( Well, I posted in Down Once More that George'd meet Lexi at Hogsmeade...if anyone else wants to join in, I'll let them. If I put this in the wrong forum (and I guess I did) say the word and I'll move this.)

Day: Night of the day of Down Once More ( I'm so tired I can't talk again...I feel dead )
Where: Hogsmeade
Time: 10:25 PM
Weather: Heavy rain, dark skies, thunder and lightning

George sat on a bench, waiting patiently and looking around. He held up an umbrella to shield himself from the cold rain; as he looked into the sky, he muttered, "Not good, bad weather's always an ill omen.". He had dressed himself in a yellow-spotted burgundy doublet, a blue leather jerkin, dark trousers, a black cloak and leather boots--the same clothes George I wore on the day of his death. The broken sword was on his back, along with a reforged shield. He was holding the horn.

George sighed, and got up; then he blew the Horn, and a loud, strong noise filled the village. He then sat down, now half convinced that Lexi'd never arrive to join him.

Lexi walked carefully through the Village picking her way through the mud. She had used the "impervious" spell she had learned in Charms class to keep her clothes dry from the rain{she was wearing a long black Hogwarts cape and underneath she had a warm sweater and jeans} , but her head was still going to get wet so she had a small black unbrella to keep her head dry. "this is terrible weather." she thought to herself as she peered into the darkness looking for George. She had hear his horn and knew he couldn't be far ahead. "George?" she called out in a whisper "are you there?"

"Lexi? That you?"George shouted into the darkness, hope burning in his heart. He put his horn away, and then stumbled in the darkness like a blind man for half a minute before finding her. "There you are,"he said, relieved. "I've got the map, let's go! The Stargate shouldn't be too far from here, we might even be able to beat half-uncles Hirgon and Bob and their men to it if we hurry."he said, pulling the map out. he then sprinted into the darkness, reading the map.

Miranda, was leaning on the side of a tree, facing the opposite direction as the older students. She let out a light yawn as the rain drenched her hair. 'How can I be yawning when I'm so nervous?' she wondered while scanning her surroundings, not noticing anyone. 'I guess I can't be too sure since it's so dark and everything.'

"I've got the map, let's go! The Stargate shouldn't be too far from here, we might even be able to beat half-uncles Hirgon and Bob and their men to it if we hurry."

The Slytherin peered out from her hiding place to see if Lexi was leaving also, keeping an eye on the shrinking from sight mass that was George. 'I hope they're not too fast...' she thought appehensively, 'It definately wouldn't be too great if I got lost...'

Lexi grinned as George stumbled up to her "yeah its me..."
"I've got the map, let's go! The Stargate shouldn't be too far from here, we might even be able to beat half-uncles Hirgon and Bob and their men to it if we hurry."
"whoa...your uncle is going too? That can't be good." Lexi wrinkled her face in distast as she thought of George's crazy uncle bob....but never-the-less she started walking with him saying "how long should it be 'till we get there?"

"Don't worry, half-uncle Hirgon will keep him quiet 'til they get to the Stargate. I'm almost sure that they've taken at least five Knights with them, if they have we'll never beat them to half-uncle Madril's camp. Once we're there, I'm positive this journey's gonna be twice as dangerous, goblins are watching the Lesser River and Madril's men might mistake us for goblins and shoot us from the watch towers.'.

'Half-uncle Anthony and his men have said that at the Lonely Island the Red Caps have established a vast underground kingdom and amassed a strong force, which we think is aimed at the Stargate. The closer we get to the Blue Havens, the new heart of this cursed goblin kingdom, the more perilous this journey gets. Those goblins have been building up an army and thinking up plans for almost two centuries now; if they attack the White Havens I'll have to stop the adventure and join the defenders.'.

He breathed heavily after saying all this, and ran off into the darkness. He sighed, "I can't run anymore, my legs feel like...lead,"he panted several minutes later, wiping sweat off his brow. "I'm flying, Accio...broom,"he gasped, pulling out a waterskin (is that the right word?) and drinking some of the water in it. His broom flew into his hand, got on it, and laughed a tired laugh before taking off into the air.

Lexi rolled her eyes George was just chock full of bad news tonight. "hey wait for me." she saqid pulling out her wand "Accio Firebolt" she waited a few second then as her broom arrived she hopped on and flew next to George "will flying be better...I mean it'll be faster right? then we can beat them and maybe we won't get shot at."

George flew ahead of Lexi, looking for dangers that should be avoided. He spotted a wedge of about five horsemen charging ahead of 10 other men on on foot, a banner carrier on horseback leading them. There was a stooped figure bringing up the rear that looked an awful lot like Bob. The banner carrier and Bob were arguing; George said, "Don't fly low, we're gonna get mistaken for goblins.".

"I'm flying, Accio...broom."

"Hey, wait for me. Accio Firebolt."

"Cr@p," Miranda murmured. She had been running to keep up with the others once she saw that Lexi was following George. 'What should I do...?' she thought, panicking, 'What can I do?'

"Maybe I can try to summon a school broom..." she mumbled to herself, snatching out her wand. "Accio $#!++y Hogwarts broom," Miranda said, trying to keep her voice down, but say the spell with some froce behind it. To her amazement, a broom actually did come after a minute or so. The eleven-year-old let loose a pleased smile as she hopped on and took after Lexi and George, who were obviously quite a distance away by that time.

George flew on, til he spotted a camp of dark-green tents, surrounded by high stone walls and stout towers, with a hard iron gate. About 15 men were walking around, keeping watch, or practicing swordplay in it. Bob's forces were closing in on the camp.

Lexi looked down feeling slightly alarmed "whats going on?" she whispered to George watching the men in the camp.

"Relax, those are just half-uncle Madril's men,"George laughed, flying low into a small forest, which was just a few feet away from the camp. He buried his broom, and walked up to the camp. Someone yelled, from one of the towers, "I think I see someone, sir! Should I shoot it, sir?". A cold, hard voice answered, "No, don't shoot it...at least, not yet. We'll have to interrogate it first, then I'll cut him to pieces.". George thought of something quickly, and picked up a stick and a used napkin outside the camp.

He put the two items together to make a white flag, and waved it. The man in the tower shouted, "It's surrendering, sir! Should we let it in?". The hard voice answered, "Not yet, I'll see who it is.". The gates creaked loudly, and opened; and then a stooped figure, just a bit taller than George, strode out of the camp, holding a bow. A quiver was tied to his back, and he groped for an arrow while shoting, "Who are you?".

"Relax, half-uncle Madril! it's your half-nephew, George II son of Alexander!"George shouted, dropping the white flag. "Oh, it's you,"Madril laughed, lowering his bow. He strode forward, and revealed himself to be a tall and thin, seemingly old man, with long, lank grey hair, coal-black eyes and wrinkled skin, dressed in dark brown clothes and a green cloak. "Any companions?"Madril grunted.

Lexi held out her hand towards her broom and levitated it into a tree instead of burying it. "there we go.." she thought walking forward and standing just behind George. "Any companions?" Lexi stepped forward and said "I suppose that would mean me."

"So who is she?"Madril grunted. George answered, "Lexi Stevens, she's from Hogwarts.". "Alright, well, I doubt you two mean any harm, and if you do you've got 15 stout-hearted men and me to face."he laughed. "Come on in."he grunted, walking back into the camp, with George following behind.

The camp was quite large, with many green tents and a larger silver-lined purple one that seems to be Madril's. There was a well, a large golden tent containing plenty of provisions--apples, grapes, ham, wine and water--and a great bronze statue of a horseman in the camp as well. The men inside were clad in steel armor, and wielded different weapons; some had broadswords and shields, others had a pike and shield, and three or for were archers.

Madril grunted to a pair of swordsmen, "You two have got enough rest, get back to your places at the river,". They got up, bowed and said, "Yes sir!" before running off into the darkess. "We got a pair of guests here!"Madril shouted. "My half-nephew and his companion."he added. The men nodded, though some had a disapproving look in their eyes.

Lexi felt the urge to laugh as she surveyed the men around her. "this is mad, I'm the only girl here and they probably think I'm bad luck...." she thought as she glanced down and contrasted her clothes to those of the men around her...armour..and her jeans with a pair of sturdy boots poking out under the bottom of her long black Hogwarts cloak. She looked at George and said "are we going to travel with them?"

Madril said, "Don't worry, they aren't gonna lay a finger on you two while I'm around. It's kinda late, I think you two ought to sleep here for t'night.". George nodded, whispering, "We can't go anywhere while there's this freezing rain, the Rivers are wild and we'll drown if we try and cross them now."to Lexi. "Great, I'll get your tents set up."Madril grunted, walking off.

Soon enough, a pair of white tents had been set up, and the men chucked kerosene lamps and grey sleeping bags inside them. Madril then grunted, "You can sleep in 'em for the night, I guess.".

Lexi stared at the tents for a moment then mumbled "I hope we don't get in trouble at school..." she walked over to the tent and lifted the flap "well I guess good night George." she said as she ducked inside.

But George had already run off with Madril. He had gone off to a large, mountain shaped building with no roof, and also housed several dozen blast and reverbatory furnaces. He said, "Wow, it feels really hot in here,"he gasped, wiping the brow from his sweat as he watched steel getting melted and turned into armor or weapons by half a dozen soldiers. "Well, what d'you expect? This is a furnace-house."Madril grunted.

A soldier then came forward, and dropped a brand-new razor sharp broadsword into Madril's hands. "Take this, sonny boy, a wand and a broken sword's no use in a melee,"he grunted, handing it to George, who then thanked him and left the hot furnace-house.

Lexi layed back against the sleeping bag and stared up at the roof wondering what would happen next, she felt a bit sleepy but she wasn't ready to fall asleep quite yet so she layed there...thinking.

George went into his tent, and put his sword away. It was still warm. He yawned, and then said, "See you t'morrow, Lexi.". But just as he was about to fall asleep, a loud horn-blast startled him. "What was that?!"he yelled, hurrying out of the tent, broadsword in hand.

The gates opened, and Bob and Hirgon's men streamed in, greeted by Madril's men. First came in the armored footmen, pikemen and archers; bringing up the rear were the armored knights, all of whom wore blue cloaks, held lances and square shields, and had sabres in scabbards fastened onto their gold-trimmed belts.

Leading them was Bob, dressed in blue and orange; at the rear was apparently Hirgon, who wore gold-trimmed steel armor and a helmet with a crest made out of white bird wings. He was riding a black stallion, and in one hand he held what seemed to be a longsword with a spear's 4-metre mahogany shaft; in the other he held up a blue banner with a golden two-headed eagle wearing white crowns. Hirgon laughed, "Ah, Madril, old friend! We meet again!". Bob merely grunted.
