Draco had not thought that he would have had any plans that night, and had planned on grading papers and possibly working on a potion or two for the next class that was supposed to come in the next week. Of course, though, something – or rather someone – had to crush his ideas, and that someone for tonight just happened to be the crusher of his ideas for every other time. He now had plans of a different sort. These of which included the detention kind, with some students that thought that he had no authority toward them and didn’t do anything for the entire detention time.

Kristina Lupin.

The potion’s classroom was a mess. Apparently, even up until Christmas Break, some first year students still did not understand the ‘cleaning up’ part before you are supposed to leave the potion’s classroom. Books and flasks were astray. Cauldrons were piled up on the counters and then piled up onto the floor beside the counter when there wasn’t any more space left there. A chair was turned over from a Hufflepuff believing that he could do the potion without the book — That Hufflepuff now being in the hospital wing.

Draco was now sitting at his desk, trying desperately to try and find some papers from the end of semester final that all of the classes had taken. It was a large, about a foot tall stack of papers tied together with twine, and Professor Malfoy had somehow managed to lose it in the span of a few hours. He sighed and pulled out yet another drawer. He wasn’t helping the fact that his room was still a pig sty, but he would clean it up sooner or later. At least, before his next class started. He would defiantly have to have this room cleaned, and the papers found and graded by the time that the other students started filing in the next week, or else he would be in trouble.

The Potion’s Master cursed under his breath and stood. At that same moment, a large breeze blew in through the window and brushed stray papers from the floor and the drawers that had been pulled out away. Some, even, flew out the window. He cursed louder and walked over, shutting the window with a loud slam. Papers fell from the ceiling like the snow that lay on the ground outside at this very moment. He didn’t want to, but he knew he had to. Turning around, he realized that his room looked like a tornado just hit it. He sighed, leaning on the counter and closing his eyes, one hand on the counter top and the other resting on his temple and over his eyes.

A gentle and yet harsh wind blew through the air around Kristina, blowing her hair behind her as she walked up toward the castle. The sky above was that of a light gray, and yet held the air of night time. A sign to Kristina that it would once agian began snowing even before the night was up, and perhaps before her detention was up. Which was yet another reason for her to not have to rush up to the castle so soon. Despite the harsh cold of the winter evening, Kristina was in no rush whatsoever to be showing up for her detention...though she had lost track of just how many detentions she had already been through with Professor Malfoy.

As yet another breeze blew past her, she pulled her cloak tighter around her thin frame as she continued at her slow pace toward the castle. Against the white substance already on the ground, her footprints to and from the castle had already made quite a bit of a mess among the beauty that was of the snow. She loved the Christmas season way too much, but perhaps on this most coldest of nights - though she didn't completely mean cold as in the air around her - Kristina felt a bit of hatefulness toward the snow around her.

All the way up to the castle, all that could have been heard had been her mumblings about how unfair it was that Professor Malfoy had given her a detention at the beginning of Christmas break. It was completely unfair in her books, and she was going to be sure to raise some hell about it at the beginning of her detention. Which, mind you all, had started five minutes ago.

As she stepped into the warm air of the castle, Kristina reached into her pocket for her wand, giving it a slight flick and allowing some nice hot air to emit from the wand. She dried herself off with not a moment to spare as she sprang from her bed to see what was the matter before finally setting off on her slow descent down into the dungeons, though still muttering.

However, by the time she got to the Potions classroom, Kristina's muttering fell silent as she stared at the double doors that led into the classroom. Besides one other detention, this would be the second time she had to see Professor Malfoy since he had first kissed her. Though the last detention was bareable for the fact that she kept herself busy with a Wolfsbane Potion. But now, she felt almost a bundle of nerves, realizing she was going to be alone in this classroom with the Professor for at least a few hours.

Letting out a sigh, Kristina stepped into the room, realizing now she was ten minutes late on the dot. Silently though, she took her seat and unfastened her cloak and allowed it to drape onto the back of the chair. Little white snowflakes still clung to her brown hair and yet she didn't seem to be paying much mind to this fact.

She was silent for a few moments as she watched the Professor, her arms folded on the desk before her. Though finally, she broke the silence with a simple question, "Of all other nights why would you choose Christmas break to give me detention? Break is supposed to be fun." she exclaimed.

The Potion’s Master looked up at the clock just in time to see the form of Kristina Lupin walk through the door of the potion’s classroom, obviously unhappy about the fact that Draco had given her detention on Christmas Break. That was not what Draco needed now – a whining student with a horrible grade because they were slacking off in his class. No, this was not needed at all. It looked as if she had dried all of the wet, melted snow off of her before coming in, which he held his tongue to thank her for. He really didn’t need any more of a mess in the room, as it is obvious that it was already the messiest it had ever gotten that year.

Draco walked over to the piled of cauldrons and pulled out his wand, starting to clean them all out with a spell and then replacing them back into their intended positions in the cabinets above the counters. He had gotten through five of the thirty or so there when Kristina had started whining about his timing on setting up her detention. To tell the truth, he had not even realized that she had anything more important to do, and he didn’t need her here anyway while he was cleaning up, as she would only screw something up.

Though, Draco didn’t want to just let her leave, as that would be weak and it would seem as if he had already had enough of her. No, she would never let him live that down. Professor Malfoy turned around with his wand in one hand and a dirty cauldron with left over Polyjuice potion left inside of it and sighed. “I had not realized that you had anything better to do over Christmas Break, Miss Lupin, than sit around with that wretched boyfriend of yours and snog through the entire break. Honestly,” he said, finally turning back to his doings with the cauldrons, “is that what students do these days? My . . . I do feel old . . . ” Draco’s tone had become more friendly now, as he really didn’t feel like adding anything more horrible to his day. It was already going too appallingly.

Draco sighed and looked over to see that she had not brought anything to detention as she normally did not do. He sighed and finished up the rest of the cauldrons, walking over to random spots in the room to pick up books that students had thrown at each other or used to sabotage potions of rivaling houses. “I suppose, then,” Draco said indifferently, “that you do not intend to do anything for the next few hours of detention?” he asked, already knowing the sarcastic answer that would come out of the Gryffindor’s mouth.

Kristina watched with very little interest and with quite a bit of anger as Professor Malfoy went about cleaning up his room, which she had for the first time since arriving into the room not only but two minutes previously noticed was a complete mess. She couldn't remember leaving the classroom in such a bad shape, though she couldn't remember coming to the last potions lesson as it was...Which had meant she had skipped out on her final test for the term. But it didn't matter too much for her. She was failing the class, however she could have easily passed her O.W.L.s for Potions if she really wanted to. And at least her missing the test had meant it was just one less test the Professor had to grade. If anything he should have been thankful for that.

Still though, Kristina brought her gaze to rest just outside of the Potions classroom toward the window that doesn't exist. She let out a soft sigh as she watch another batch of snow fall from the clouds like little pieces breaking off from the clouds. What she would have given to have been able to spend the remainder of her evening outside of the school just playing in the stone snow instead of stuck in some classroom with perhaps the worst teacher in Hogwarts history.

Kristina's eyes narrowed at the Professor as he replied to her question and for a moment she had to force herself to not say anything that would have gotten her into anymore trouble. A night of detention was enough for her. All she wanted was to get it over with and not have to come back to him ever again. "We wouldn't snog through the entire break if you must know." Kristina said venomously. "There'd be way more then that envolved." she left this comment hanging in the air, almost dangling it in front of the Professor as if to anger him further.

Again she allowed the silence to fall into step with the two of them and finally Kristina forced her gaze away from the window at which the snow was still falling. She leaned back in her chair, arms folded across her chest just staring up at the front of the classroom which now just held a desk. Professor Malfoy was still in the middle of picking up the room at the time.

Though as the comment of her doing something during the detention came up, Kristina had to stifle a smile before saying, "There isn't much too do during Christmas Holidays. And besides, I'd rather not. I just want to get this over with so I can leave tonight and not have to see you for another detention ever again..."

(*Kris headdesking the keyboard* bn bn)
(*Kris typing the word keyboard**looks down at the object*)
(Kay *says slowly* Keyboard.)

Draco sighed as he turned to look at Kristina. He couldn't believe that those words had just come out of her mouth. When he was in school, girls didn't talk like that. It was the boys who looked forward to snogging during Christmas Break. His cold gray eyes landed perfectly still back on the Gryffindor girl's lips. He watched her speak. As a cold wind blew against the window, he could hear the glass in the window rattle with every gust of wind that dared to blow past.

(m,m, bn, bn)

Rolling his eyes, swiftly he walked across the room and stopped by his tall mahogony desk. Leaning over he picked up a few stray pieces of paper and replaced them onto the top of his desk. It was only then as he saw a large back spot forming through those papers starting from the bottom that he realized his ink had fallen over. He cursed loudly and picked the papers up. Written at the top of them, it said 'Potions Final - Fifth Years'. Draco cursed loudly and crumpled up the papers. This would mean that all of the fifth years would either have to take their final again, or he would have to make up the grades they had gotten.

Draco sighed and put a hand on his desk, looking over to the Gryffindor girl. "Where do you people come up with these oh so mature topics?" he asked gingerly. Pulling out his wand, he waved it over the drawers he had pulled out, and the papers that were spewed across the floor. The papers immediately flew into the drawers, and the drawers were replaced into their rightful places in the desk. "I don't even know what you see in that boy." Draco sighed, putting his wand away and waving his hand as if it wasn't important.

(T.T What's a good way to tick off a teacher like Professor Malfoy?)

Kristina continued staring up at the front of the classroom, being too caught up into her own anger that she didn't want to open her mouth to reply to any of his comments. There were several different replies she could have easily made to him, and yet none of them seemed approrpiate enough. Any comment she had simply thought of would have earned her at least a weeks worth of detention with the person she completely despised standing somewhere else within the room. As if it wasn't enough she had to miss out on the remainder of her Saturday night, but it would have been worse if she got more detentions just by one comeback to him.

'Just relax, Kristina...' she thought silently to herself. 'It's just a few hours at most...You can survive one detention without saying anything smartass like to him...' However, there had been a slight problem with that and that had been the simple fact that she, Kristina Lupin, had never once been able to hold her tounge longer then a few minutes at most. In fact, the longest she had managed to hold any comeback to anyone had been a little over three minutes. So having to do so for only a few hours were simply just kill her if nothing else.

But still, if it was a matter of being forced into yet another detention with Professor Malfoy and missing yet a few more nights of her Christmas Holiday, Kristina could only hope she would be able to not snap at him at all, at least not yet.

And yet, she could feel the anger stirring now inside her. Pushing it aside, Kristina looked up to the Professor to find he had been in the middle of allowing papers to fly back into their proper drawers. Though upon finally completeing this task, Professor Malfoy had commented once again on what Kristina could see in James.

At this, Kristina glared pure daggers at him. Being unable to hold her tounge much longer, she pushed the chair back and stood up in one swift movement. Taking a step forward, she stood now in front of the teachers desk - on the opposite side Professor Malfoy had been - and allowing both her hands to fall on either side of the desk, she leaned forward slightly.

"What I see in James is none of your cocnern. Why would it be?" she asked in a deadly whisper. "Does it bother you that I am with him?" she demanded, her voice still low and dangerous. Though at this question, the image of their kiss had flashed once again into her eyes. "No...Don't answer that." she added. "Because I know it does just kill you to see me with him. After all, you had been the one to kiss me. It would bother you to find that me and James were dating after you had kissed me."

Okay so she hadn't lasted a minute without being able to snap something at him, but now she didn't seem to care. No amount of detentions in the world would be enough to silence her now.

"You had no right at all to kiss me like that!" at this, one hand fell away from the desk to rest inside her cloak pocket, wrapping itself around her wand. "Unless you forgot..." now her hand came free of her pocket, holding tightly to the wand. "There's a rule about that whole teacher and student relationship thing. One word to Father about it and you could as quickly be fired."

Draco sneered at the girl that was now standing in front of him, across the desk from him. And yet in the same state of mind as him. How dare she even think of saying something as evil as that. He didn't really care that she was going out with James, at least that's what he kept telling himself. He was only curious, yeah that's it. He was curious as to why a gril like her would go out with a scumbag that was just like his Father and Grandfather and that was still as close minded as them, in a way that made any one person want to hurl.

But what struck that thin line that ranged between his heart and his mind, the one that held his vocal cords in the center, was her last comment about the kiss. He had thought that they had agreed to forget about that night. He had been telling himself for almost every day for three months, that that night never existed. And now here, this Gryffindor girl had brought this up again. The memory sweared back into his mind as quickly as if it had never left his mind at all.

His hand that was in his robes previously pulled out his wand and pointed it at her. ((That was not meant to be what I know you're thinking.)) "How dare you!" He was going to disarm her, but the spell was [b]baffled[/s] stifled in his mouth. His hand gripped tigheter on the [s]wooden stick[/i] wand. ((Stop laughing!))

"You have no idea how I feel! What if I was-" he threw his hands up in the air in utter frusteration, "-Nevermind...Don't answer that..." he mumbled, mostly to himself at this point. "Besides," he mumbled, "You wouldn't have the guts to tell your Father. He wouldn't believe you. You have lost your Father's trust, and I am almost sure that he would believe a Professor that he had hired. With a lying disposition, and a boyfriend that wants nothing more then to snog you." He swiftly walked around the desk, standing only inches away from where the girl was standing. He grabbed the hilt of her wand and part of her hand in his in his empty hand and whispered manically, "You have no hope..."

There was just something about Professor Malfoy that Kristina completely despised at the current moment in time. Perhaps it had been the way he hadn't completely reacted to anything she had said, or the simple fact that she just didn't like him or the fact that she was stuck in the same room as him for another hour or so at the most. She couldn't stand another moment of being forced to look into his cold gray eyes anymore. There was just something about his eyes or perhaps just the thought of being in the presents of him that bothered Kristina to know in. But perhaps deeper down, it wasn't as though she hated him so much for any of the above reasons. Perhaps it had been the entire fact that deep down inside herself she felt more then hatred toward the Professor across from her.

Though, she would never have been the first to admit it - mainly for the fact if word got out she would have been in a lot more trouble then what she wanted - but there was just something about Professor Malfoy. Perhaps it was the way he looked at her on a day-to-day basis that sent shivers down her spine. But it wasn't those 'I'm afraid of you' shivers that most kids got when they thought they saw a monster creeping in their room. It had been the kind of shivers that would make someone happy. Though why anyone would be happy to have shivers going down the length of their spine was beyond Kristina, but she had been one of the first few to have felt happy about it.

As Professor Malfoy started speaking again, though this time showing his frusteration - either toward her or himself - by throwing his hands up into the air, Kristina felt herself not just listening to the angry Professor's words. She found herself now just staring deep into his cold gray eyes. Though, looking passed those cold gray eyes now, Kristina didn't find a hint of coldness, or even hatred. It was somewhere deep within his eyes that she felt something else. Perhaps longing?

No...She shook her head as the thought came to her mind and instantlly she forced herself to pay more attention to his words, though by the time she did realize he was talking again, she quickly noticed the fact he was now holding onto his own wand. How he had gotten it without her knowing was beyond her, but she felt not a bit afraid about him or whether he would disarm her, or do anything worse (-.-wink.gif It wasn't until she had brought her gaze to linger back up to Draco that Kristina noticed he was walking around the desk toward her. In one swift movement he had grabbed her wrist which held her arm wand. She struggled against his grip for a moment before calming down at his next few words.

"You don't know what or who my Father would believe..." Kristina whispered to him, her eyes glaring at him still - though softer then previously -

It wasn't but a moment later that Kristina realized one thing still. Her wand had still be pointing at him. Through this entire time, she could have easily gotten away from him, and yet she had been too distracted by his words to even try. But now that the thought was back into her mind, she wouldn't allow herself to leave it this way. She seemed rather bent on ticking him off that night and what better way?

"Flipindo!"

It wasn't but with a white blast from her wand that sent the Professor knocked backwards. Though in the process of doing this, there had been one thing Kristina had not accounted for. She had expected that his grip on her hand would have been released as he was sent backwards. It was just a minor fluke in her plans, though just big enough that could cost her dearly later on.

The two were sent backwards, pushing to the floor with Draco on the bottom and Kristina laying just on top of him.

Draco Malfoy had not seen this coming. He had thought that the Gryffindor girl would have backed down and not attacked her. Of course, though he could now use the fact that she had just attacked a professor on school grounds against her. Though, in this position, there was not a lot that Draco could do or think that didn’t involve things that he shouldn’t be thinking of toward a student. Draco grunted, and tried to grab for his wand, and maybe to get back at her real quick.

Though, looking over toward his desk, he realized that now that it had fallen in the impact of the spell that Kristina had sent at him, and it was now deep underneith his desk. He sighed and tried to move under her, and realized that his girl weighed more than she looked. He sighed. “Why must these things always happen to me?” he asked quietly, and trying to make it sound as if it were to himself, though he couldn’t care if she had wanted to comment on it.

He had never thought in his entire life, after being married for a while and having two children that he were very proud of ₋ even if he didn’t say anything to them ₋, and being able to get a job in place of a person that he had looked up to for a good deal of his life… He had never thought that he would be laying on the floor of his classroom with one of his - obviously younger than him – on top of him. All of this being after she had tried to attack him. His head hit the floor as he stared into the ceiling, trying to think all of this out. Nothing in his mind clicked at first, and even after that nothing came to him. He was stuck, something he hadn’t thought would happen with this girl, and she hadn’t even tried.

Then, looking up, he realized that this wasn’t all that bad of a predicament. He smirked and raised a hand, placing it on her head and playing with a strand of hair. “I don’t suppose you would want to kiss me now, would you?” he asked, chuckling to himself and raising himself just a bit so that their faces were inches apart. “Not that I would care of your answer,” he whispered into her ear and kissed her cheek playfully. The Potion’s Master patted her head a bit and their lips came in contact. He smiled.

There had been something about the attack that Kristina had not expected to happen to herself. In the process of attacking the rather evil Professor, Kristina had now accounted for the fact he wouldn't let go of her arm as he was pushed backwards. Now, it was a simple flaw in her plans, but one that could ruin her all the same. She hadn't felt right about her current situation now laying on top of her Potions teacher, and yet she couldn't bringer herself to sit up or move away from him.

There was just something though about being on top of him that made Kristina feel a bit uncomfortable, but there was just something at the back of her mind that told her she was actually enjoying herself more then what she appeared to be. And perhaps that was the part of her that was after all telling the truth. After all, had it not been but minutes before that Kristina had another thought about the Professor? This thought a not completely bad though. It had been the thought earlier that made her think there was more to what she was feeling toward her Professor then she was willing to let onto.

And of course, being Kristina she wouldn't be willing to confess her true feelings toward the Professor. She wouldn't be able to open up that much to say she might have like liked him. There was no way, no how, nothing that-

Oh god...But his eyes...Those gorgeous gray eyes staring into her chocolate brown eyes. It was in those deep gray eyes that Kristina found more than anger. Was he not entirely angry with her for having atacked him? Perhaps, like she, he was completely enjoying himself.

Her thoughts were soon interrupted when she felt a hand reach to the side of her face. His other hand went for her hair and for once Kristina found she had not retracted from the touch. In fact, a part of her was even willing to admit she liked feeling his soft touch on her like that. But again, she wouldn't have been able to admit that even to him.

His next comment was one that Kristina found as a bit of a surprise even to herself. The comment about her caring whether they kissed. Her mouth opened to reply with 'I wouldn't mind' but she found the words lost in her throat as he leaned down and kissed her on the cheek playfully. Her eyes lit up at the kiss and almost instantlly she found herself being lifted into cloud nine. "I wouldn't mind..." she brought herself to whisper as she lifted her own hand and allowed her cool skin to rest on his cold cheek. She was now becoming the fire that would keep him warm...Perhaps not just within the classroom now.

It seemed as if Draco was overjoyed as he felt Kristina’s hand on his cheek, kissing him back. He had thought that she would have struggled, or hit him at least to try and get away from this perverted teacher that wouldn’t let her be for two seconds. Her hand was warm against his cheek, and he couldn’t help but lean into it as the kiss continued on. As he pulled away from Kristina, he couldn’t help but place one last – if not extremely short – peck on her lips. “I’m sure James would love to see us this way,” he noted to the Gryffindor girl, his lips turning into a stiff smile.

It had been such a long time since Draco had been in this position with another girl. He had not thought that he would even again, even. Though, if he had thought that he would, the Potion’s Master had no idea that it would be with one of his students — the Headmaster’s daughter, even! Draco cursed as a pang of guilt and regret shimmered through his body, taking over his mind. He didn’t need this – not now. He would be fired if anyone found out that he had even looked at her the wrong way, and here he was on the floor with the Gryffindor girl in his lap and having just gotten through with kissing her.

Chuckling, the Potion’s Master put his hands on the ground and pushed up, pulling both him and Kristina to a sitting position on the floor of the potion’s classroom. She was sitting in his lap now, and Draco had just now realized that her wand was gone as well as his. Suddenly, the door in the back of the room that led to the hallway creaked, opening just slightly. Draco unconsciously held his breath, praying that no one would walk through the door and see him like this – a Hogwarts professor holding one of his students in this way. Thankfully, though, no one walked through. He sighed. “Breeze . . . ” he mumbled beneath his breath.

He wanted to stand up, walk over, and shut the door, but something held him in that spot. His lips turned up slightly. Looking down, Draco pulled Kristina’s face to meet his by her chin. Kissing her gently, he pulled back and made a motion as if she could get up now so that they could stand. “Detention’s over with now. You may leave now,” he said after noticing her wand laying under one of the desks in the first row. Truth is, he did want to be up off the cold stone floor, but he didn’t want her to leave just yet. Then again, his gut was telling him to wrap this up, for he had already committed crimes worth going to Azkaban before he joined up as a professor, and he didn’t need anyone finding out about what had happened between Kristina Lupin and him.

(You just had to do this to me, didn't you? *needs to change Kristina's relationship with Draco in a moment T.T)

There was just something about this moment in time that brought Kristina back down from her rather high cloud. Though, it still didn't change the scene before her. If anything, it seemed to have lifted her spirits a little more then what was really necessary for the moment. Oddly enough, she no longer felt hatred or even anger toward the Professor that had given her a night of detention on the Christmas Holidays. If anything, Kristina had been a bit glad about this fact.

Her thoughts had returned to the Professor just in enough time that she felt him kiss her at least slightly on her lips. Almost instnatlly, Kristina could feel a blush creeping up her cheeks and for a moment she contemplated turning away for the time. But if she had, she would have missed Draco's comment and his slight smile. Damn how she loved that smile...It was a rarity that he smiled and it made him just the more cuter now that he did smile. "Forget about him..." Kristina said softly, bringing herself to rest on Draco's chest, now listening to his gentle heart beat. "He doesn't have to find out..."

There was just something odd about the entire scene now that brought Kristina to a sudden realization. She had even admitted it herself just minutes ago. If anyone at all found the two of them had kissed even once they were both in trouble. Draco mostly. He would most likely get fired and possibly sent to Azkaban for it. It seemed bad now that she thought about it a bit more. The one she had spent for a few minutes on the floor would cause both of them a lot. Now that she had done so, Kristina felt a bit sorry, not only for attacking Draco but now for allowing him to kiss her. But it wasn't just him. She had kissed him back.

Kristina lifted her head slightly when she felt Draco move and lift the two of them up into a sitting position. Still though, Kristina was sitting on Draco's lap. And for the slightest moment, she looked upset about this. Truthfully, she would have prefered the cold stone floor beneath the two of them. However, this thought soon vanished as they both heard the door creak open. Reluctantly, Kristina broke her gaze away from Draco now and came to rest on the door. She returned her gaze to the Professor when he muttered it was just a breeze.

Smiling slightly, Kristina set her gaze to rest on her wand which was now under a desk. Getting it would mean she would have to leave the comfort of Professor Malfoy's lap, and that something not worth doing. She thought for a moment before an idea came to her mind. Reluctantly, reached forward a little ways to find she couldn't reach the wand yet. She crawled off Draco's lap and over to her wand before returning to Draco and sitting back down on his lap. Waving her wand now, the door across the room closed and locked.

Her gaze returned to Draco and Kristina found her smile had disappeared as he announced detention was over. She looked both startled and upset by this and shook her head almost like a stubburn child before warapping her arms around Draco. "Not yet.." she said softly, "Just a bit longer..." she placed a small kiss on his cheek before resting her head on him once agian. "Please?" she added.

Reluctantly, Kristina realized one thing wrong here. They were both still sitting on the cold stone floor when they could have at least been sitting somwhere nicer. Slowly, she let go of Draco and stood up, holding out her hand to him to help him stand up. All the while though, she cotninued smiling at him.

"Perhaps the floor IS getting a bit too cold," she reasoned politely. "But....I'd like to stay for a bit longer..." she brought her gaze to rest on the clock in the room, "Besides...I've only been here for thirty minutes. Everyone will think it's strange that I got to leave so early." she reasoned.

Draco couldn’t help but chuckle as the girl in his lap pressed off her boyfriend as if he was the most insignificant thing in the world. Before, she would have defended him no matter what the Potion’s Master had said about him, and yet now it was the complete opposite. To Draco, this was somewhat of a miracle, and yet he had second thoughts about this whole idea. Kristina loved James, and Draco had no right to stand in between their relationship. Yet, something inside of him thought that this was the right thing. It had to be.

The Potion’s Master was in trouble now. He had two options, both as hard as the other, and he had no idea which one to choose. He could send Kristina away, let her be with James, and pretend like this had never happened. Then again, he would always love her, and he had no idea why. Or, he could meet with her in secret, and they wouldn’t tell of their forbidden relationship to anyone. Of course, that choice had so many dangerous turns to it, that it frightened Draco to no end. His father had told him once about what it was like within Azkaban’s walls, and he made it sound so horrific that Draco never wanted to even think of being there. It was said to be wizard hell.

As Kristina pulled off of Draco to get her wand, Draco had a thought to jump up and tell her to get out. He would be safe then, and wouldn’t have to go down a hard and narrow road to loving her. Though he had every intention and every thought to, Draco couldn’t force himself to push this lovely Gryffindor girl away, no matter what lied behind the veil of his new life. This would mean that he would be continually running from James, the Headmaster, Azkaban, and many other things in his life all for one girl, and yet it didn’t seem to scare him very much as he looked into her deep brown eyes.

Even though the girl in front of him had a hand out to help the Potion’s Master up from the cold floor, his manly pride as at stake, and he stood on his own, ignoring the hand that was sent out to him. Draco smiled as they both stood in the Potion’s classroom. He was glad to be off the floor, as it was freezing cold down in this dungeon, and he didn’t want to explain to the Headmaster how his daughter had gotten a cold if she was wearing perfectly warm clothes. Draco blinked at this thought, a transparent pink blanket flowing over his cheeks – though not noticeable.

Draco moved over and hugged Kristina to his chest to warm her, kissing her head and thinking to himself. His fingers entwined with hers as his head fell to rest on hers. “All right. You may stay a bit longer, but my classroom isn’t the best to be in at this time of year. The cold leaks in,” Draco pointed out, not insinuating anything but that she really needed to go. He would be able to see her some other time, but his room was still a mess, and he had no idea of how to clean it up by tonight, as he had papers to grade.

There was just something about the entire situation within the Dungeons that made Kristina stop and think for a moment. As she stood above Draco, her hand being held out as if to help him up, her mind was spinning with thoughts. There were so many things that was wrong the scene right before her. The fact that she was actually falling for a Professor above all else had been one of those wrong. If word got out that either of them had done something wrong, Draco would be sent away to Azkaban at the very most. At the very least, he would be fired from Hogwarts, which would do nothing to Kristina but force her thoughts away from Draco. There were far too many bads about the situation that it outweighed the goods.

However, above all else Kristina was a rather sturrburn person. She wouldn't easily give up on anything. She would do anything in her power to stay with Draco, even if it meant she would have to leave school to do so. There was just something in the back of her mind that told her this would be the better of the few options she could think of, but for now she wouldn't need to worry about it. As long as no one at all knew what the two of them were doing, then they couldn't really cause any harm, could they? Honestly...As long as know one found out they didn't need to jump to conclusions.

Her brown eyes focused once agian on Draco as he stood back up on his own accord - not bothering to take her hand - Understandable. Kristina smiled slightly as she let her hand drop back down to her side before allowing Draco to wrap her into a hug. At this time she became almost speechless for a few short minutes. She allowed her own words fall back and left forgotten for a few short minutes as she felt her cheeks grow hot and quickly realizing she was once again blushing. Allowing her eyes to close as she laid her head on Professor Malfoy, she willed the blush to subside, and once it had she opened her eyes and felt Professor Malfoy kiss the top of her head before suggesting hsi room was far too cold.

A dozen remarks came to mind at this point in time, and yet none of them seemed suitable for the time being. So for the time, Kristina was silent as she thought of a quick solution. Again the only one she thought of wasn't what she could call...safe...in any way, especially when it envolved the two of them and a bed. No. That would simply not do. She would have to think of something else...

"How about your office?" she made it a question rather then a statement. "Your office is nice and warm." she concluded, allowing all other thoughs to disappear.

Draco Malfoy blinked as the Gryffindor girl noted about his office. Of course, it was a good idea for her, and he wouldn’t mind heading to his office with her in tow. Though, it wasn’t much of a romantic place. With such a place to ask to go to, it had seemed as if she had never been in his office before. He had often thought to make his office a dark and frightful place, so as to keep students from wanting to enter through his dark mahogany door to disturb him. And he took this into consideration in decorating the place. Though, he wouldn’t mind her company in his bedroom, he doubted himself to ask her to accompany him there. He would not want to seem as some old pervert who wanted nothing but to sleep with her. No, he would have to take her to his office, even though how vulgar he remembered it looks.

Draco looked at Kristina and smiled beside himself. Holding up a hand, he ran his fingers through her hair and nodded. “If you would prefer it, then we shall go to my office,” he said, hoping that the dark room wouldn’t offend her in any way, but make her feel welcomed that he would bring her into such a room. Draco laced his fingers with Kristina’s and kissed her hand before walking her out the door and to the left, down two doors and to a large door. The potion’s master pulled out a key and unlocked it, as he kept it locked tight during the months that the students were free and out of classes.

As the Hogwarts professor and the Gryffindor student walked into his office, a large room was shown behind a large mahogany door. A dark-wooded desk and chair sat furthest in the back, just close to a daimond cut window in a half oval frame. The drapes were closed in around it, only letting a little amount of light through. Plastered around the walls were matching shelves that striped the walls like a horizontal zebra. On these were many upon many glass jars full of potion ingredients; aconite, bicorn parts, lovage, fluxweed, ginger, and the like. On the stone floor was a deep red rug that led to a large fireplace that was place on the right wall. Two gothic made sconce’s were placed in the room, one on each side adjacent to the door and the window.

As the two of them entered, Draco walked over and shut the cupboard, before pulling out a bottle of pumpkin juice and two cups. He sat these down on a small table close to the fireplace and summoned up two chairs that were hidden behind the cupboard. “I do hope that you enjoy pumpkin juice. I apologise that it is all that I have other than firewhiskey,” he said as he pulled out one of the chairs like a gentleman and allowed her to sit down before pushing her back in. With a wave of his wand, the door to the office / storage room was shut and locked yet again. With a sigh, Draco sat down on the opposite side of the table as Kristina, pouring her a glass full of pumpkin juice and neglecting himself.
