Heart Of StarClan

Hi, people, I finally got around to changing the skins with some warriors stuff, the vast majority of it came from Warriors Wish or StarClan Secrets, as noted on the bottom of the page, but if it came from elsewhere, I will make note of it. Anyway, the background I cant decide if I like, its different compared to our usual black, but it may be a little too much, tell me what you guys think of it, or if you have a better one please! Anyway thanks to Warriors Wish and StarClan Secrets for making all this awesome warriors stuff. I just thought I’d post that -Skystar

Badgerpaw charged through the ThunderClan camp, oblivious to the angry yowls and disbelieving stares of the hostile Clan. She dodged a few warriors that stood in her way and tumbled into the medicine cat's den."Lionpelt!"Badgerpaw called franticely, her fur on end from the journey. The RiverClan apprentice's tail lashed desperately behind her, and she kneaded her paws impatiently on the ground."Lionpelt!I need help!"she called again.

Dawnfur padded out of the Warrior's Den at the sound of an apprentice's cry. The scent of RiverClan washed over her but Dawnfur took no notice. She was not as strict about clan boundries unless it was a group of full grown warriors. But one little apprentice was as harmless as a new born kit in an enemy clan's territory surrounded by ThunderClan cats. She trotted to the black and white apprentice, recognizing her from a gathering. "What's wrong Badgerpaw?" she asked gently. She had a soft spot for young cats. She had been a mother herself, and still was very fond of her litter even though they were full grown now.

Badgerpaw whipped around and spotted Dawnfur. She didn't stop to think, the situation was too dire for her to consider that this was no ThunderClanner's business but a medicine cat's."Shadeheart's haveing her kits! And Something's wrong! And we don't have a medicine cat!"she blurted out franticely.

Dawnfur's eyes widened and her ears flicked forward alertly. But she remained calm. Her mind raced to Lunarstone, who had been brokenhearted when Shadeheart had first died, and then seemed so gloomy when she had left to join RiverClan. He mustn't know. She lowered her voice just in case he was in camp. "Lionpelt has gone out somewhere. But I'll come. I was once the apprentice of a medicine cat, but I became a warrior instead. But I remember most of the herbs, I hope I can help." she replied to Badgerpaw.

Badgerpaw looked unsure."B-But you aren't a medicine cat now..."she meowed confusedly."StarClan doesn't put you beyond Clan boundaries."She was desperate for help, and was tempted to lead Dawnfur straight to camp, but didn't trust her fully yet.Besides, Morningstar would have bitten her head off.

"Yes, but I'm a mother, and a friend. I know herbs and I could help, I'm sure StarClan and MorningStar would forgive us." she said, understanding the apprentice's fear. Her voice and eyes were still gentle and caring, but also a little worried. She thought of Shadeheart as a daughter and it would be awful if they lost her, even if she wasn't in ThunderClan anymore.

Badgerpaw opened her mouth to protest."But.."she meowed desperately, and then her eyes narrowed."Fine,"she growled cautiously, beginning to pad out of the den."Come on.And can we take some herbs?RiverClan's a little low on them."She admitted.

Dawnfur let out a silent sigh of relief and nodded. "Of course." Turning she went through the list in her head and went farther into Lionpelt's den. "We'll need Catnip to relax her, and Thyme or Camomile to calm her. Perhaps Juniper Berries to relieve pain. Poppyseeds with just tire her out. She can have one or two after she's done kitting though." Rolling each of the herbs and berries into a small package, she fixed her teeth into it and padded out of the den. "Let's go." she said through the mouthful.

Badgerpaw blinked, slightly impressed although she would never in her life show the fact. She nodded in return and darted out of the den, across the clearing, and dissappearing into the bracken, sure that Dawnfur, as a warrior, could easily keep up.

The small tortoiseshell she-cat bounded after her with the herbs clamped in her jaw. Being smaller then the average she-cat, she was extreamly fast and could easily keep up. She kept behind Badgerpaw however, letting her lead the way to the camp.

His conservation changed the world. His passion and enthusiasm inspired millions to make a difference in this life. His love of animals and his conservation will never stop encouraging others to save and make a difference in what they love. And in this way he becomes immortal, living forever in the hearts of those he invited to come along on his journey. He will never be forgotten. ~In memory of Steve Irwin, The Crocodile Hunter~
