I added this to the rules, under the "Navy" section. If there are enough objections, they may be allowed under severe restrictions.

This isn't to say that they won't show up as independent random events, however...

Feel free to replace your big octo troops with more benign troops. As it stands, those things could singlehandedly massacre several ships with only one just by ramming. The guns couldn't hit it, so effectively just one could take out a fleet. Since last game got a bit messed up because people started getting thousands(I admit I started the trend, but I limited myself to fifty at the beginning because I thought that was a relatively benign limit. Was a slippery slope though, and just makes it an arms race. Figure they mess up ship dynamic and there isn't a food chain that could support all those.

To edit this rule a bit, I'd like to point out that the TWW Big Octos are banned. The MM ones, however, are not, as those are a fraction of the size, and they can be taken down relatively easy.
