The Order of Innocence
Generals:
Boylad Young. Fifteen-year-old Terminian male. King of Innocence.
The son of a Terminian knight, Boylad was visited in a dream at the age of seven by a mysterious boy, who told him that only children were fit to rule the land of Termina. All people over the age of sixteen are servants of evil, bent on corrupting the pure souls of the Young and preventing them from entering into Paradise. The boy in the dream instructed Boylad to destroy all adults; only then will evil vanish from the land, establishing heaven on earth where all children will live happily, maintaining their youth for all of eternity.
After murdering his father and mother in their Clock Town residence, Boylad fled with his sister Gallass through the Hyrule portal. For two years, the siblings lived with the Kokiri, who had already been successful in creating a small Paradise in the middle of the Lost Woods. Boylad learned everything from the immortal forest children, and he swore to return to Termina to establish a second Paradise, similar to Kokiri Forest, in the Southern Swamp.
On his tenth birthday, Boylad left Kokiri Forest and entered Hyrule Castle to gain support from the Hylian children. Within days, he had formed a gang, who swept through the town at night, murdering and robbing all unsuspecting adults. When security was tightened in the city, he moved on to Kakariko Village. By this time, Boylad’s gang numbered in the thousands, and they easily overwhelmed the ill-prepared mountain village, killing nearly every adult in the city. They converted all the newly-orphaned children and established the Order of Innocence. Boylad was declared King of Innocence. For nearly a month, the Order controlled Kakariko until they were attacked by the Hyrulian Army.
The Order of Innocence fled into the Lost Woods, through the portal into Termina. For a few days, they ravaged Clock Town, strengthening their numbers before being pushed out by the Terminian Guards. The Order retreated deep into the Southern Swamp. On occasion, they emerged from their hiding places and made small assaults on Clock Town to find new members. Before Boylad even turned thirteen, the Order of Innocence had already grown to ten thousand members. Since then, the attacks on Clock Town have ceased, and all knowledge of the Order of Innocence has been forgotten by the people of Termina.
Soon, however, the Order of Innocence will make their presence known once again. Already, they have wiped out their Deku neighbors. It will not be long before they turn their attention to the rest of Termina.
Boylad stands at five-foot, six-inches, with a wild mass of unkempt brown hair atop his head. He carries Edge, the broadsword that once belonged to his knight father, and he has inherited his father’s unmatched sword-handling skills. What Boylad lacks the power and brute strength, he makes up for in speed and agility.
Gallass Young. Thirteen-year-old Terminian female. Queen of Innocence.
The sister of Boylad, Gallass was only five years old when her brother killed their parents. Initially, she was frightened (as most children would be) by her brother’s actions and refused to believe anything he told her about his dream. With no one else to turn to, she agreed to follow Boylad into Hyrule, and in the two years they spent with the Kokiri, she slowly accepted Boylad’s beliefs as truth.
When the Order of Innocence was established in Kakariko and Boylad was declared king, he named his sister the queen. While Boylad was at the gate fighting the forces of Hyrule, it was Gallass who led the evacuation of the village up into Goron City and through the portal to the Lost Woods. And when they had returned to Termina and dwelled in the Southern Swamp, Gallass took charge of the base while her brother led campaigns against Clock Town.
Gallass played a huge role in the war against the Deku Scrub King, when she was kidnapped by a group of Deku warriors. Loyalty to his sister prompted Boylad to launch a massive assault on the Deku Palace; and after a few days of fighting, every Deku Scrub was dead, and Gallass took her throne at her brother’s side.
At five-foot, one-inch, Gallass wears her long golden hair down, so that it nearly touches the ground. She carries Myst, a magical staff given to her by the Great Deku Tree during the time she spent in Kokiri Forest. Blessed with the gift of magic once belonging to her mother, Gallass has learned to cast spells that are semi-powerful, and her powers grow stronger with every passing day.
