Aged Group: Members Posts: 64 Member No.: 5,738 Joined: 2-May 10	Exciting news, girls! My boyfriend of over 2 years finally proposed! It's not quite official yet. ie- he asked me to marry him, and we picked out a ring, but it still has to be sized, then he gets to REALLY propose, with ring in hand. I'm so excited!

So because of the politics of the Navy (booo!) we are having a justice of the peace ceremony next weekend! =D the big ceremony will be next year around the holidays, so we can go home to our families to spend the time with them so after saturday, i will be Kaylynn Meraz! =D and, as promised, here is a picture of the ring he gave me

I am not sure if you all are familiar with a Jewelry store Called "Jared'sthe Galleria of Jewelry". Any who there commercials the girls always say "He went to Jared's" well i can say that about my engagement ring from Chris! Now wedding set is a totally different story. My engagement ring above cost us almost a weeks salary at the time ($100). My wedding set cost us less, because we went to the same pawn store, yes i said pawn store as my SIL went to and her set is stunning, but i have small fingers so i could never carry a stone that large. But on the other side i did take it to Jared's to have it sized and cleaned!

Rings are gorgeous by the way. That's what i've asked for are a new set of rings for christmas since mine were stolen at the old apartment. You'll find that the years really do pass by quickly once you get married. Hard to believe I'll be married to the same wonderful man 12 years March 21, 2011.
