The train stopped at the Prophet City Station. Many people got off, and many were waiting to get on. Most people getting off the train were on business or were here to deal with private matters, whatever the case, everyone had something to do once they were off the train. Adam was staring out the window before he decided to finally get up once mostly everyone got off the train. He came to this city because a friend of his had sent him a message, telling Adam that he has a lead on the person that Adam is looking for. Adam gets off the train, he puts his hands in his coat pockets and heads towards the saloon, that's where his friend plans on meeting him.
As Adam heads towards the saloon, he sees all sorts of people. People that are here strictly for business, wearing fine suits, store owners, ranch heads, a few kids here and there. Adam gets closer to the saloon. He stops in his tracks and looks at the place. From the outside he can see what is going on on the inside, many people having a drink, others playing poker. There seems that no one is giving anyone an sort of trouble. Adam walks into the saloon, and finds a seat. Adam sits down, he unbuttons his coat and waits for his friend to arrive.
He overhears a few conversations, most of them talking about how the town is practically corrupt, he hears about certain individuals, who the people talking about them, wish were put down. He eventually hears about how there seems to be an increase of bounty hunters, Adam grins at this, seeing as how he is one, but isn't really here to bring down anyone who is a problem to the people of Prophet.
After a while, Adam sees his friend walk through the saloon entrance. His friend notices Adam and walks over to the table where he is sitting at. He pulls out a chair opposite to Adam and sits down.
"Didn't think you would actually make it here so soon like you said."
"You should know better." says Adam
"Of course...uh...so this Antonio fella. I've heard from a few buddies of mine, and most of them them say that he's in the city of Sendero."
"Well, the rest of them are saying that, Sendero is where he was at. They're saying that he is at Peregrino. That-"
"How can they be confused? More than half of your friends are saying that he somewhere, the rest are saying that he's somewhere else. This isn't a hide and seek game that Antonio is playing, his face has been plastered all over the damn place for the last three years now, he famous enough for people not to mistake him for anyone else."
"The one's that are saying that he's in Sendero, told me that the day that I sent you the message. The others told me that he is in Peregrino just yesterday. My guess is, is that he's heading back home, but I can't be too sure."
"How can you not be? If it looks like he's heading there, then I need to go back the way I came."
"You don't understand, Adam. The reason I say that I'm not sure is because he didn't come to Gran Luna for no reason."
"WHat do you mean? There can't be no other reason for him to come to Gran Luna, you saw what he did last year, his coming to Gran Luna was only to escape from the authorities."
"I heard different."
Adam's eyes widen.
"Jackson? Are you sure?"
"Of course I'm sure, I met him face to face. He told me, that Antonio came to Gran Luca in order to collect something. Now he didn't tell me what exactly he came to collect, but he said that it must've been pretty important, because he heard that he left the day after he committed that crime last year, and didn't have the rest of his men come with him."
"And you still think that he may actually be alone right now? What about what he was collecting, why go back to New Jerusalem?"
"First, I'll say that, yes, he is still alone. Apparently he left without notifying them."
"And the reason why he's back in New Jerusalem, is because what he's trying to collect, isn't a thing, it's actually a person. Now who this person is, I have no idea, but whoever they are, Antonio wants them bad, a whole year of chasing, and I think he is literally on the trail of this person."
"Good for him, too bad I'll be right behind him."
Adam gets up off the chair. His friend turns to him.
"If I were you, Adam, I'd go straight towards Peregrino, but if you're interested to know what he's after, then head to Sendero, god knows what information you might find there."
"I'll keep that in mind, Red." says, Adam as he walks out of the saloon.
