These are the rules that you will be expected to follow while you're Roleplaying.

Literate/Advanced

This is a literate/advanced roleplay site. What this means is that you must be able to post at least two or three paragraphs in roleplays. Spelling and grammar will not be looked at just as long as you're not spelling or making mistakes that makes it hard to read your post. The only thing we care about is you following the two or three paragraph rule, anything beyond that would be good but not needed.

Godmoding and Powerplaying

No godmodeing or powerplaying. This simply means two things, one your character must be able to die. No character is going to be all powerful, well with the exception of Voldemort, but he can at least still die. No character is going to be able to dodge every hex or jinx thrown at them, some of them have to hit. Also, you cannot control another character. NP's (Non-Player Characters) such as Madam Pince or Madam Pomfrey is okay to control every once in a while, but a players character is not okay to control.

Character Templates

You must use the character template provided to you by us. Using the template will cover all parts of the profile that we find useful to have. You are required to fill out all parts of the profile unless it does not apply to your character. Once the profile is done you have to wait for an admin to accept it before you can began roleplaying with us. While you wait, you are welcome to use the OOC threads to talk to people.

Three Accounts

You are allowed on character per account and only allowed three accounts. This means that you can only really have three characters, just one per account. This is to give everyone a fair chance at calling a character and also so that spaces get filled up soon. Also your first account must be used for a Cannon Character. Once you reach 100 posts on your first account you can make your own character or call one more Cannon Character. So basically once you've reached your 100 post mark on the very first account you've created you can make the other two anytime you want. However keep in mind all of your accounts must be active or they will be removed from the site.

Have Fun

Have fun. The point of the site is for everyone to have a good time. It's no fun to come onto a site to roleplay but not have fun doing it. We ask only a few things of all of our members, and in return we ask that you try and have a good time.

Umbrella Rule

Just because a rule is not on here does not mean we do not have anything on that rule, it just means we haven't added it yet. If we find you trying to get around a rule of if you have something questionable we will PM you and might even ask you to change it.
