A Moderator's Guide

Immunity Rule

• A moderator cannot use the warning system agains a fellow moderator
• Prefects, headboy/headgirl, and ambassadors cannot dock points from each other (RP and non-RP)
• HoH and Professors can deduct points from any prefect, headboy/headgirl, ambassador and students only in RP threads.
  
  Note:
• Admin and co-admin can deduct HP from anyone, including the moderators, in non-RP threads only.
• Abuse of authority will lead to demotion.

Penalty

Character-oriented
- violation by a character in an RP thread

• deduct HP
• detention (for HoH and professors only)

Player-oriented
- violation committed by a player in any threads (RP and non-RP)

• deduct HP
• howler (verbal warning)
  - warn a player through post. HM has a selection of preset messages for common violations.
• Warning system (please use with caution)
  - use the warning system for more serious violations.
  - three (3) howlers given to a player is equivalent to one (first degree) warning
  - violation committed after a warning will lead to another warning.
  - every warning leads to a more severe suspension.
  
  Note:
• Severity of violation depends on the moderator's discretion.
