What is the House of Night Academy?

Darkness.Violence.Blood lust. The house of Night Academy is a school for vampires. Miori vampires are the more in control between Miori and Stragori, the reckless, evil, blood lust counter parts of the Miori. Miori vampires are those who believe in following the rules of being a vampire. They control their hunting habits, while Stragori don't.

At the House of Night Academy the vampires co-exist with Dampire's (half vampires) together they focus on their studies as mastery of their elements. Each student has an affinity for one of the four elements, either water,fire, earth or air. With power comes responsibilit, there are always fights between Miori vampires, Stragori and Dampire's that's where the Vampire General's come into play.

The Vampire Generals are prefects for the school. One for Dampire's, Stragori, and Miori. They are the student ears for the House of Night Professors.

The classes in House of Night are Miori Culture, Miori History, Battle tactics, Covert Operations, Astrology, Potions, Elemental Affinities, Adv Fire mastery, Adv Water Mastery, Adv Air Mastery, Adv. Earth Mastery.

Sounds all fine and dandy right? Wrong. With vampire's theres alway competition for girls, guys power and blood. Vampire's or not there's nothing that can suppress the sexual desire. Sex scandels, wild parties...everything and more at House of Night Vampire Academy

Stragori- Stragori are evil vampires. They need blood everyday. They are obsessed with it. They are able to go out in the sunlight but only for about 10 hours at a time. They are vicious and don't care about the rules to preserve their kind. Humans know that vampires exist but they still hunt like animals. They are very careless when they do so. Occasionally Stragori hunt Miori because their blood, like human, makes them stronger. Because of that fact the two bloods have been at war all their existence.

Miori- They are the more controlled counter parts to Stragori. They hunt with acute precision and cover up their trails unlike Stragori. They too can be out in the sun for a little while. Occasionally they can be violent like Stragori but for the most part they understand that all actions have consequences good and bad.

Dhampire- Dhampire's are half vampire. They are half human or half vampire (Miori or Stragori). They have all the benefits of being human as well as vampires. They can be a split between miori, stragori and human. They can act either way in reguard to behavior. Though it's uncertain how they act for sure. Dhampire's can hold their own just as well as a full vampire can though because they are half vampire their human half gives them a higher advantage at times.
