OK whilst re-reading HBP I had some strange thoughts. When I was reading the chapter Spinners End some realisations came to mind. Although Spinners End is the street which Snape lives on it could have a double meaning.
Now stay with me here because its rather far-fetched. A spin doctor is someone who mainly works for politicians and they 'spin' stories that could be either from a bad story making it good for their employer or vice versa for the employers opposition. If this is taken into account it could be said that Snape is a spin doctor for both sides. The Chapter title could literally mean the end of the Spinner i.e. Snape, because as we know he made the unbreakable vow which sort of marked the end of his days working with Dumbledore and therefore the end of him spinning stories to the Order. This chapter could also become relelvant later in book7 because it could possibly also be the end of his days spinning stories for Voldemort. OK thats the end of that. Let me know if you think this makes any sense or that it is of any relelvance to anything. -------------------- [rpgcode:200|Ally|56|16|40|48|2|{}|{}|0|1|7|4|01/01/01|None|None]

Yes, I see what you're saying. Although, if that really was the case, there would probably be a few more details. But I like the idea.

there are also theorists out there who believe it to mean something similar only in the sense that snapes a spider and he's now been forced to stop spinning his web of lies which also makes a lot of sense (some people think his patronus is a spider)

Eh... I like your first theory better.

Spinner's End is a street, on which sits a house that is the summer home of Severus Snape. The house resides in a dilapidated "Muggle dunghill" part of town, which forshadows what is later revealed about Snape's parentage. Snape's home opens directly into a sitting room which has the feeling of a dark, padded cell, with walls covered in books, threadbare furniture, and a dim candle-filled lamp that hangs from the ceiling. A hidden door is set in the wall of books, which leads to a narrow staircase. The place has an air of neglect, as Snape spends most of his year at Hogwarts.
The two sisters Narcissa Malfoy and Bellatrix Lestrange arrive at the house in The Half-Blood Prince. It is here that Snape then makes the Unbreakable Vow to come to the aid of Draco Malfoy in his mission to kill Albus Dumbledore. -------------------- [rpgcode:52400|Jake|10432|10052|10280|9856|16|{}|{}|10|0|1|13|01/01/78|An island....|Strong, Bold, Brave]
