Original Character Profile Application
-About You- Your Name: Everine Longbottom Other Characters: None How Often Can You Get On?: I would say... 5 hours on weekdays, around 9 on weekends. This is the amount of of time I have, and normally I log in the whole time I'm on when I RP on forums. How Did You Find Us?: I found you guys through Shane's profile on KHRPF.
-The Surface- Name: Everine Longbottom Birthday: November 18, 1997 Age: 10 [Aren't I required to be 10 for first year?] Gender: Male House: Ravenclaw Appearance:
Luna and Neville produced quite the unusual child, the youngest of his other siblings. Everine has vibrant dark green hair, like a dull jade or pure envy, while his eyes are a hazelish color, brown around the pupil and then blue surrounding that. The brown always seems to shift and swirly, and the blue seems to shudder too make his eyes a hard thing to stop staring at. He is pale and skinny, but tall for his age, already five feet. He has a teenage structure to his face, and basically looks at least thirteen from the whole outlook.
Everine of course wears the mandatory black robe with a blue and bronze tie, along with black dress pants and black dress shoes. When he isn't on campus and in the dorm rooms, out of classes, he wears a half blue half green shirt with the sleeves going around two inches past his hands. He wears simple blue jeans and green and white tennis shoes to finish off the outfit.
His hair lightly dusts his shoulders on the sides, but his messy around the front and back, with eye length bangs. His tie is always right in place, but since he often walks briskly to classes, and sometimes runs if he's late it ends up lopsided or askew. On the rare occasionas, such as formal dances and such, he combs his hair in the down and the hair in the back down to his neck. Normally, the hair on the back of his head hovers up and spikes away from his neck, as if the window has blown it. It has just always been this way.

-The Wand- Wood: Reed Core: Demiguise Hair Size: 5" Apptitude: Transfiguration
-Under the Surface- Personality:
Everine was always the quiet of the family, and although he shares Neville's last name, he really has none of his features. Neville's black hair however had tainted Luna's platinium blonde hair to somehow create Everine's vibrant dark green hair. He gets his smarts and dreamer-self from Luna, although he didn't get her airyness. He was one of the many of his siblings that had gotten into Ravenclaw like his mom. Everine was never much of a robust person, calm and collected, even serene, but loved having his friends around him.
Although he is normally quiet and public he's quite talkative around his friends and in the common room. Even though he is new to Hogwarts, he feels connected to it in someway. He has always been bright in school and thinks that magic will treat him the same way. But who knows, anything can happen when magic is involved.
The class that Everine is most looking forward to his Transfiguration, and next to that, Charms. He knew that transfiguring things with magic changed them to something else, and he would love experimenting with all the different possibilites. He, as he always has been, will be eager to learn everything his teachers have to teach.
Everine is very booky, he loves to read and study interesting things. He started to be able to read small sentences at two, and at by the time kindergarten came around, he was the top reader in the class. By now he creates his own short stories and would love to one day write a novel. He hopes that this year he will be required to read quite a bit both for pleasure and understanding. History:
Everine grew up with in a nice family and had a nice childhood. His parents were Luna and Neville Longbottom, and they were so nurturing and loved that he was always eager to learn. When he had just learned to walk he was prancing around and counting to one hundred, acting as if it was the greatest accomplishment of the world. Luna secretely taught him things farther, even let him practice some with her wand when he had reached six years old. Now, four years later he is more mature and able to do magic he had learned beforehand. Back then times had been so merry, aside from the story his parents told him.
Apparently they had been great heroes and had helped Mr. Potter [a teacher at Hogwarts] defeat the great Lord Voldemort. His name used to be cursed, and had once had a taboo on it, but now it was said jokingly all the time. Everyone knew he couldn't return after having returned and presumably died hundreds of times back in the old days. He was gone for good and the Wizarding world was happy. While the Muggle world was in turmoil over global warming and such, the Wizarding world went on as normal as they ever had. The pleasant Pureblood Longbottoms went on with life as they always had, until it came time for Everine to go to school.
The familiar hustle and bustle for supplies went on yet again as it did each year, but now it was Everine's turn. Luna, Neville, Everine and his siblings all traveled down to Diagon Alley to find the best supplies, for you see their fame had gained them quite a large fraction of Harry's inheritance and donations from their town's citizens. After they were done shopping for supplies, they bought Everine a red-wood colored owl with sparkling blue eyes. He named this owl Dedree and they left Diagon Alley to their home, Everine talking the whole way to his new familiar friend.
Once they were home, his letter came in and the following day they hurried to the train to drop Everine off. He was the only one in the family born on his year, and thus was alone when he boarded the train on Platform Nine and Three Quarters. He found a small cozy compartment with no one in it, shut the sliding door [and locked it], and went to the seat to the right nearest the window. He peered out to his parents and waved, but when the train started and his brothers and sisters raced after it, he had pulled out a novel he had recently started and read.
-Anything Extra- Roleplay Sample:
Everine flipped through the next few pages in his book, skimming the words that he would be reading. After just five pages the book had ended, and the Hogwarts Express was nearing Hogwarts. Everine finished it in the next three minutes, and hurriedly threw the book in his bag. Robes automatically appeared hooked to a rack in front of him, which shocked him to sliding across his seat to the sliding door. He shakily got up and walked to the hook sticking out of the compartment box.
He quickly slid the robe off and saw that it its tag was rather large, and it said "Open for Instant Clothing". He pulled the flap up curiously, and he heard a small poofing sound. The robe disppeared from the coat hanger it was on, and appeared on himself. Now on the coat hanger was his normal everyday clothes, which he put into his suitcase. The robe fit snugly on him, maybe a size larger than it should, but otherwise he was extremely excited to be going to a school of magic. He just couldn't wait to see what he'd be learning.
With an eager stumble he climbed out of his compartment as soon as the Hogwarts Express had stopped completely, the loud yet pleasant sounding ringing of the horn shooting of steam into the night air. He scrambled down the train, the first to exit and the first to be out of the compartment. Although his suitcase was a bit heavy, he managed to step right up to the person taking first years to the school.
He saw that there was a very large lake that he was apparently going to cross. Once he'd entered the boat, it automatically started to move forward. Oars on either side of him moved in a rythmic motion by themselves, probably by magic. There were two girls and another guy in the same boat with him, and they were just as mystified as he at the giant castle of Hogwarts that was closing in, along with the water ruffling about around them. They saw shapes pass the surface, and one large shape almost filled the hole lake directly under their boat. Then, they had reached the castle. WOO!
