Practice makes perfect right? Well that was his dads motto and well his coaches. He had been held after practice to get a talking to about his lack of focus and his lack of dedication. It wasn't that he wasn't dedicated or that he wasn't all there, it was just that he had other places he wanted to be. He wanted to be with Tori. He wanted to go see her. It was hard keeping it a secret, but it was harder having to go a whole day without getting to see her. He wasn't even able to sneak over to Hargrove to see her, because lets face it. The boy would stick out like a sore thumb. It wasn't like he was exactly unknown, and well crossing enemy lines alone would be a death wish, so the senior boy was forced to deal with his situation.
Of course had his dad known he was dating someone he'd probably kill him. He preferred his son didn't date during football season. Girls were a distraction and basically kept him from keeping his head in the game, but he wasn't against his son going out and relieveing some tension with a random hook up to clear his head and help him regain his focus. His father had some very twisted advice. E shook it off as he walked away from his father and coach and back over to the sidelines to grab his helmet. Pulling off his jersey and shoulder pads he placed them strategically over his helmet so that he could carry both with just one hand. Grabbing the last water bottle he took a long sip before slowly walking towards the gym.
Piper did a lot of things to keep her in shape to be at the top of her game. Cheerleading wasn't exactly easy, at least not the way she did it. There was a lot more than just jumping arund cheering. She really put her gymnasticks training to good use in some of their rutines, and it took a lot of strength and stamina. She did running and wieght lifting at school, as well as a lot of stretching. She'd spent the last half hour working on her moves in the gym with a few of the other irls, and had stepped out to get on the field for a while.
It just happened to be that as she was walking towards the grass, there was a very familiar face walking away from it, and directly in her direction. A smile came to her lips when she saw who it was, and she didn't change course. She was dressed in a pair of short shorts and a tank top, which was what she tended to work out in when she was at school. Mostly because she wasn't allowed to walk around in a sports bra. Pulling her hair out of it's ponytail, Piper got closer to Ethan, until she was right in front of him.
"Hey. How's it going? Coach giving you a hard time?"
Working out was a part of Ethan's life from what seemed like day one. His father had been captain and quarterback when he was in highschool and he wanted the same thing for his only son. So from the moment he knew he was having a boy it had been preparing him for football ever since. He was holding a football before he could even walk. So as he got older his father continued to push him hard and harder with age. When most kids were getting skates and rollerblades, Ethan was getting weights and workout machines. There had been perks to the plan. His toned body for one. Something girls seemed to like which, lets face it he didn't hate, especially when that girl was Tori.
As E headed towards the locker room he spotted a familiar blonde heading his way. Smiling at her was she apprached him. It was Piper and well she was hot. She was toned and athletic, and well head cheerleader. She was the it girl if there was such a thing. Any guy would kill to date her, and hell if Ethan didn't have Tori he might even go for it, but he did and for now it was just friends, and well keep up appearences which meant flirting and being seemingly avalible without being avalible. "Nah that was him being nice." Ethan joked as he took another swig of his water bottle. The Texas heat wasn't the best conditions for two-a-days. "So what brings you out here..?" Ethan asked as he stopped walking and focused on Piper.
"Oh, the usual. Just going some laps, before I head home. It's so hot today, I can't wait to jump in the pool and cool off."
It was one of her favorite things to do when she was at home. Swim around, or float and just let herself relax in the water in her back yard. After a hard day of school and training, what could be better? She could bet that everyone in Texas was having similar thoughts, in this heat, even if they hadn't been doing anything athletic all day. It was just that kind of place where the sun shines down on you, making you need something iced. She smiled when a thought occused to her, and she looked Etan over, befor eher eyes met his again.
"It looks like you could use a little pool-time, yourself. You wanna come over for a swim?"
Forward, and yet with a tone that had a seductive innocence. It was a gift that most couldn't say they had, but she used it to her advantage. She could imagine that after a practice he could use it too, especially with the way he was drinking the water. He needed to cool off, and it would be the perfect excuse. After all, he was single, right? Not that that really stopped her in the past, but she got the feeling he wouldn't cheat on someone, if he were in a relationship. He was sweeter than most guys, which was one of the reasons she was so attracted to him. There were a lot of cute guys, but he was different.
He listened as she talked about being hot and wanting to jump in the pool. That was something he was looking forward to, but ever since his mother forced them to cut down the trees that shaded their pool, the sun had become a heater and made the water not as tempting as it used to be. "Hot huh? Want a squirt?" He smirked pointing his water bottle at her. He was only joking. He wouldn't squirt her unless... well he would squirt her, but today he was feeling rather nice instead of the teasing jock he normally lets shine through. Girls liked assholes, but there was a way to be an asshole without actually being an asshole. Something Ethan had mastered at an early age. It's all about reading body languge and if he was reading Pipers right, he would empty the bottle on her and she'd pretend to be mad, but would deep down appreciate the flirting.
Her offer to go swimming was one he had to play with in his head. It was only swimming and what would be his reason not to. It was a chance to get out of the heat and hang with a friend right? He wasn't cheating he was swimming. "I could use a little pool time." He nodded his head as he smiled at her. Maybe he wouldn't tell Tori just in case, then again that would make a guilty situation out of nothing. He just hoped that if he did tell her that there wasn't a completely jealous side of her that came out. They hadn't been subject to that part of the relationship yet, but he wasn't exactly interested in finding out either. Jealous sometimes is a death sentence to relationships.
Will be closing in cases where equally great friend believes he's got a small superiority during the some other. tn pas cher tn pas cher
