Cats
Cats - just like modern times - are still solely pets. Occasionally, if you get a smarter cat, they can be used to send messages, but only in the paper form! Cats, however, have changed quite a bit. Instead of being smaller than most dogs, they have gotten to the size of medium-small dogs. Everything about them is large. As their frame got larger, so did their head and paws. Another thing that has changed is that there are many more eye colors have developed. Cats can now have the traditional Amber, green, blue, and hazel as well as any color the human eye can be plus a few others like red, silver, purple, and sometimes colors so dark they look black. However, since their eyes have such a large range of colors, their fur has lost many of the coloration options that everyone sees as familiar and distinctive only to Cats. They are now more earth colored, meaning that they have become mostly brown to black in coloration, however, some are able to obtain a tan color; thogh this is very rare. There is still a high possiblity that cats can have markings in several different manners. Tabby and Blotched are the most prominent of their markings.

Dogs
Dogs haven't changed much as there really was no reason for them too. However, only the heardy breeds survived. So, dogs more closely related to the wolf - Husky, Alaskan Malamute, German Shephard and Pointers - were able to withstand the journey as well as the environment. The dogs as well have acquired many more eye colors, so on top of the brown, blue and amber, they can have any color a human can as well as red, purple, and colors so dark they appear to be black. Most of the dogs have the patterns of huskies or german shepards, and can come in any color - minus all of the rediculous ones (red, green, blue, purple, etc.).

Birds
Birds are probably the most common pet as they are all over Hallelujah Range and are fairly easy to come by in markets. Traders make most of their money by bringing birds from all over Hallelujah Range to the parts where they aren't common. Most of the birds that are pets are parrots of some sort, song birds - though these are more found with the high officials as they are more rare, birds of prey, and pigeons - though these are more for sending messages and the like. Birds are able to come in just about ever size, shape, and color so there really are no limits as to their colorations as most know that birds are the extreme show-offs of the land and sky.
