into the lead. The little yellow creature lifted its front paw as it cocked its head to the side and barked for her master to follow. Shaking his head, Li realized he had little other choice than to obey the Keaton’s suggestion.
“Perhaps then I should start yodeling,” Li gave his furry companion a smirk to which she replied with a disapproving snort. “What? You’ve never heard me yodel…and you cannot expect me to believe that you, after being in these mountains for this long, do not have an urge to do so as well.” Desie’s vulpine-like face twisted into yet another look of disproval as she threw her head back and let out a howl to convey that had she the desire, she would be capable of “yodeling” with Li.
The long-haired man carefully followed the path until it widened and gave way to a small opening within the mountain. It was far too shallow to be a cave, but it was deep enough to provide shelter for a weary traveler. “Fine, you’ve made your point,” he grumbled to Desi as she reared up and pressed her nose against his knapsack. He set the bag down on the ground and took out a bit of food for the Keaton before sitting back against the wall and tuning his lute. He had the sudden whim to experiment with the environment’s acoustics.

Forcing himself to calm and pace his erratic breathing. The crimson-haired man managed to slow the thunderous pounding of his heart, aiding to trim the deafening roar of blood as it rushed through his ears. Hyacinthe gave a low sigh as the pounding in his skull came to a slow throb, the half-Hylian's relief however was short lived as a dull pain creep up from the arm that had saved him from death's embrace. Groaning he shifted himself into a sitting position against the mountain's side. His face twisting in anger and frustration glared at the Eden Fields. " Damn that worthless caravan, and those cowardly thieves, and this accursed mountain!" Hyacinthe sneered, as he rubbed his hurting arm.
This was post to have been simple and easy. Track down a couple bandits, capture or kill them, find the stolen goods, and then return them, but no those two *****s instead of setting up somewhere down there, they had come to this stupid rock. Well this little hero was done for today, deciding as soon he got done resting he would be on his way out of here and back to civilization. Right now he could care less for the amazing view in front of him or the lovely tune that flowed through the air. Wait. Music? The adventure shot to his feet. His head swiveling back an forth trying to locate the source of the sound. " Who in the fire of Din?"he mumbled to to himself in disbelief at what he was hearing. Coming to decision in which direction the source of the music was Hyacinthe walked along the ledge in that direction.
It didn't take too long before Hyacinthe found the person, who he believed was playing a lute. Although he wasn't positive on that, but he was fairly certain this wasn't one of the bandits he was looking for from the man's odd appearance. That and the fact he had spotted two other men sneaking up on the musician. For a moment he thought of alerting the music play, but fearing it would scare his quarry away he opted against it. Making his way down Hyacinthe only hoped he could cry out before they got too close and he that wasn't spotted.

The strings of the lute tensed as Li turned the tuning pegs, and drawing a finger across each one, he tested their tune. As usual, the highest-pitched string, a single gut string, was giving him the most trouble. Frowning and narrowing his brown eyes, the thespian turned the peg in smaller increments until it was in tune. As soon as he released his grasp on the peg, however, the pitch immediately dropped, causing Li to growl in frustration and twist the tuning peg about again. As the tension built, could hear an audible stretching and straining noise—like a twang—and then there was a pop and a loud expletive that echoed through the shallow cavern.
“My…last…string…” Li leaned his head against the wall and clenched his teeth before cutting his eyes to Desi. The Keaton’s ears had perked up at the loud noise and her angular face turned to Li, but she was quite used to it. This was not the first time the actor had broken a lute string and this would not be the last.
Desi began to lower her head back onto her paws, but then her head turned toward the entrance of the cave and her ears flattened as she bared her teeth in warning. She had heard something, but nothing had appeared yet. Still, she rose to her feet and growled at the intruders, which garnered Li’s attention. He looked toward whatever the Keaton was focused on, set his instrument to the side, and rose to his feet was well.
The bandits, knowing that the small yellow creature had found them out, they moved into the portal their weapons drawn. “Just isn’t your day, is it?” One of the men sneered and spat on the ground at Li’s feet. “Give us your money and maybe we’ll let ya go easy.”
Li, a frightened expression taking hold of his features, nodded and threw his hands up in surrender. “Now, now, gentlemen, let’s not do any rash. Here, this is all I have.” The lutist twisted around to pull his rupee pouch from his sash and tossed it toward the two criminals. In the split second that their attention shifted to catching the pouch, Li slipped his hands into his claws and rushed the two men. Dropping one shoulder, he rammed into the first thief who fumbled Li’s coin purse and was knocked off balance and onto the ground. Then, rotating toward the other man, he brought his claws toward the thief’s waist in an attempt to sink a bit of steel into his side. However, the man’s sword intercepted Li’s Phoenix Talons and knocked them away before counterattacking with a diagonal slash from the left.
Sidestepping, the dark-haired bard locked the man’s sword in between the individual claws of his weapon and then lifted his arms while spinning in a tight circle. This forced the bandit to release his sword or suffer a broken wrist. The criminal, now disarmed and incensed, darted toward Li with the desire to give him a broken jaw or nose, but his bare knuckles slammed into the armor that Li bore on his chest. Growling in pain, he stumbled backwards, allowing the travelling warrior-bard to advance. Slashing out toward the man, Li forced him back until he was on the small ledge of the mountain. His footing began to slip and he flailed to regain it.
“You lack the poise and elegance of a true fighter,” Li placed his right claw at the man’s neck, “…and the balance as well.” Pausing for a brief second, Li pressed his foot against the man’s shin and applied just enough force to send him further off balance and toppling down the mountain. Turning, he hastened to engage the supposed leader, who, now with two swords in his hands, rushed forward.
((OoC: I had to obliterate at least one of them...besides every time we meet it seems like it's because someone is getting attacked. T_T ~your turn. Bunny Desi if you want/need to.))

Hyacinthe was making his way around a boulder, when the sounds of fighting arose. Gritting, he hastened around the large rock. Hopeful that musician would be able to hold his own a little longer. Sliding down to the ledge, he witnessed the rather gruesome fate of one of the thieves.
On the ledge with the others, Hyacinthe rushed the last bandit. Hitting the man with a full on tackle. On the ground he was having a poor time of disarming the man. Maybe it would be easier to deal with this man standing up. Before he could, a Keaton started snapping at the man’s ears and neck.
“ Get it away! Get it away!” The bandit screamed, trying to keep his face away from the Keaton.
Struggling, he managed to keep the man from throwing him off in his panic. “ Drop the weapons first, pal!”

Before Li and the bandit leader had the chance to lock weapons, a black, white, and red blur slammed into the theif, taking him to the ground. Instantly, Desi saw an opportunity to defend her comrade and leapt toward the fallen wastrel, baring her fangs. Growling, she went directly for his head and was able to latch onto one of his ears, causing him to yell in pain and struggle against the man that had tackled him.
At first, Li directed his attack toward the newcomer, but halted once he realized that the redhead was on his side. Moving to the pair’s side, Li lowered his Phoenix Talon to the bandit’s throat, pressing it tightly against his skin. “I would do what he says,” the thespian warned, jerking his head toward the redheaded warrior. Desi, the fur along her back sticking straight up, growled menacingly to emphasize her master’s suggestion.

With the blades pressed against his neck the bandit quickly obliged his captures. " O..Okay, you win I surrender just please keep that monster away from me." The man whimpered.
" See that wasn't too difficult." Hyacinthe commented. Shifting he placed a knee on the man's chest, and then released his arms. Grabbing both swords he tossed them to the side. Looking up at the dark-haired man. " I don't guess you have any rope or something to restrain him with other then you weapon and Keaton, do you?" It would be nice not to have to watch his knave every second.

After the man was disarmed, Li sheathed his own weapons and stepped around the bandit to collect Desi. The Keaton, still growling, was rigid as her human companion picked her up. Had she been any tenser, she may have been mistaken as a taxidermy creature—a possessed one. As Li curled his arms slowly around her body, supporting her bottom, she began to loosen up but her beady eyes remained riveted on her prey. Desi licked her lips and brushed a paw over her nose and bloodstained muzzle before burrowing into Li’s arm.
“Sadly, I have very little…” Li gathered the rupees that had spilt on the floor and placed them back in the pouch before hooking it to his side and sauntering over to his knapsack. He flipped the top of it open and set Desi down before grabbing his lute and holding it up for the man to see. “I do, however, have a lute string. It will be most uncomfortable, and thin, but you won’t have to worry about him struggling much.” The thespian undid the broken string from the rest of the instrument and gave it to the stranger. Its thin wire-like thickness would sink and cut into the skin of a man who fought against its binding power.

Looking up at the dark-haired musician as retrieved the thin string, Hyacinthe nodded with a smile. " Yeah probably cut his hands of if he struggles against it much." His golden eyes moving back to his prisoner, holding wicked glint within them, forcing the knaves hands together. Looping the string around the bandit's hands he tied it quickly. The whole time the pathetic bandit was pleading, apologizing, and whimpering clearly on the verge of tears.
For Godesses' sake why do these fools have to be such spineless vermin. Couldn't they at least try not pissing themselves during moments like this. Hyacinthe wondered, as he straightened himself, after restraining the man's hands. " Don't move, I'd hate for you to give that Keaton the impression your trying to escape." He sneered.
As if on cue the Keaton lifted her head from her master's arm. Bearing her sharp teeth with a menacing growl. It was enough to silence the man as he looked up fearfully at it.
Hyacinthe couldn't help but feel disgusted, but smiling he looked over at his allies in the capture. " Sorry." He said, offering a handshake. " I should have yelled a warning sooner, but I didn't want those two getting away to cause more suffering to others."

“Li,” he took the man’s hand in his own and gave it a strong shake. “I take it that you are some sort of mercenary or vigilante?” The thespian’s brown eyes surveyed every inch of the other man. He was geared for combat, and from what Li could tell, the katana that he possessed was something special. It seemed to give off an ethereal aura like it had been enchanted—or cursed.
Casting a glance toward the bandit, Li noticed that he had attempted to struggle a little and had superficially cut his wrists. The pain, however, was sharp and stinging and the wastrel frowned and bit his lip to cease the tears that threatened to flow. Desi, burrowing her head back into Li’s arm folded her ears back to keep tabs on the other two strangers. She may have fought on Li’s side, but she was not yet used to the red-headed swordsman.
“So…did you follow them all the way up here and for what? You said something about suffering, where they murderers?” Li jerked is head toward their captive and inquired hesitantly. He didn’t want to push into anything that he needn’t understand, but it would be nice to know why they were on the run.
