Welcome to Hoggy Woggy Hogwarts! I hope that you will enjoy your stay here, and to make things go a bit more smoother for everyone, here are a few guidelines that we would like you to follow.

GENERAL

:: Please sign up with a first and last name. If you have already registered with an improper name before reading this, simply send a PM to either myself, Headmistress Asteria, or Professor Riley with the name you would like to have.

:: Make sure you claim your celebrity face in the Character Mirror. Any celeb not listed here will remain up for grabs until he/she has been claimed. Also, any member that is inactive for a month without letting the admin know of an absence will lose their claim.

:: Please remember to take the sorting quiz. All members not sorted within a month of joining will be deleted.

::Please respect all members of the site. 'Nuff said!

::You are required to have a signature, not only an avatar. The signature is required to portray your character. To request a signature by one oy our own artists go to the banner/avatar request section.


ROLEPLAY

:: We're aware that there are many different ways that people have learned to roleplay, and wanted to erase any confusion that may come about once your characters start to get active.
This site is a live roleplay.
What does this mean?
It means that your characters rp by walking into, landing, appearing...whatever, into one of the places already created on the site and picking up from there.
This method is used instead of the "find somebody to rp with and start a private thread with them" method.
It keeps things more organized, and it makes it easier to keep track of things that are going on in time. It also prevents us from having topics that were posted in once or twice and then forgotten due to inactivity.
I think we've explained it pretty well, but if you still have questions, feel free to PM any of the Professors.

:: Role Play is not real life. Please remember that the actions of someone's character towards yours does NOT reflect their opinion of you as a person. For example, many of us play enemies while in character on the site, but are actually very good friends out of character.

:: We very much encourage sub-plots. They help to keep things fresh and exciting. All we ask is that you give us a heads up, and PM either myself or Deputy Headmistress Asteria about what is going on, who is involved, etc. This way we can keep track of things easier, and make sure that nothing conflicts.

:: All new members will begin as first years. This means that you are thirteen years old (please see the plot for the explanation). Please remember this when you rp, especially when playing out scenes that could considered "adult" in nature. YOU'RE THIRTEEN! Just something to think about...
