Well I am pretty much receiving and using any ideas that people give me for my new book that I am writing... I started out on a .... really crappy outline which I am going to post up later and see what you guys think I should change... I'm a great writer but I don't think on the spot my imagination takes time to spit out ideas..

Lemme see a bit of it, and then I can help.

1. Prologue
-MC walking through a graveyard
-Digs up bones and puts together a spell and loses control
-Something comes out and goes into the MC

2. First Chapter
-A man is waiting in the rain outside of a building with a lantern
-Another man comes and tells him that an army recently took over a city to the north, and tells him to protect the weapon
-Both men depart, story follows the first man to a secret trap door behind his house that leads to a chest which he puts the key in…
-Suddenly he hears the trapdoor shut and turns around but nothing is there
-He turns back around to the chest to find that it’s gone and is suddenly knocked out.

3. Second Chapter
-Man wakes up where he was originally knocked out but his hands are tied
-He casts a spell to be rid of the ropes, and then gets up and opens the trapdoor.
-As he props up the trapdoor he sees two feet of a soldier, closes the trapdoor and thinks about what to do, and then he opens it quietly and shoots a beam of energy through the man’s chest and then stuffs the body in the trapdoor.
-The man runs to his friends house but he wasn’t there
-Man runs to the country’s Lord’s castle, and when he enters he tells the lord about the news, but the he doesn’t react to it, and the man sees a soldier walk out with the chest along with the mans friend.
-The Lord has an evil look on his face and tells the soldier to open the chest, and a beam of light shoots up and a terrible shriek fills the palace.

3. Third Chapter
-MC is in a tavern drinking
-Someone walks in and they get into an argument
-MC ends up getting angry and fighting the man and people come to help the stranger and he beats up everybody
-He turns in the middle of the battle, runs outside, someone from the tavern throws something at him, and he blasts fire at the tavern from his hand

It jumps around a bit. It's hard to follow the charecters without proper names.
