Defense Against Dart Arts A favorite class for most of everyone that wishes to learn how to defend themselves against the Dark Arts. Here you will learn about the proper spells and how to fight back against someone under the teachings of Professor Harry Potter. You will learn about hexes, shields, dissarming spells, and much, much more while still in a friendly and safe enviorment. Transfiguration Another great class to take if you ever need to transform something into an object. Here you will learn how to turn a simple rat into a goblet, how to change the color of your own hair and much, much more. Be careful though, any of these spells can backfire on you. Potions A class that mostly Slytherins favor, mostly due to the fact the Professor is also the Slytherin Head of House. Here you'll be able to learn how to make complicated potions such as a Love Potion and a Felix Felices while under the teachings of Professor Malfoy. Care of Magical Creatures As the name suggests this is the class you will attend to learn about the proper care of different Magical Creatures. Here you'll meet all kinds of creatures like Unicorns, but do not fear all of these creatures are safe for Hogwarts students to encounter. Ancient Runes If you're not really interested in learning about the past or if you do not like interpreting runes then this probably isn't the right class for you. You'll learn how to translate runes into English and you'll have homework that will mostly be interpreting runes and translating things into English. Flying For anyone that has any interest in Quidditch or just likes to be on a broom flying high into the air, then this is the right class for you. You'll learn how to fly on a broom, you'll also learn how to play Quidditch. B careful though, flying so high in the air can always be a dangerous task. Muggle Studies For those brave enough and think they can handle learning about muggles, you might be suited best for this class. Here you will learn about how Muggles lived and also find out some interesting fact that go along with the Muggles. Arithmancy This is a branch of magic that is concerned with magical properties and numbers. In this class students are required to write a lot of essays and be able to understand complicated number charts. This class will be taught by Professor Granger. Astronomy If you have any interest learning about stars and planets then this could possibly be the best class for you. You'll be required to fill out a star chart showing where planets are located and where some of the stars are also found. For homework you will be required to write essays about different planets. Charms This is the perfect class for anyone who is interested in learning about charms, such as how to levitate objects, open up locked doors, and much more. You should have no trouble with this class as it's one of the easiest class, so long as you know what you're doing. Be careful though, because if you mess up in the charm it might backfire on you. Divination This course is only offered to third years and higher. Here under the teachings of Professor Firenez you'll learn about astonomy while also discovering that hwo has anything to do with telling the future. Herbology Under the teachings of Professor Longbottom, you will learn about different magical plants. These plants can be a very good thing to have because a lot of them help Madam Pomfrey in the Hospital Wing. History of Magic Although this might not be the most interesting of all of your Hogwarts classes, it could be one that is important to you. As the name suggests you'll learn about the history of magic such as some important wars that took place and about some of the famous witches and wizards, even trolls and goblins might pop up.
