The Red Meadow is semi-realistic. The wolves' actions are quite realistic, but your character is allowed to have a bird, as a second character. For example your wolf can have a raven, crow, owl, hawk, or eagle. Or even a song bird. Many forums are provided for role-playing and the setting is well described.

The difficulty is probably more towards medium, but can be suitable for all. However, you need to have good grammar and sentence structure skills and no chat speak that fill up the boards with useless conversation. There are rules against spamming and the admins (I am a moderator) try to stop people from doing it as much as possible.

We have been getting members quite quickly. Each plot is made up as your role-play. Whether you are in the valley or the great winter forests. The clans have many allies...and enemies. An overall plot may evolve soon.
The activity is going very well. It is quick, seeing as there are many active role-players....including myself. It is asked though that if you join it is not only for advertising purposes or just to sign-up and never post. However, The Red Meadow is very active- and has been since the start. Current Plot - V.1 Treading Cursed Lands

Two Stallions- Fiery Inferno and Painting Blue- have fallen upon a large amount of land. They decide to divide the land, leaving some areas unclaimed. One terra is evil- owned by Fiery Inferno, one light- owned by Painting Blue. Others come, including those who choose neither alliance and form a new one- neutral. But soon the dark queen, Reflection, dies, and the darks think the lights did it... when it was accually the land itself...

In the beginning, when the light touched the earth and danced in radiant beauty across landscape known to all as 'Shadrah', mother nature recieved two clans, Enoah and Felcaw unto her rolling acres. These clans lived in harmony for centuries, parting ways in the winter months to retreat to their subterranean disguise, hunting only when the receding snow and blizzard winds reminded them of their lucid hunger. And in the Spring time, rejoicing for the new found love of happiness and meetings between friends of young and old. True benevolence to pull them through any situation they may face.

But as if fate would have their fur covered pelts and cull their peaceful exsistence with corrupt dreams of hate and rancid lust for blood. To seep through their skulls with rancor and revulsion towards their kinsmen. For one clan, Felcaw, this hatred of fellow lineage drove the alpha male to madness, his apendages shook with that of rabid distaste for the land around him. Galvanicing his pack to the break of all exstinction, his female finally ravaged his broken corpse and lives now to reign over all those of Felcaw.

For those left behind by the sweep of unfortunate consequence, a land enriched with desire and torment for that which lies beyond the borders to their homeland. Enoah as it was named holds out for the peace that should be maintained between the dimished crowds that once used to be one. Only she knows that this cannot happen, until the fall of a leader... but who?

Living in the frosted peaks of Hasjazeen range, the pack of frenzied wolves, abide by the rules of the Alpha, her words of wisdom... preparing them for war...
