P.A.G.E.: People Against Genetic Engineering.
When scientists first announced their plans for Hybri babies, a considerable amount of public unrest was the result. Although science was constantly advancing, many people were still against the idea of genetic engineering. It only took a few days for protesters to organize themselves into a formal group: P.A.G.E.
P.A.G.E. held the position that creating/modifying DNA was beyond humans, and that such actions were bound to have consequences. They organized rallies and their leaders took to talk shows in an attempt to heard. Unfortunately, nothing worked.
As time passed, and Hybri were brought to life, people became more accepting of the new hybrid race. Some were won over by the "cute" animal features Hybri sported while others were just tired of fighting a losing battle. Still, not everyone was so understanding.
Today, the members of P.A.G.E. keep in touch through a single base in Elk Ridge and through online groups. While they do not publicly endorse violence nor extreme measures, rumors claim their tactics are increasingly dangerous, and that P.A.G.E. members should be avoided at all costs.
