Title: Hunting Humans -open-
Description: Tastes better than chicken!

Elk Ridge was an exclusively human population. No Hybri stepped foot through its streets; they were forbidden to enter Homo Sapiens' last great refuge.
That didn't stop Reign Lukas Diablo. If the humans knew that he was one of the ones responsible for the disappearances occurring in the area, they would have been after his blood. Which was fine, because he was after their's.
Crouched on all fours, the gray wolf and Bengal tiger Hybri peered through the bushes at the small boy who was playing unsupervised in the sandbox. The humans here were still far too comfortable, if they would still allow their children to play outside freely. Reign would simply have to change that.
He leaped, and the boy vanished without a sound from the backyard at the edge of Elk Ridge. He held a clawed hand firmly over his mouth as he dragged him into the nearby wilderness.
Reign Lukas Diablo sat under a tree in a small wooden grove, picking at his teeth with a small rib bone. The carcass beside him was stripped of its flesh, the bones slightly scattered. Many were shattered, showing evidence that the marrow had been sucked from them.
BloodRain had a full stomach, and he simply couldn't be more pleased.

Luna creeped around the trees on the outskirts of Elk Ridge. She sniffed around for the evil mastermind, Reign. He was the leader of the Pack she so happened to be in. Luna loved violence. Whatever kind of violence that might be, it didn't matter, as long as she could pounce and attack like wild animals.
She found his scent quickly and walked around that one tree he was leaning on. She creeped forward on all fours, her preference, and stood in front of Reign.
"Hey you," she purred,"Where have you been sneaking around?"
She crept up and lay down somewhat beside him.
"I see you've caught a little something there. Enjoy it?"
She scratched behind her ear for a second then her eyes drifted over to his lounging body. She also noticed the leftovers of the person he had just consumed, but cared not of it.

Reign smiled slightly at the sight of his fellow tiger Hybri. He threw the bone he was using as a toothpick carelessly aside, and looked at the female with icy blues whose gaze seemed to cut through to the very soul of whomever they were penetrating.
"Hello, Luna," he muttered in reply to her, his voice a low purr. "Doing my duty for our cause, of course. Which I always enjoy," he continued with a cruel grin, leaning to pick up part of a femur that he hadn't broken open. He tossed it towards her with a chuckle. "Here. I'm too full for this."

"Of course," she said grinning, showing her sharp array of teeth, just before she caught the bone in her mouth.
She knawed on it until it broke open. It broke with a sort of crackling sound that was pleasent to Luna's ears.
She too wasn't quite hungry so she moved the rest aside with her paw.
She stood up on two legs and stretched herself along the tree, scratching down the bark with her arms elevated high up on its trunk. She left two sets of five-scratch marks down the bark, filing her nails only slighty, so that they were still sharp, but not overgrown.
"How goes this day today, other than your little catch of course," she said grinning meniachly.

Reign listened to Luna gnaw on the bone he had tossed to her. He grinned, showing off his wicked canine teeth, at the sound of the bone cracking open. He watched her as she sharpened her claws on the bark of a nearby tree, appreciating the way her muscles moved while she ripped the bark apart.
"Quite well, Luna," he said in reply to her inquiry. "There will be a meeting of The Pack soon. Spread the word, feline." He yawned, stretching out his arms towards the sky, his claws popping out as he did so.

"As you wish."
After completing her phrase she got down on all fours and sprinted off into the forest. A loud growl errupted from her throat, spurring her animal instincts on more.
She ran towards where many of the members of the pack had assembled. She hoped that her growl had drawn more near.
"BloodRain wishes to assemble a meeting, so I shall make it so."
A mix between a growl and a purr emanated from her.
"BloodRain lays on the outskirts let us assemble near there."
She then set back off towards the deep forest.

Reign watched Luna dash away to deliver his message. She was quite the runner, much like himself. She hadn't proved much to him in the brains department, but he found her attractive enough. She had a blood thirsty, aggressive personality that he enjoyed. She embraced her animal side, also like himself. Luna Teara made good company.
Perhaps he would lay with her some day.
BloodRain chuckled to himself, and closed his cold eyes. He'd take a little cat nap until she returned.

Luna returned quickly to relay the message.
"The pack is mobile and on its way here as you wished," she said obeyingly. She was eager to please and eager to be given orders to fulfill. Especially if they required violence of some sort. Luna remaind standing on all fours in front of Reign. She all of her claws on her four paws into the soft dirt there, her tail flicking behind her.
She was ready for action. Immediate action. She wasn't the type to think then act. Action first. Always first. Deal with the consequences later.
Her ears were poised backwards as she heard the rest of the Pack approaching their position. Her lips furled back as a hungry growl erupted from her throat. She charged at the tree and climbed up onto a low-hanging branch for observation.

Brenda Harlynn walked up, hips swaying and smirk plastered across her face as always. She was a confident woman, knowing full well who she was and what she wanted, revenge. It was what she lived for, thrived on, and the only thing keeping her alive any more. She didn't have anything else to live for but her revenge, and that was fine by her. She'd exact it and then she could be happy and no longer care if she were alive or dead. She stepped up to the others, looking at the girl in the tree. She didn't like having her feet off the ground, at least not unless they were being planted in some human's face.
"So, we moving or what?" she asked, almost sounding bored. But it was either bored and to eager in her books when it came to moving out for anything, and she preferred to sound bored usually. The only time she truly let herself sound eager was when she knew what they were doing and what her part was going to be in it. That had yet to happen so she waited, arms crossed under her ample chest and back leaning up against the tree behind her.
Her 5 foot tall frame was not slim, not in the least. She was a strong small thing, with muscle and curves to spare but she liked it that way. The deep maroon corset she wore only heightened that look, a simple black blouse under it with short sleeves. Her logs were mostly exposed due to a pair of black short shorts and then a pair of black knee high tight lacing boots. It was her normal attire, matched with black and white hair. It was white in the back with black bangs, the white part was cut short enough to stick out around the back of her head while the black bangs were down to her chin. The only bits longer were the two small braids, one on either side, where her hair switched from black to white. The braids were both black and white, falling to her shoulders. Her skin was almost entirely dark, black at her fingertips and fading out to a dark chocolate brown until her back, where it was surprisingly white. She eyed the two of them as she waited for instructions.

"Hey, John!" Clara called, running down the street from her house near the top of Elk Ridge to meet her younger friend, who had been waiting for her in the street, She held the baseball bat, glove, and ball in her hands and slowed to a walk. "Sorry that took so long. I got stopped by my mom . . ." She frowned and stopped short. "John?" Impatiently, Clara looked back and forth and called again, "John! Come on out."
There was no reply, just the eerie silence of the empty street. Clara shivered, then berated herself. Don't be stupid she thought, What could have happened? She called for her friend again, and then started a thorough search of the surrounding yards. When she reached the edge of the forest, she spotted a keychain that John always kept attached to the loop of his jean lying broken on the ground.
"This isn't funny anymore," Clara started into the woods hesitantly. "I found you. Let's go already." Then, stumbling through a patch of undergrowth, she saw a patch of ground stained scarlet red. Before she was able to stop herself, she looked carefully and saw the remains of a body. Bones lay exposed, muscles and flesh ripped unceremoniously apart, and a head with a face so mutilated it was completely unrecognizable lay several feet in front of her. But even without the face, there was absolutely no mistaking the cropped brown hair and tattered remnants of an orange T-shirt.
Clara felt tremors shoot through her body and she bent over, vomiting violently into the bushes. This can't be happening, she thought numbly to herself.
