The habit is available for hire with no extra charge or hire fee.

Normally we suggest that private parties be held upstairs in the Non smoking area which leads onto an outside terrace. For larger Parties we can offer the whole building for a time period, providing there are enough members.
On friday and saturday evenings live music is played downstairs and only the upstairs is available for booking.

We can offer a variety of options to add to your private party:


Option 1.

English or Chinese Buffet.
You choose an amount you wish to spend per person for the Buffet and wether you wish chinese or english food to be served. Please tell us of any dietry requirements or allergies. Reccomended price would be between £5 and £10 per head in order to set up a suitable buffet.

Option 2.

Complimentary Drinks for guests.
You choose your favourite drink on our drink and cocktail menus and pay for one drink per guest. Your guests will be given your drink of choice on arrival. We understand that some guests will naturally be unable to attend at short notice, please give us your approximate guest numbers as soon as you can and notify us of any changes. We will make a fixed number of drinks as a minimum and then make more upon demand.

Option 3. (Special offer)

Cocktail party.
If you book with us as a cocktail party you will be able to purchase cocktails from our bar at £3 each (shots are under £3 so are regular price) providing a minimum of 20 people are attending. Other non alcoholic drinks will still be served. If you want a cocktail that is not on our menu please tell us and we will make it specially for your party.

Option 4.

Decorations.
Add balloons and banners for £10.
Other decorations can be added by arrangement. Just tell us what colour scheme, and party theme you want.

Option 5. (No Extra Cost)

Music - Not available when live music is played.
Choose your own music to be played, bring in your own CD's, SD cards or mp3 players (with data cables) and we will play your chosen music for the duration of the party.

Option 6.

Open Bar.
Pay your chosen amount for an open bar. Guests will be able to obtain drinks for free from the bar until your bar funds are spent.
Instead you may have an open tab for the duration of the party and pay at the end of the night.



For large Party Bookings or parties that require the whole building, a reasonable deposit may be required to ensure the necessary takings are obtained. This is only taken to protect the business in case of lower takings than usually obtained.
The deposit will be given back or deducted from bill (if options are chosen), if takings are at a necessary level.
Please remeber there is no venue hire fee, it is just a deposit.
