Obviously, this is for the new version of GSW. When ready, it shall be unlocked and used to post logs.

KOG: Enough waiting. It's open.

Vaegard's Log, Day 1
It is time. War approaches, and our plan shall soon be put into action. Argillac has been ordered to summon the rest of his people, and to see to the construction of a shipyard and the strengthening of our fortifications. Beyard has been given leave to use prisoners to see if we can put those accursed spiders to use. And I have sent a portion of our Kargorocs to scout the Great Sea.

Meanwhile, I have begun writing up a formal declaration of Windfall's neutrality. Once our Kargorocs have finished their scouting, we shall attempt to contact any armies they discover, and establish friendly relations. We shall supply every side in this war, and will not fight unless attacked.

And then, when the fighting is done, and the survivors weak, we shall march upon them. We shall annihilate the remnants of their armies, and unite the Great Sea beneath our banner...
-End Log-

Argillac's Log, Day 1
The messages have been sent. However, it has been several decades since I left them, and few of them still care for the vision of our ancestors. I know not how many shall still heed my call.

In accordance with Lord Vaegard's orders, I have commanded the construction of a shipyard to begin immediately. I have also ordered the construction of proper gates. Empty arches are worthless to us. I estimate these two projects will take 28 and 16 days, respectively.
-End Log-

Beyard's Log, Day 1
Damnable spiders. Whether they're useful or not, it's going to hell resisting the urge to smash them and put an end to that accursed noise. But unless they prove useless, I doubt Lord Vaegard will allow that.

For our tests, we've shuffled around some prisoners and put ten accused criminals in seperate cells, far from most of the others. We've put one of these Golden Skulltulas in each cell, well out of their reach, and tied them to their beds to prevent them from smashing them. A few of my subordinates will check the cells four times a day. They're to tell me how long it takes for them before they are willing to confess to their crimes. They are then to continue to observe them, to see how long it takes for the noise to drive them completely insane.

I've allotted 16 days to this project. If the spiders fail to produce results within that time, we shall inform Lord Vaegard and request permission to kill the accursed things.
-End Log-

Live Action (You'll find that I'm not gonna be posting very many logs. Won't work too well with my characters.)

“What’s the report, Fiddler?” said Captain Alastor Seehara of the Windfall Night Watch.

The man who had been addressed started scratching his hands. “Um—Well—Y’see….”

Captain Seehara sighed. “Fiddler…. What happened? Tell me.”

W—Well he…. And then I….”

“That was an order, Corporal.” Captain Seehara gave Fiddler the Look. There was no arguing with the Look. Bad things would happen to those who disobeyed him when the Look was employed. Fiddler didn’t know what those were, but he did not want to find out.

Fiddler took a deep breath and said, “He got away.”

“Dammit…. How?”

He melt into the slush,” Fiddler mumbled.

“…He what?” Captain Seehara Looked at Fiddler more intently.

“He went into the Shades, Sir.”

“I—Is he suicidal?”

“He didn’t appear so, Sir.”

Captain Seehara gritted his teeth and remained silent for a time. “Damn,” he said eventually.

“You’re dismissed, Fiddler. Carry on with your duties.”

“Yes, Sir.”

“And tell Bill to come up here if he’s down there. If not, tell him to find me in Sunspear Lane. I’m going out on patrol there.”

“Sunspear Lane. Got it.”

When Fiddler left, Al walked over to his desk and sat down. He sighed, then took a sheet of paper and a pen and began writing.

Officer dead. Constable Corporal Gareth Kirby. Age 53. One daughter, lives on Outset. Crossbow bolt through heart. Smith & Genericname, 9mm quarrel. Suspect fled into the Shades. Did not pursue. Not suicidal.

When he was done, Al put on his armor, put the note into his pocket, and went out into the night.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

An hour later, Al was outside of Lord Riesling’s compound. Nobody else was on the street, at least in the open, save for the Supreme Commander’s personal guards. They didn’t look too pleased to see him. Of course, they never did. The Night Watch was understaffed, underfunded, and rather lowly thought of.

Saying nothing, Al simply put the note into the letter slot and walked the other way, heading toward the lighthouse.

As he passed by Victory Square, he saw a figure about fifty feet away. He tensed. Not again. Not another one. As the figure got closer, he recognized it as Bill, and relaxed once more.

They stopped, and Bill said, “You wanted to see me, Sir?”

Al nodded, and the two started back to the Watch House.

“By the way,” added Bill, “what’s with Fiddler? He’s been acting weird. Well..., more so than usual, anyway.”

Al sighed, and said, “Gareth’s dead.”

Al figured that Bill was gaping at that, but did not turn to confirm his suspicions. “How?” was the eventual reply.

“He ran too fast.”

And that was all. Those four words explained everything. You do not catch the criminal in the Night Watch. There are not enough men for the job. If you see something, you run. You look like you’re trying to catch him, but you do not run so fast as to reach him.

But Gareth had run too fast. He had caught up. And he had died.

“It’s just the three of us now.”

“Yeah,” said Al. “It is. A million people, and just three Night Watchmen. It’s a wonder they even pay us.”

“Do they? I haven’t noticed.”

Al let out a sharp laugh, which rang in the empty night.

(I've found that my characters tend to work better with more live action than logs as well. So: )

Live action

Here is Cliff Plateau Isle. It's a pleasant, nondescript little atoll sitting quietly in a corner of the ocean. See the healthy, almost neon-green grass. See the ocean splashing gently against the rocks. See the tall, swaying palm trees with big, ripe coconuts.

The imaginary camera panned up to get a view of the bright blue sky. The view was full of fluffy, edible-looking clouds. To the imaginary cameraman's dismay, the view was also full of rapidly-descending dragon.

"Bugge--" said an imaginary voice.

It wasn't actually a crash. There were skid marks in the grass that could have had a crash at the other end of them, but aside from the tragically artistic smear of imaginary tissue, there wasn't much crashiness about the scene.

The dragon shuffled its claws in the grass. Someone swung off of its back and landed efficiently. He took a roll of parchment from between two bulging sacks roped to his steed. He unrolled it and got slightly annoyed at it for the fourth time today.

"That man couldn't have been any younger than 35. This looks like an infant's work," he said, slipping the paper back into its crevice. "I knew I shouldn't even have spoken to that man. 398 rupees! What could he feasibly spend that kind of money on?"

Food and shelter? queried a voice that came from nowhere in particular, and that seemed immune to rhetoric.

"If I ever see that green jumpsuit again, I'm demanding a refund. Half the text isn't even legible."

Could you read this island's name?

"No. The only one I could read without unreasonable effort is, I would have to assume based on the familiar name, the man's home turf," he said as he hefted one of the bags down and started rummaging through it. "There is an implied-to-be-major island just west of here. I think we will stop there later to, hopefully, restock. There is an island farther to the northwest which is marked with a windmill on the map, and I assume this means there is some proper semblance of civilization there. We will make a longer-term encampment near there."

I cannot fly all the way there. You know that.

"Have you not looked at the map? Look out onto the ocean. There are so many minor islands on this sea it's a wonder it's called a sea and not a lake. Distance will not be an issue."

Are you sure?

"You are not?"

You seem to have already forgotten how you came to acquire that map. Can we really trust it?

The human looked out to the west. "Looks less than two miles. We will be fine," he mused as he pulled out a steelflint. "Go and find some wood. We only have two hours of daylight, and I want to be sure we have a fire going by then."

Very well.

The dragon trotted off into the small woods. As he vanished, Leo tested the steelflint. I hope this is the place, he thought. We have been on the road far too long, and nothing useful has turned up. If Kalaverix is not made into a true dragon again, he may not live more than two hundred more years. It's not right...

He seemed a little disappointed at the sparks that leaped from the flint. He pocketed it and began propping up his tent.

(Is this my first day, Or am I calculating from game start? I'll assume the latter, but if I am wrong please notify me and I'll fix everything)

Nedada Log, day 3:

My caravan and I are marooned on a deserted island, after a terrible storm with smashed and destroyed our fleet. We were taking a large amount of ships, crew and goods, as it was one of our most profitable trade routes, despite the danger. None of our navigators have any idea where we are, as the current carried us to this island when our ships went down. We do know, however, that we are far to the east of our own land.

Worse still, Biggoron, our big brother, is unconscious. I feel it will take much trouble to wake him, probably involving a quest, or at least many days of hard work. Best to leave him asleep then.

We have begun to search the wreckages for anything useful, and we have been able to find barrels of food and water, but no surviving ships. We are now using the wreckages, of which there are many, to build a makeshift shipyard, and houses, as we all agree that we will be stuck here for a long time. Construction is going well now that it is day three, and I think we might be done with the basics before months end.

Dalnor Log, day 3

Since the crash, about 1500 gorons drifted in on pieces of ship. 500 of them were merchants, the rest Guards and Security. While Nedada and his group take care of ships and houses, My group and I will take care of defenses; pirates would be all too willing to attack a lone colony of marooned traders. There is plentiful wood thanks to the wrecked ships, and immediately we began building watch towers all around the coast. Now it is day three, and they are progressing well.

Terry: Ay suh, amazing view.
As the Settlers moved onto the shore with the help of the Marines that Terry had brought along, the winds died down and brought a serene calm.
Ross: We have had to bear so much pain, but now we can build ourselves a new home. There is a fresh water stream here, but I'm interested in finding out where the water is coming from.
Terry: I'll organize a search party in a few days suh. For now let's just build us some homes.
Ross: Ah yes, our freedomville Shanty Town, that should take us about a week and then we can begin construction on a dockyard.
Terry: I wonda if there are any othar people on this island?
Ross: I'm sure we'll find out soon enough Terry.

LOGS: Day 1

Linebeck:

Ah, what a triumphant day it is, as I, Linebeck the famed stand on this great rock! The denizens, I understand refer to it as the Forest Haven. It is a beautiful place, rife with adventure! And possibly treasure…

Ah, but I am getting ahead of myself. After I left the kid and the twerpy fairy, I wandered the Great Sea for ages, in search for treasure... or at least sweet land! The map I had bought from a strange green traveler, despite his resemblance to the kid hasn’t done much for me. Matter of fact, why do the islands look like chickens? Days and Weeks passed, until my fortune turned...bad. A storm blew in, taking me by surprise. I went through the hurricane winds as best I could, until I saw an island. Turning course, I bravely wedged my ship between a pair of rocks.
When I got on land, I began to explore around. “Maybe I could find some beasts to bravely tame,” I muttered to myself aloud. Suddenly, a ferocious squad of plant children ran up to me and savagely attacked. I bravely defended myself as best I could, being careful to bring no harm to them, but I was captured. Brought before their leader, I reasoned with the childish savage. I was instated as a general in a war that even now is erupting across the Great Sea. I’ll see these guys through to the very end (and their treasure, too!)

We're sending some men to map out the Forest Haven and the Forbidden Forest. If we establish a system of quickly sending messages back and forth, things should turn out ok.

Makar

I swear to our giant Tiki Idol, if that ragged old captain doesn't shut up I'll shove my violin up his ass and play it.

We found him screaming like a girl in a small storm that sprouted up just a little southeast of the Forest Haven. ...Somehow, I think he was either drunk, or very lucky as he closed his eyes. He started to stumble around the deck of his ship, slammed against the wheel turning the ship and smashing it between two rocks. What gets me is after he got off his ship (kissing the land...) he shouted 'ANOTHER VICTORY FOR THE GREAT LINEBECK.' Sure was a hollow victory for him though, when his ship split in two.

We kept spying on him in the jungle, until Bokur tripped and fell right in front of the captain (We warned him about the forest ale. He was always the adventurous one, swinging on vines...right into the tree. Not right in his head, little guy). Both of 'em turned to each-other...then screamed. I still don't believe it. A fully grown man screamed at a little kid in fear. More of us popped down to investigate, and he started on his knees begging 'MERCY! I have a wife and ki-er, a wi-er, I have a SHIP!' Quickly, we brought him before the Deku Tree. Apparently the Deku Tree is eating forest grass...even though he's immobile. He had us instate the bugger as a general...oy. Looks like a grim day for us.

Funny thing though. We looked at the chart he was using. We don't even think it was a map of the Great Sea. In fact, we think it was a map of a FARM. This guy's a few acorns short of an oak.

Well, we've got Hollo and some other Korok extracting Boko Seeds. We figure they can be used for a healthy supply of Blue Potion. We should probably work on defensive structures. As a matter of fact, I think we're working on a tower. Hollo wants to make it breath fire. I've been wondering why our special grasses have been dissappearing from the store shelves. I'll have to speak with him on that.

We're also repairing Captain Linebeck's ship. It's rather run down, but it worked nicely before it...er, got damaged. Hollo wants the ship to breath fire from the bow. Considering, I think I'll allow it. The captain would love it.

Vaati looked at the symbol on the floor beneath him and smiled.

"Yes, we must be close..." Vaati said.

A beautiful yet strong woman with an axe and a bomb bag by her side stood next to Vaati. She wore some ragged clothing and had some bizzare ear-piercings. She was clearly a pirate of some sort. She was an impatient and violent woman known as Captain Caspela, wanted all across the Great Sea. Caspela could tell the tiles that the wind mage was looking at suggested some sort of tribute to the wind. She began to get curious.

"Tell me, Vaati, why is it we have come to the Tower of the Gods?" She asked.

Vaati stood up and threw his cloak back.

"Some time ago, my palace fell from the skies and plummeted into this sea, along with the rest of Hyrule. When you found me on the ocean floor in that dreadful chest, I was not the god I used to be. This crest is a symbol for the Wind Waker... A tool that would be useful in regaining my dominion over the wind." Vaati explained.

"...and when we do get your little Wind Walker or whatever..." Caspela began.

"Yes, Caspela, you will have your reward. When we reach the top of the tower, there should be a bell. I have the clue we need, the Gyorg Pair will be waiting for us there." Vaati interrupted.

Caspela grummbled and complained. "I don't like riding those things. You can take your air-fish, I'm sticking to the seas. Where to after that?"

Vaati laughed. "Windfall..."

"Then I'll meet you in Windfall, but I can't exactly bring the Red Leviathan close to there. I'm a wanted gal, what am I to do about that?" Caspela asked.

Vaati smiled. "You'll have to ride one of the pair."

Caspela rolled her eyes and the two continued to the top of the tower.

The As Yet Unnamed Army
Generals:
Vaegard, Helmaroc King
Bases: Auction House

Argillac's Log, Day 5
I've received a note from the Night Watch. One of their officers is dead. I have sent a message to the Captain of the Watch, asking him to meet with me as soon as is convenient. Though he mentioned that the officer had a daughter, he did not give a name, nor did he say whether or not he had already sent word to her. If he has not, I shall have to do so myself. And after looking over some of the more recent papers, I believe there are some other matters for us to discuss as well...
-End Log-

Beyard's Log, Day 5
The research continues, and the results are positive so far. In the past four days, two of them have already offered to confess their crimes, and three others have attempted to break free and kill the Skulltulas, though none of them succeeded. I have summoned the appropriate officials to hear the confessions. Rather pointless, since we'll likely just dispose of them all quietly once we've finished, but we may as well observe the formalities.

The Goron Trader's Conglomerate, Day 7

Nadada Log: The wind blows, and the surf crashes onto the beach. Not much happens here. All construction is going as planned, and Biggoron is still unconscious. It is eerily quiet here. I'm going up to the top of the rock to light a bonfire, maybe someone will see us.

Dalnor Log: No pirates have been spotted, and today more gorons have drifted in on pieces of debris, liferafts, and the currents. In other news, Nadada thinks it a good idea to light a signal fire. I disagree, but he's the caravan chief...

Outstretched Shadow
Generals: Dark Link, Doc Bandam
Base: Pawprint

Dark Link Log: Bottles are too confining for me to consider them as "useful" ever again.

The good doctor tells me I was purchased at a mystic shop where he was scouting for potion ingredients of questionable legality. Evidently I was labeled as a 'Cursed Spirit of Unparalleled Evil'. That would be the difficulty of being such a shade. Prejudice has been around since the beginning of thought, but I've come to terms with it. It's not going away, and I have better ends to pursue than those of a whiny self-righteous shadow. It is fortunate that the magic behind trapping beings in bottles has been lost.

Needless to say, when the doctor opened the bottle expecting to find some dodongo breath, he instead received the much better smelling me. Not a bad trade, if you've ever smelled the breath of a dodongo. Despite my status of "Cursed Spirit", he decided he'd keep me around to sate his scientific curiosity. I am a good deal more impressive in design than a Poe, as it would happen, and even Poes are difficult to get your hands on. But he quickly realized how difficult it would be to hide a man whose skin sapped up light like a Big Octo swallows ships. So we're currently living at his home away from home, out on Pawprint Isle. He's made friends with the Chus somehow... and there's a small civilization of Rito that live there. Also, apparently he negotiated with some Zoras at some point after his boat kept getting destroyed on his journeys. The things scientists do will never cease to amaze me.

A project has begun to make this island more inhabitable. And by a project, I mean various projects. Of course, I'll never understand how what the doc is doing will make the island more inhabitable until he finishes, so I can't complain.

There are things to be done.
End Log

Doc Bandam Log: A marvelous specimen, and modeled after the great Hero of Time himself! His mind is sharp as a pin too, even after all those years.

On the agenda!

Scatterglass!(12)
Beam integration!(12)
Magnifying lenses!(12)
Excavation!(20)

You'll find out what those do later! For now...

Dragmo's Log Day 1

After all this time, I have finally been called upon by the beings who dwell in this temple to rise up and defend our home. At first I was surprised at how many creatures were in the temple, but the more the better I suppose.

I wasted no time in organization. I immediatly sent out stalfos and blue bubbles to do a brief sweep of the temple and they discovered the only entrance and or exit. This was good news, the bad news was the fact that the exit is blocked by a large and heavy slab of stone. I figured the defences that the gods placed would not be disturbed. After I get aquanted more, then I'll start up some basic projects, most important being the removal of that stone.

I made a general annoncement to my men, saying that we are now in an offical state of war and to be on their guards. I stationed my floor masters around the temple, a large number near the stone slab...just in case.

Army of the Dead, First Logs:

Jalhalla:

The time has finally come. For too long, me and my ilk have suffered. For too long, we've been forced to cower underneath the ground, hiding from the world above. The sun, oh, the wretched sun. The sun brings nothing but pain and suffering to my people. Why do the humans get to live in the world above, loved and gifted by the sun, while we must dwell below, never to set foot above for fear of the sun destroying us? Well, too long have we gone without an answer. Should the sun decide to turn it's back on us, then so be it. It will be the last mistake it'll ever make.

I've begun raising an army of below. An army which somehow, someway, will find a way to blot out the sun from existance. We do not know how we will do this, or even if it's possible, but as the Evil King as my witness, we shall succeed. I've sense a great darkness sweep over us, and if we do not stand now, when will we ever? I've already struck a bargain with our new allies, the mighty army of the Stalfos. They and their leader, General Stalragnos, are key to my plans, as, unlike myself, the Poes, the Redead, and the Dark Chu-chus, they are completely invulnerable to the light. However, they hate it for its indifference towards us, and they seek revenge as well.

Our first step is the building of a navy. The world is nothing but one big ocean, and we'll need quite the fleet to move across it. Our shipyard will be completed in a manner of days, and then our fleet can begin construction. Soon, an army of ghost ships will spread across the sea, and we'll spread our darkness wherever we go.

Next priority, we need allies. We have no idea on how we can destroy the light of the sun, but I suspect a bit of magic will be necessary. A lot, actually, more than even I can comprehend. Thus, a strong magician must be found. If we can eliminate sunlight, we'll be invincible. The world will be ours.

I've work to attend to, so I must end my log at the moment. May the darkness favor us.

Stalragnos:

I have begun my preperation for the war ahead. Me and my warriors have joined with Jalhalla, king of ghosts, and we're preparing to start a war against the light itself. And we will grind it into the dust, and the shadows will inherit the earth.

We've begun construction of a shipyard so we may cross the sea. Designs of our first ship class are already in planning. I was thinking a ship that could block all sunlight from the hold, safely transporting the light-vulnerable units of our army safely, even in broad daylight. While we'd have no problems fighting in the night, the night is only so long. 12 hours at maximum? Not long enought to win most battles. Thus, we'll need safe spots for the Poes, Chu-chus, and Redeads during daylight, the first two if not the latter.

We know not how to fight sunlight, but we'd figure we begin by allying with its enemies, and attacking its precious allies. I'm sending a squad of Bubbles, each carrying a message made of flame-retardent bone (I wish they made paper fire-proof. Bone's a lot harder to carve letters in). However, it'll have to do, as Bubbles are our only unit capable of flight. We know not this territory, but I've advised the Bubbles to stick to the shadows, and avoid any place where light is allowed to shine. If we are to find the light's enemies, we must look where it is not. They've been instructed to start by going north, then split up and search all directions: North, South, West, East, NW, SE, what have you. We'll find an ally somewhere in this wretched pit of a sun controlled world.

Finally, we have a few more priorities. This temple holds one of the light's most important tools, the Earth Shrine. A mighty weapon capable of smiting even the greatest evil is said to be powered by a being who once stood in the very core of the temple. She was a powerful Earth Sage, a Zora by the name of Laruto. However, long ago, Jalhalla killed Laruto, and thus the mighty weapon has lost at least a large part of its power. We want to make sure it stays that way. In addition, there is said to be an artifact in the temple, a weapon used to shine light where it cannot normally go. I don't know what it is, but we'll find it. And destroy it.

The Mos-Les Tribe
Mother & Child Isles

General: Chief Agronak Ka'Malog
General: Warlord Shakh Ra'Magar

LOG: Chief Agronak Ka'Malog

My father has passed... He has given me the chieftan helmet as a symbol of my ascension. They say that I am young and inexperienced, but they underestimate me. Elder Mashagam Ka'Malog has started the work by bringing the tribe here but I must help continue it. We have claimed this island and the neighboring one but now we must secure them.

I have ordered construction to begin on excavating a small entrance to the Mother Isle, it has a great natural wall and will be invaluable in defense. A more permanent settlement will be built on this isle as well, a shipyard and docks for future endeavors. May the diggers be swift and flawless in their excavation.

LOG: Warlord Shakh Ra'Magar

Elder Mashagam Ka'Malog has gone to the ancestors and his son rules in his stead. I will be honored to serve him just as I have served his father. I am overseeing the excavation to the walled island for it may provide a greater spot for our new city. The entrance is to be five men wide as the natural rock fortress will be our primary defense. this should take no more than a week.

New Projects:
Wall excavation- 7 Days
Child Island Docks and Shipyard- 12 Days

R.A.V.A.G.E.
Ralliers Against Violence, Animosity, and Gross Enmity

W. Armonger's Log:
Many years have passed since I inherited the Rito throne. These tired eyes have seen too much bloodshed, too many tears. It was, let's see, about three years ago this month when I declared the Rito tribe a pacfist nation; two years ago when we were overrun by belligerent neighbors. I'll never forget the night they came...

<Flashback>The black-sailed ships circled our island. Their cannons sent blast after blast, decimating the few defensive structures left over from my father's reign. The entire tribe huddled together inside this mountain, the men demanding that I organize our defenses, the women holding the little ones, the little ones screaming with every cannon blast. I refused to acknowledge the men's call-to-arms.

"The enemy is at our doorstep, and you refuse to make a stand! What kind of leader are you?"

"Taking up arms will solve nothing," I responded. "Violence only leads to more violence. The Rito are and will continue to be a nation of peace, as long as I am king."

"Not our king!" the men shouted, taking up defensive positions near the entrance.

Sigh... The story doesn't end there, but I can't go on. Perhaps another time...

Any way, the twelve of us -- a diverse group consisting of members of numerous races -- still reside here on Dragon Roost Island. All twelve of us are committed to promoting peace in this world. We are true pacifists, taking up arms neither to attack a foe (of which we have none) nor in self-defense. For the past two years, we have lived in isolation, but that will soon change. Plans are in the works to spread our message of peace to all corners of the Great Sea. First and foremost, we will be needing a boat, which will be completed before the end of the month (24 days).

Alastor Seehara

Live Action

“Still nothing?” said Al.

Bill shook his head. “No, Sir. I think he’s still in the Shades.”

They went into the pub. Fiddler was already inside, and had already ordered drinks.

“The usual, Al?” Fred called out. Fred Torren was the owner of the Pirate’s Head, and a generally agreeable fellow. He tends not to ask questions about your background. In return he asks of two things: 1) that you keep questions about his background, such as, “What’s in this meat?” to yourself, and 2) that you ignore the large Goron by the door.

“Yeah,” replied Al. “With extra burnt crunchy bits.”

“Right. And you, Bill?”

“I’ll have what Fiddler’s having.”

“You sure about that?” Fred said with a smirk.

Bill grinned. “Not at all.

“Actually, I’ll have the soup.”

“Right,” he said, and stuck his head into the kitchen. “Soup and a Vimes, extra burnt crunchy bits!” The Vimes was a BLT. In theory. The Vimes was a sandwich that had almost more bacon than bread, tomatoes so thin they were translucent, and so little lettuce you almost need a magnifying lens to see it.

That done, the two went over to Fiddler’s table and sat down. “I’ve heard something, Captain,” said Fiddler.

“What is it?” said Al.

“A name. Jean Valjean.”

“You mean...,” said Bill.

“Yeah. Bastard what shot Gareth.”

“Jean Valjean...,” said Al. “He’ll regret shooting Gareth.”

“Also... he lives in the Shades.”

They stared at Fiddler. “He... lives there?” said Bill.

“So I heard.”

“I’m not going in there, you can be sure,” said Al. “Going into the Shades can ruin your whole day.”

“Yeah.”

“Still... we have something now.”

They ate in silence, then went to the Watch House as twilight set in.

“Captain Seehara?” a not quite pleased voice greeted them.

Al turned around. “Yes?”

“You have an appointment with Lord Riesling. At... your convenience.”

“ ‘At my convenience.’ Yeah. Sure. Bill, see if you can find out something about him.”

“Yes, Sir.”

Al turned around, and headed toward Sunspear Lane.

Floris Silvae Portis: LOGS

Day 10

Linebeck

My search for treasure thus far has been fruitless. I followed the little Monkey's way of doing things, and searched under every rock in the Forest Haven. I turned up nothing. Therefore, I have concluded that their vast hidden riches are located on the other island, the Forbidden Forest assembling a small raiding force of 2 Korok guards; I journeyed deep within the Forest, armed with only my clothes on my back, and my awesome sense of direction…also a shield and sword! Hopefully the chests that no doubt lay scattered throughout the Great Rootlike structure would provide me with riches beyond compare. After all, a tribe of creatures like these should have boundless wealth. Look at their fabulous Tiki Idol. It's eyes positively glow with...Tiki-Ness. How can a civilization with such a fabulous wooden statue possibly have no treasure? I turned to my companions, and proclaimed that “I, Linebeck promise on my title of World’s Greatest Treasure Hunter that I’ll find your secret stores of riches, and use them to lead our armies to victory.” The resulting reply was an emphatic cheer from my companions. But if it was a cheer, why did it sound like laughter? Maybe they were just giddy from walking all over this giant root. Ehh, it doesn’t really matter, because we’re infallibly guided by my infallible sense of Direction!

The journey thus far has been relatively unimpeded. Save for a damp stream, which stumped me for about a half-hour until I realized the simple solution…walking across. However, my great trek hasn’t gone on without its fair share of battles, each of which amazing enough to be chronicled in some epic…tale…of epicness. One such battle came when I met a savage Korok tribe. Using my clever wits and my amazing strength, we fle-er, we boldly ran in, and attacked their whole tribe! Attacks of such ferocity I had never seen in all my treasure hunting days, but lo! We prevailed. We left them with the fame of the great Linebeck fresh in their minds, I can guarantee you that!

Later, down in the deeper basement levels we met a vicious squadron of their most vicious guards. They were VICIOUS. Again, I and my troops charged, and we beat them back to whatever plant hellhole they came from. They’re probably ruing the name Linebeck even as I spe-er, write. The treasure must be around here, I thought! There’s no way my amazing sense of direction could lead me wrong!

Ah, we’ve arrived at the bottom of a shaft. …Unbelievable. Not one piece of treasure to be found under that vast pile of rocks. And my infallible sense of direction has proved…fallible. But the door in this chamber looks…menacing. And as every good treasure hunter knows, menacing means treasure. Therefore, I must get in. But the door is far too strong. Throwing fragile glass pots at it didn’t do anything to pierce it. I, just now have noticed a lock. Since I haven’t found any keys around, perhaps one of the Korok guards I brought with me will work as a key? Perhaps the ingenious creators of this lock were nefarious…but not nefarious enough to stop the great Linebeck!

Makar
Linebeck’s gone off in search of treasures. I think he’s also gone off the deep end. He took 20 guards with him for protection, as he scoured the Forbidden Forest. Our advance Guard squadron spotted him on the second floor, I believe. As soon as they spotted him, Linebeck ran forward, threw himself in front of them, and begged for mercy. I think that threw the guards for a loop. Linebeck streaked down the hallway to the left, and so far as I know that was the last thing the guards reported that was Linebeck related. At least, if you don’t count his crying of “'ANOTHER VICTORY FOR THE GREAT LINEBECK!” As he ran. Pity he ran right into a pillar. I’m told his bodyguards scooped him up, and dashed down the hall for him. We’ve been told by Hollo that Linebeck’s ship runs on a different source of power than the wind. We need to research it so we can fix it. Who knows? This may help contribute towards our own boat fleet. It may have other effects as well. Our mapping of the Forest Haven is almost done. With that out of the way, we’re tasking 49 men to map out the rest of the Isles of the Great Sea. We’ve assigned them to a strict code on which islands they’re patrolling. If any of them should falter, we’ll know where. We’ll follow up on assassinations after we receive word they’ve happened.
[Later Log]

40. Guards. 40 Guards. Unbelievable. On one of the basement levels Linebeck charged 40 guards. I’m told his guards stood idly by while he attacked them all by himself. Linebeck single-handedly incapacitated each of those guards. What in the hell is wrong with him? And more importantly, what in the hell is wrong with the Deku Tree for having us make him a general? The Deku Tree…has been stark raving mad it seems. At least, that’s what it looks like, if he’s having us place Linebeck in a position of such power. I’ve narrowed it down to 4 things. 1: The Deku Tree is messing with us. 2: He’s crazy. 3: He’s trying to kill us all. 4: He actually thinks Linebeck is prophesized to save us all. Believe it or not, I hope it’s the first answer. If it isn’t, may the Tiki Idol have mercy on our souls.

The Goron Trader's Conglomerate

Dalnor: Success! I have finally convinced that fool Nadada that it is unwise to light a signal fire until after we have adequate defenses; this means towers. So far we are over halfway done with those, and once they are done, we will know whenever anyone tries to approach the isle!

Nadada: I guess Dalnor was right. The signal fire won't be lit until we are prepared against villains who might see and follow the fire. In other news, my house has been finished, so I am no longer sitting on the sand writing this log, but rather on a dirt floor. Furniture is still not done. While more and more Gorons are floating in who need houses, they are helping build, so that we still do not take longer than I originally predicted.

Army of the Dead logs, day 4:

Jalhalla:

Progress is swell. We've already completed the Catacombs, and new troops are being pulled from the crypts at a steady pace. Soon, we'll have a force to be reckoned with. It is only being held back by the lack of a ship, as only the Poes and Bubbles are capable of levitation, and Poes would drop right into the depth of the ocean should they not reach land by sunrise. Thus, Bubbles remain our only form of messenger that can safely traverse the seas, but Bubbles alone won't win wars. We'll have a shipyard completed in a few more days, and we can begin building a fleet after that. Stalragnos is taking care of every military detail, so that leaves me to think on how to destroy the light....

There's still no word of the 50 Bubbles we sent out a few days ago, so we're unsure if they have yet to found allies, or if they were killed on the spot. We need someone skilled in the dark arts to help us fight the light, but until then, we'll have to make do on our own. I've had an idea as of late......

This temple, and the Earth Shrine within, is said to be a power source for the mightiest weapon the light has to offer. This Ultimate Weapon, as of yet, is unknown to us. However, if this temple is supposed to power it, it must have some form of control over it. If we could somehow take control over that, and convert the power of this temple to pure darkness, then the ultimate weapon of the light would begin a journey towards becoming the light's doom.

Stalragnos:

No word yet from the Bubbles yet. They should've split up by now and are going in each direction of the ocean, until they find someone shrouded in darkness. But the construction's at least going good. The catacombs are completed, and the shipyard is well on its way. I've decided to begin preparing the defenses of the Earth Temple, should the unfortunate occur and we are attacked. For starters, I'm making sure that every single shaft is sealed shut. If no light can reach our domain, then the Poes and Dark Chu-chus would have nothing to fear, and they'd be perfect guards. However, this temple is old, and light could pour in if enough holes are blowed open. We're beginning to reinforce the walls closest to the entrance, and begin the construction of garrisons that we can use to defend the inside of the temple. Currently, I have a few dozen Bubbles flying up above as watchouts. Should anything intend to harm us, I pray they see it first and alert us. We're fairly vulnerable right now, and it'll take more than just shadows to keep us safe.

No sign yet of the ancient weapon that shines light yet, but we're close. The Stalfos are checking every square inch of this temple until it is found. The creatures of the light need no more help than they already have.

Dragmo's Log Day 4

Great progress was made in the last few days. My troops have been organized and are determined to protect our holy home. Seeing their determiniation gives me a sort of inner fire to fight to my last breath.

I have finally made it a priority to remove the stone blocking the exit. I have assigned a large number of stalfos, wizdrobes, and floor masters to the project, soon we shall be free of this wreched stone. It has come to my attention that the weapons and armour of the stalfos are well, a littly old. Which is why I am ordering the restoration and creation of new weapons. The maces will stay, but I have plans of creating axes and swords to better dyversify our arsenal. I wonder, if there are any civilizations out there, if they are hostile or friendly? I've been getting a very bad feeling of something terrible, like a great evil. The winds seem very disturbed, there are dark forces at work.

These past few days also brought on new troop additions. 1,000 Karagorocs joined us, along with 500 floor masters.

End Log

New Projects:

Remove Stone-0/17
Restore Armor-0/12
Create New Weapons(Swords/Axes)-0/15

Leo's logbook: entry (Since Leo has been on the road for nearly ten years, this is obviously a very high-numbered entry, but I'll just say) 1

We arrived on the so-called Great Sea a few days ago. So far, though, I haven't seen much great around. I know not the names of the islands around here, but with any luck I'll have a new map soon and this won't be a problem anymore.
We are currently on our second island. The map I have now makes it out to be a big deal, but it looks a bit... rural. But there does seem to be some life here, so it's worth a try.
I came late in the evening, under the cover of low light. When your main form of transportation is a dragon, not being seen is important. Being seen leads to unnecessary conflict. Which is why we are still on our trip. Had we not been chased off several times before, our...
my primary objective might be complete. We landed on what seems like the least-visited side of the island, so hiding Kalaverix won't be difficult.
I will go find someone to ask about the area now. If this place isn't a town, then I'll just be on my way...

Update: Location change -- Cliff Plateau Isles -> Forest Haven
(Bambo, I'll wait until you're ready until I post the meeting topic. Just say the word.)

The Mos-Les Tribe
Mother & Child Isles

General: Chief Agronak Ka'Malog
General: Warlord Shakh Ra'Magar

LOGS: Chief Agronak Ka'Malog

The naval yards are making progress. We have already shaped a harbor into the island and some of the basic structures have been started. It should take slightly more than a week for it to be completed. Once we conclude construction here, we will have a permanent structure on this land at last. To long have we lived in temporary dwellings and too long have we been without a navy. However, a simple fishing village is not enough for this great nation. This is only one step towards our goal. Once Shakh Ra'Magar has completed the excavation then we will lay the foundations to our great capital! It appears that the solid mountain is a lot harder to penetrate than it seems, and that will benefit us in the long run...

LOGS: Lord Shakh Ra'Magar

The tunnel is near completion, we just need to smooth out the walls and make sure the entrance is sturdy. The wall seems to be able to support itself and it will be a notable defensive advantage. I have pushed the workers to the limits so I will give them a day off, it shouldn't be much longer to the other side.

Ongoing Projects:
Wall excavation- 3 Days
Child Island Docks and Shipyard- 8 Days

6 traveled NE to Southern Triangle Island, and then to the area of the Tower of the Gods.
6 traveled East to Southern Fairy Island, and then to Ice Ring Isle.
6 traveled SE to Two Eye Reef, and then to Crescent Moon Island.
7 traveled South to Northern Fairy Island, and then to Spectacle Island.

Stats
Minutes of the Semi-Daily Elector Elective Meeting Diplomatic Attendance of the Tower #17001
Present: L.f.L. Gohdan, El. D. Nut, El. K. Roc, El. B. Mos, El. El. B. Chu, El. B. Octo
Sadly Missed: El. K. Roc, El. El. B. Chu, and El. B. Octo

00:01: Minutes of last meeting decided as accurate by L.f.L. No disagreements.

00:06: Minute of silence for El. K. Roc, El. El. B. Chu, and El, B. Octo, whose remains were found floating in the sea, with all edible parts removed. Seagulls suggested by L.f.L. as possible reason. No disagreements.

00:07:El. B. Octo makes known his presence, and explains he can finally get into the tower thanks to the weird temporal disturbance a few days earlier, which has made every Big Octo in the sea much smaller and purple. On the plus side, they seem to have gained shells.

00:20: L.f.L. clarifies that there was a disturbance, cause unknown- however, any record of it will soon fade, as if by magic. He puts forward the motion to move on and never speak of it again. Motion carried.

00:30:El. K. Roc reports back on the scouts- they have found no inhabited islands yet, having only flown out 1 [OOC: Whatever the unit is of 1 map segment width] and have found thus far no inhabited islands. They have flown back, tired. It seems only 1 [OOC: Whatever the unit is of 1 map segment width] can be flown without returning to roost. They have brought back 1500 Kargarocs with them, who saw the opportunity to get regularly fed and not accosted by people wearing odd green clothing quite so much and decided to join them. Suggestion was raised that a permanent Kargaroc roost be built on one of the small islands surrounding the Tower. El. D. Nut counters with the fact that the boat still needs 4 days before it becomes sea ready, and roost-building is imposible for the Kargarocs, as they have no skills at it, preferring to live in small nests most of the time, which take a lot of time to build. El. K. Roc. says he will get the Kargarocs working on cooperation, which should take about 8 days. After that, one roost should take about a day to build. L.f.L. approves of this discussion. Motion passed.

01:30:El. K. Roc also reports that a Bubble was found, bearing a message: "Are you friend or foe of the light? Mark your answer on the message and return it to the Bubble"- L.f.L.'s reply is as follows: "We, the great and powerful Collective of the Tower headed by the equally great and dashingly handsome Gohdan, who looks not a thousand years old if he's a decade, declare no enmity to those of the so-called light or the so-called dark. Once some of us held allegiance to the dark- now we serve allegiance to the Tower of the God(esse)s. We all ultimately serve the Goddesses, whatever their form. Therefore, elaborate more, dear correspondent, on who you are and then we the Collective, might be able to talk more. Pray, come visit us at some coveniant hour.

At the moment, you must remember, we do not recognise a state of war on the Sea.

Signed: Leader for Life Gohdan and the Electors of Internal Committees, headed by Elector Darknut." All agree on the contents of the letter and that L.f.L. is dashingly handsome.

02:00: El. D. Nut states intention to continue B. Octo general guarding of undersea territories.

02:10: El. El. B. Chu reports that the command melody has been found, but no way of following it and therefore unlocking some secret of the Tower can be found. All Chus are now working on learning to vibrate body to form notes- this will no doubt form a key step- this will take 12 days.

02:30: El. D. Nut states that the Darknut Internal Affairs committee has neared completion of the Creaking Hull- it will take 4 days to complete.

02:35: Meeting declared at an end. All Els. leave.

==Resolutions==
  • Kargarocs to learn how to build massive roosts- collaboration. [8 days]
  • All Electric Blue Chus to work on using their bodies to produce sound through vibration [12 days]
  • Octos guarding all waters of the Tower.
  • Darknuts to work on restoring the Creaking Hull to fully working order. [4 days]

The Eternal Servants of the Great Zant

Zant's Log: Ah, it is good to be in command of an army. I have found an island that would make a suitable base, and me and the army have moved into the mountain. Unfortunately, the Inquisitor has also moved in. Though he has good leadership abilities, and he makes my underlings think before they try to overthrow me, he's a bit.... strange. Nobody he's ever executed was ever proven to be guilty, he just kills them. I fear for the welfare of my army. However, it is good to know that if he tries anything, I could crush him within an instant. The majority of the soldiers hate him. None of them wouldn't think twice about slitting his throat while he's asleep. I too have considered murdering him, but have decided to keep him alive for use as a diplomat, if there ever is a chance someone could be plotting against me, his command skills, and for food.

It would appear that the island we are in is a volcano. However, it is safe to go through the crater and inside the mountain. It could erupt, but that's a chance we'll have to take. Unfortunately, that appears to be the only way inside. I've ordered my men to create a more accessible entrance to the base. After that I will discuss defenses with the Inquisitor. This rock isn't exactly a defensive paradise. As for supplies, this island doesn't have much. We can get food simply by fishing, but as for resources to build defensive structures, there's nothing at all. We're going to have to send out our Kargarocs to look for an island with Resources. I'll send half of them to scout around the sea to look for resources.

Live Action
A bokoblin stood on top of the mountain, next to a Darknut with it's blade dangerously close to it.

"Before we begin," said a dark figure below the Bokoblin,
"Do you have anything to say for yourself, traitor?"

"Yes, as a matter of fact I do." The Bokoblin said, with fear in his voice.
"I did not do anyt-" He tried to say more, but it's hard to say things when your head's been cut off.

"Let this be a lesson to all of you," The Inquisitor said.
"I will not tolerate people even thinking of betraying our Lord and Master."

"That's enough, Inquisitor." Said a voice coming from behind him.

It was Zant. The only man the Inquisitor isn't paranoid about. He had served Zant for as long as he could remember, and had become very paranoid about who could be plotting against Zant over the years. It could be said that it had driven him mad.

"I don't want you killing my entire army before we even get a chance to fight anyone." He said, annoyed.

"But Master, this Bokoblin could have been plotting to kill you." Kalthos replied.

"Could have, Kalthos. But highly unlikely, like most victims of your executions." Zant said, thinking if he should kill Kalthos for all the lives the madman had pointlessly taken.

"Now, next time you have proof that someone is going to try to kill me, feel free to lop his head off. But if you're going to kill innocent soldiers, then the same is going to happen to you. Got it?"

"As your Inquisitor, I am obligated to prevent any possible conspiracy against you. So I'm only doing this for your safety, Master."

"Well, what's done can't be undone. Now come, I have things to discuss with you." The two then entered the mountain, discussing in private their plans.

Projects: Make a more acessible but safe entrance to the mountain. (1 week)

General: Village Chief Agronak Ka'Malog
General: Warlord Shakh Ra'Magar

LOG: Chief Agronak Ka'Malog

Shakh Ra'Magar came to me with good news, the digger have broken through the wall! We are preparing to move into the larger island at this moment. The small entrance is large enough to bring in basic supplies but will be easily defended. A gate is being built to control traffic. Builders have already started working on our new city. Foundations for the great town hall and basic governmental and societal structures are being laid. The basic buildings will be complete in around 21 days if there are no delays. This natural wall will be perfect for protection, and there is even room for another inner wall! Builders are also being sent to work on the rock wall so that it may be more easily patrolled. Towers will be built in the inner side of the wall so that archers can do basic patrol routes. A more permanent outer defense will be built later.

LOG: Warlord Shakh Ra'Magar

Chief Agronak Ka'Malog has rewarded me and the workers with the completion of the excavation with a few days off. At last our presence on this island will be solidified. My beating heart pounds proudly as I watch the first foundations be laid. It is a great day for our people indeed. The son of the late Elder may be a competent leader yet...

NEW PROJECTS:
Build basic city foundations- 21 days

Windfall Night Watch

Live Action

Al burst into the Watch House, laughing maniacally after returning from his meeting with Lord Riesling. “It’s all over!” he called out, spreading his arms. “The Watch is dying! Gather your effects, we’ll be out of a job within the week!”

Bill and Fiddler looked at each other nervously.

“Um... Sir? What—” Bill started to say, but Al had entered his office and closed the door.

Recruitment. Ha! Al still had the scar from the last time he tried to convince people to join the Watch. And now someone wished to join the Watch? Impossible! This was certainly a ploy to disband it.

He sat down at his desk and took a bottle of green liquid out of a drawer. There was always a bottle of Great Fairy in the drawer, as far as Al knew. It was there when he joined the Watch, and it was said that it was there when his own first Captain of the Night Watch had joined. And yet, nobody ever seemed to buy more, or refill it. It was simply always full whenever Al took it out.

He considered that for a moment. Either this was a running joke on the Captain that, for some reason, he was never made aware of even when he wasn’t even close to becoming Captain, or someone habitually broke into his office. Well, okay, it was rather difficult to “break” into it due to there being no locks, but Al always considered those to be only for honest people anyway. And whoever refilled the bottle was certainly not a person to whom locks would be anything other than something to open.

Oh, well, he thought, and drank.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Sir? Wake up.”

“Guh?” said Al.

“Mr. Seehara. He’s here.”

“Buh,” said Al.

Light.... Bright.... Red.... Must be morning.... Don’t want to... open eyes.... Head hurts.... Smells.... Uh... what’s this... sludgy... stuff... on face?

Slowly, Al opened his eyes and pushed himself into an upright position, only to have his hand slip and cause his face to return to the desk, quite sharply. He tried again, this time succeeding in attaining an upright position. Two identical, blurry figures stood in front of him. Both looked familiar. To his right, outside the window, the sun was rising above the roof of the adjacent building.

...Something was wrong about that last part.

He could see the street outside his left window. Somewhere between to his left and straight forward was an intersection.

He turned his attention back to the figures in front of him. Blinked, rubbed his eyes, then blinked again. Fiddler was standing in front of him.

“Huh?”

“Guyperson Genericname is here, Sir.”

“Who?”

“He says he’s joining the Watch, Sir.”

“Nobody joins the—” Al muttered, then froze. This is the Watch House, he thought. The street’s to my left. Northwest corner. It’s morning. The sun can’t be over there. That’s the wrong side.

He remembered the previous night. The Supreme Commander said that someone wished to join the Watch. He then went back to his office, and then....

Al looked at the bottle on his desk. It was half-full. Much of the rest of the surface of the desk, as well as parts of the floor, were covered in vomit. That would explain the smell. And the sludgy stuff.

He stood up, wobbled, took a step, fell. Was caught by Fiddler. He tried again, and made it to the door.

“I need some water,” Al decided.

He managed to get down the stairs, after getting some water, cleaning his face, and putting on his armor. All with Fiddler’s help.

A man was standing there, wearing an old breastplate and helm, quite similar to the ones the Watch used. Al supposed this was Guyperson Genericname.

“Sarge’s already sworn him in,” said Fiddler.

Al nodded, and wobbled over to him. He was getting the hang of this “walking” business.

“Ready to go on patrol, Constable?”

“Yes, Sir,” he said. “I am, Sir. But, if you don’t mind my asking, Sir, are you all right to go out like that?”

“You worry about yourself. Now let’s go.”

Live Action

The small ship reached Windfall island during the darkest part of the night. It was hard to see any prominent features on the ship, save for the green sails and dark purple paint. Every now and then the moonlight would light up the figurehead of the ship, a jester head with a scarred face and an evil smile.

A lone man started walking from the shore towards the gates. He was a tall man with skinny arms, nothing too unusual. He carried himself with a jester like attitude, long strides, all of his muscles relaxed. His garb seemed to match his ship for some reason, a long purple overcoat covered up a dark green shirt and dark purple pants. His face was covered up with a large purple hat, shadows making it impossible to see anything.

The man was stopped near the gates by a soldier.

"Halt! What are you doing out at this time of night sir?"

"Who? Little ole me? Why, I'm just out for a stroll, enjoying the moonlight and the cool breeze. Speaking of, I have a question for you, chum."

"Uh, I'll try my best to answer it for you."

"Have you ever danced with the devil under the pale moonlight?"

The guard looked perplexed. "I'm sorry sir, I must not have understood you."

"Oh well, it doesn't really matter anymore," said the man drawing something from his pocket.

"I'm sorry sir, I can't be engaged in card games on my shi-", the guard stopped talking as a card flew through the air, severing the artery in his neck and sticking itself in the wall behind him. Blood was pouring from the wound, soaking the ground around his body where he fell.

"Oh dear me, I didn't mean to cut you off old chum. Get it? Oh my humor is wasted on you, what do you know," the man said. "Dear me, this blood will be a utter pain to get out. Ah well, time to find that wretched Harley."

The dying guard looked up and managed to catch a glimpse of his killers face. It was incredibly pale and scarred, with what appeared to be a large red smile on his face. The clouds overhead passed and the night was bright again. The card that was stuck in the wall could clearly be seen as a joker card.

The man strolled into town, his green hair whipping about his face as he laughed into the night air.

Being from the Private Diary of Elector Darknut LXVI:

My valued comrades have completed the repairs on the Creaking Hull. It's now seaworthy, and will not sink with the speed and efficiency that it was so good at previously. I salute my equals with the hard work they have put in- I look forward to the next collective meeting when I can report this with much enthusiasm.

Gohdan worries me. He is representative of Our Ladies, the soul of this, their final monument, but he ages. He ages, and it shows on him, in his, in his once brilliant strategic mind beginning to fray and forget. I find my self increasingly having to justify and cover for him, to that everchanging sea of faces that make up the rest of my fellow Electors. It is an open secret that Gohdan rules with a stone fist, killing those who disagree. The trick is to get round him, to pacify him- and it shoudl not be so! We could make a greater democracy without him.

But this is heresy. However much I must cover for him, it doesn't matter- he is a First Creation of the Goddesses, and I owe him service.

I look forward to meeting other denizens of the sea. Once the Kargarocs are ready to begin roost-building, they will do so, sweeping outwards, forming, in the end, a good system of communication throughout the sea. From the tone of that message received, it looks as though the ancient sides are forming again- but I have studied my history.

We must not battle, we must not ally, for the sake of it and for the sake of old honour. Because then once again, the armies, the bands of soldiers and lone angels of darkness that swell on the sea will once again fall to the old hatreds.

But if it comes to it, the Tower will fight. Not for the sake of good, or for evil- these terms are meaningless in the eyes of the Goddesses. They are everything that is, was and will be- and it is to their, our creators, our punishers, to their ends and their servitude that the Tower will dedicate itself. We will ally with whoever suits their purposes. I know this.

I have written before in this diary about the voices, their voices, our Mothers, who drive me. They led me to seek the election to this current post. They told me what I already know and clarified it: that this Tower can be made great!

For all these reasons, I WILL tolerate and aid, to all my ends, my Commander, my Leader- Gohdan.

Goodbye hence, my journal.

Army of the Dead Logs, Day 12

Stalragnos:

A few of the Bubbles reported back to day, coming from the Northeast of the island. On the message they brought, the only reply was:

"We, the great and powerful Collective of the Tower headed by the equally great and dashingly handsome Gohdan, who looks not a thousand years old if he's a decade, declare no enmity to those of the so-called light or the so-called dark.

Signed: Leader for Life Gohdan and the Electors of Internal Committees, headed by Elector Darknut."

Clear as mud, if you ask me. We're not so sure on having such neutral allies. There's no telling when they decide they don't want to work with us anymore, and turn on us.

We need allies, magicians to be more accurate, and this is the only reply we've received. It's best to just deal with what we have at the moment. This Gohdan, a Servant of the Goddesses themselves, may yet be useful. Supposedly, the Goddesses love all things, that includes the like of the Stalfos and the Poes, I'd assume. I think they'd help us in our plight. However, it's best not to be too careful. I'm sending a message back.

"Gohdan, servant of the Gods.

We apologize for earlier unclarity in the message before. The message was meant to be for all possible finders, and thus we couldn't afford to explain everything on it. I would like to meet with you, so we may discuss a possible alliance between us. I do not wish for war, and thus I think the best way to prevent it is to seek help so we can stop it.

Unfortunately, we are currently grounded at our base. We do not yet have sea-faring capabilities, and our only unit that can go safely on to the sea are the flying Red Bubbles, incapable of speech and can only relay messages. If you are capable of coming to our island, located a little southwst of your position, please come so we may speak in person. Our island is known as Headstone Island. We'd prefer if you can come at night, as we don't want to risk your safety by coming in day. Don't know who may be watching. Thank you,

Yours truly,
General Stalragnos"

That should do it. In other news, our naval yard is complete, and we've begun construction our first ship, a battleship class we're code-naming the Jalhalla, in honor of my dear partner. With the new cannon forge in construction, and the ancient weapon of the light nearly found in the temple, our quest to stop the light may begin soon.

Inter-Committee Memo Circular Situation Response Message
To All Electors:
The Semi-Daily Elector Elective Meeting Diplomatic Attendance of the Tower scheduled for today has been cancelled, due to a unilateral decision made by L.f.L. Gohdan in order to find an effective solution to a matter of foreign policy, which the Tower Constitution sets out as being his domain. If any issues are found with this, L.f.L.'s door is always open. Included is a copy of current and updated resolutions.

==Resolutions==
  • Kargarocs to split into 8 groups of 500, fly one Great Sea Mile in each compass direction, and when an island is encountered begin to build a Kargaroc Rest Roost.
  • All Electric Blue Chus to work on using their bodies to produce sound through vibration [4 days]
  • Octos guarding all waters of the Tower.
  • Elector Darknut and 40 Darknuts to travel to Headstone Island. Should take a day per Great Sea Mile, so it will take 3 days. [3 days]

PRIVATE: Gohdan's Memodate Monograph Dictation:

"I, Gohdan, am making this memograph, dictated to a trusted Chu, on today. I have decided, upon receipt of the message from Stralragnos, to send Elector Darknut! He listens to me, and is a good Elector. I trust him! Also, his devotion to me and the Goddesses is second-to-none. If anyone doesn't doubt me, it is he! SO: he is to set off with 40 Darknuts on the Creaking Hull, to arrive at Headstone Isle, Southwest and South of here, in three days. GOOD. He is ALSO sending BACK that Bubble, which moves FASTER (we must have a better boat! I WILL REMEMBER THIS!) than the ship, with a message of short acceptence: "We are coming, in three days we will arrive." OK! This is settled!

ALSO! The Kargarocs! Are Being SENT! To build roosts, because they need sleep, unlike an IMMORTAL STATUE such as myself! Weaklings! They are to split into 8 groups of 500, fly one Great Sea Mile in each compass direction, and when an island is encountered begin to build a Kargaroc Rest Roost.

OBVIOUSLY, if some islands have limited space, they will build a smaller roost. Additionally, if they encounter an intelligent creature, they will deliver this message: "Hello. We are Kargarocs of the Tower, to the East. We require only to build a small roost, in order to rest here for the night." This message was NOT WRITTEN! By me, but by Elector Darknut, who I WILL confess can COMMUNICATE clear ideas better to the terminally SLOW!

If the Kargarocs are rejected, they will not fight but return instead.

RIGHT! This Memograph session is OVER!"

Army of the Dead Logs, Day 16

Jalhalla:

All goes swimmingly. The Jalhalla, my own personal flagship, is almost complete. With it, we may soon be able to cross the open ocean, and deliever our darkness throughout the land. The power of the light is coming to an end, and the shadows will be there to take its place!

In other news, we also have found the item that shines the light! Well, almost anyway. We have found a secret room on a far side of the temple, and we've found enough evidence that the item may very well be in there. The door is locked shut, but in a matter of hours our Stalfos will have busted it down. I can't wait to see what tool awaits my army on the other side.

As for our search for allies, we've received a letter from Gohdan, the servant of the gods. He's agreed to a meeting between our two forces, planning to arrive in three days time. Considering that it takes roughly a day for our Bubble to travel back from there, he'll be here in a manner of two days at this point. He doesn't plan to come in person, but is planning to send what sounds like his right hand man, the Elector Darknut. We'll prepare for his arrival. I think he's planning to come at night as planned. Should worse come to worse, that could give us a serious advantage. The Gods may very well look down on the denizens of the dark, like us. Din may be an exception. After all, long ago it was none other the Great King of Evil who wielded her power, and thus she may take a liking to us. But there are many more Gods that would like to see us wiped off the face of the Great Sea. Should their servants feel the same....well, let's just say nearly 18000 beats a mere 40. And at night, the Dark Chu-chus and the Poes are invincible, unless this Darknut is somehow capable of conjuring light on a whim. Gods are known to do that. Even then, there's plenty of creatures in this temple that don't fear the light.

Stalragnos has always been the better negotiator, and thus I'll leave it to him to talk to our guest. We shall see what he feels about our cause.

Changed name of generals....because.

The Mos-Les Tribe Day 16
Mother & Child Isles

General: Village Chief Agronak Ka'Malog
General: Warlord Shakh Ra'Magar

Logs: Chief Ka'Malog

The shipyard is at last complete! Workers are now working to start our naval presence. A simple fishing boat is not sufficient in this war-torn time. The first of our navy will be christened "The Elder" in honor of my late father. It will be the first of many. The city is getting along well too, once we get the foundation down we can work on more specific needs and better defenses. The luxury of this island fortress allows us to not worry about defenses too much but it can still be improved. Patrols are starting on the rock wall now but the lack of light will hinder efficiency. A lighthouse and searchlights are being worked on now.

NEW PROJECTS:
Construct War Vessel: The Elder - 8 days
Constuct Lighthouse + Searchlights - 7 days

UPDATE
ON BUBBLE'S POSITION:
The Red Bubbles traveled north of Headstone Island to Shark Island,
then split up into the eight directions,
7 traveled North to Tingle Island, and then to Spectacle Island.
6 traveled NE to Fire Mountain, and then stopped.
6 traveled East to Forest Haven, and then to Cliff Plateau Isles.
6 traveled SE to Two-Eye Reef, and then stopped.
7 traveled Headstone Island, and then stopped.
6 traveled SW to Outset Island, and then stopped.
6 traveled West to Diamond Steppe Island, and then stopped.
6 traveled NW to Three-Eye Reef, and then stopped.

If they seen anyone, they will attempt to approach, and if meet with
hostility, they choose to run back to Headstone Island. If not, they
drop off the message:
"Are you friend or foe of the light? Mark your answer on the message
and return it to the Bubble"

EDIT: Sorry, this list was made based on the thought that if you went to one side of the map and crossed it, you'd be on the other side of the map. Well, I recently found out it doesn't work like that. Thus I had to edit the list a bit.

Live Action

The strange man walked into a dirty tavern, one barely fit for the numerous rats that called it home. He skipped up to the owner, drawing curious gazes from the patrons.

"Good evening local tavern owner! I am in desperate need of a room for an indefinite amount of time. Would I be so lucky as to get one in this fine establishment?" he gleefully inquired.

"You one of them weridos, boy?"

"Dear sir! Me? A weirdo? Parish the thought! I assure you, kind sir, that I am not a 'weirdo'."

The tavern owner said nothing. A drunken patron slouched over towards the tall man, and almost shoved him down.

"No way m-man. I think, youwanna know wha I thin'? I thin you ARE one o dem weridos."

"Sir! I am beginning to take offense to being called a weirdo! I can absolutely assure you that I am an honest to goodness, complete and total...psychopath!" The man went from a gleeful mood to one of complete rage and anger. He grabbed the drunkard by the throat and slammed him down on the bar.

"Oh, what's the matter chum? Do I scare you? Here! Why don't I give you something to SMILE about!" he said, drawing a long dagger from his coat. With a slow and steady hand he carved a giant gash in the man's face, from one ear to the other, leaving what appeared to be a giant, grotesque smile. The man screamed, only ripping the gash open wider.

"Alright then chumps, listen up. Joker's the name and fun's the game! I'm gonna take it upon myself to turn all of your frowns upside down! That's right kids, I'm in charge from this moment on. I know, I know, the news is exciting. One could say that it's even to die for. Say, what's this area even called?"

"Uh...i-it's c-called the Shades, sir..."

The Joker looked horribly disappointed. "Well that's not a very fun name now is it? Whatever. Get me some wood and paint, it's time to liven things up around this town."

Live Action

"There we have it... Windfall." Caspella said, starring distantly at the island from the deck of the Red Leviathan.

"Then we should go to shore and search for clues concerning the Wind Waker." Vaati said, from the back of the larger of the Gyorg Pair.

"This vessel can't be seen near that island. It's not possible for me to make it over there in this without being sunk." Caspella reminded Vaati.

"Then you will just have to suffer a ride on one of the Gyorgs now won't you? When we get to the island, both of us are going to have to avoid contact with people as much a possible. You're a wanted criminal and I don't have your everyday complexion. We search from the shadows..." Vaati explained.

"Why do I need to go ashore at all? I don't know what to look for." Caspella asked.

"If both of us separate on the island, and one of us is caught, it provides a distraction for the other." Vaati explained.

"You mean, I could be a distraction for you. No, I'm not going to do it Vaati. It's not worth it." Caspella said.

Vaati floated over to Caspella and put the Gale Blade to her throat. "Do not forget, my friend, you may have freed me... But I am your master. Do as I say or I will kill you when my time comes."

Caspella looked supsiciously at Vaati but un-happily complied with the order. The two made it closer to shore on the Gyorg Pair and went on the side of the beach. The beach was suprisingly clear and they made it ashore with no problems.

"I'm going to pick up some ammunition at that Bomb Shop. You look for your clues." Caspella said, making her way up the hill.

Vaati put some of his hair in front of his face to try and veil it. He then began to make his way into town...

Army of the Dead Logs, Day 21

Stalragnos:

With the Jalhalla nearly completed, we'll soon be able to go across the sea. But first, there are some more attending matters.

We've broken down the door to the room where the weapon lies. It is ours, now. To be honest, upon seeing it, I was a little dissappointed. It was merely a shield, a shield that was so shiny and clean, I could see my face reflected off of it, clear as day. It was like a mirror. I could see how one would use it to reflect light off of it, but it's certainly less spectacular than I imagined. However, there may be more to this little trinket than meets the eye. We'll spare it for now, and let the ghost king Jalhalla take a look at it.

We're building defenses in the second room, just in case. Things may not go so well with this upcoming meeting today. I'm weary of this Gohdan, and I'm not sure how dangerous his Elector is. However, we'll show no hostilities unless they give reason to. They're a bit late, but I'm sure they'll be here soon. The sun is beginning to fall, and I'd love for it to stay that way for the course of this meeting. The Bubbles are starting to return, so this must've been the only possible ally they found. Beggars can't be choosers, I guess. We'll see how this Elector is soon enough.

“Genericname, eh?” said Al. “Any relation to the weapon maker?”

Constable Genericname nodded. “My granduncle.”

“Don’t suppose he’ll give us a discount, will he?”

“No, I don’t believe so.”

“Stingy bastard.”

They turned onto Sunspear Lane.

“Shouldn’t I have gotten a bell, Sir?” said Constable Genericname, as if just remembering it.

Al scoffed. “Why’d you want a bell? To ring it every five minutes and shout ‘Two o’ the clock, and all’s well’ like a half-wit? You’re gonna make a lot of people mighty pissed off at you. Pissed ones especially, ‘less they’re so pissed they’re lying in the gutters. See this ear? Notice how half of it’s gone? That’s why I banned the bells.”

“But, then,” said Guyperson, “what do you do if all’s not well?”

“You find another street.”

“What about stopping the criminal?”

“Stopping? Think that four people can do anything worth doing? All they’d accomplish is dying.”

“Four...?”

“Yeah. You’ve seen all of us today. You see a problem, you run after the guy. But you don’t catch him. You run too fast, and you’re dead! We just buried an old friend a week ago who made that mistake. I don’t need you to make my life more difficult as well.”

Al gestured to the lighthouse as they passed it.

“Know why it’s always off? ‘Cause we’re charged with keeping it on. And we don’t have the men for even that. I can’t afford to lose people all the time due to stupidity.

“I just refused an offer from Riesling to use his troops. I don’t have the resources to teach a bunch of idiots to think. They were trained to take orders, and not question them. Doesn’t work in the Watch. I need people who can think. Not people who’ll go into the Shades.”

“The Shades?”

“You new to Windfall, or something?”

“I just came from Outset a couple of days ago,” Constable Genericname said.

“That’d do it, then. Suffice to say that you should only go in there if you’ve a strong desire to die.”

“Then why doesn’t—”

“Tried. Big army. Only caused a dead government.”

“That’s....”

“That’s Windfall,” concluded Al.

“Sir!” Fiddler’s voice sounded behind them.

Al stopped and turned around. “What is it?”

“A corpse that concerns us.”

Al swallowed nervously. “Concerns us...?”

“Oh, it’s not Bill. No worries there. No, it’s the guy who told me who shot Gareth.”

“What? Where? Take me there!”

“It’s near the Shades,” said Fiddler. Then added, “I think this just got bigger.”

“It’s done, Boss,” said Jean Valjean, sitting down across from Victor Hugo.

“Everything?”

“Yes. The traitor’s dead, and I made the message quite plain to those who know us. They’ll realize that the Organization killed the one who sold it out. The Watch will probably not even notice it, though.”

“Excellent.”

Victor called over a waiter, and the two ordered.

“So, once we’ve killed everyone in the Night Watch,” said Jean, “what then?”

“They’ll invade the Shades. We see a repeat of last time, except that we don’t stop. We simply take over.”

“Why not just take out the rulers and be done with it?”

“Not enough of us. Most people in the Shades require a reason to attack the outside. As it stands, we don’t attack them and they don’t attack us, unless that agreement is breached.”

“Ah. Now it—”

“Boss!”

“I believe I asked to not be disturbed,” said Victor.

“It’s urgent,” said the guard. “Some joker’s decided that he owns the Shades.”

“Ah. Well, in that case, double the pay of everyone in my employ. I will have to pay him a visit. Jean, stand by. I may have ‘work’ for you to do.”

“Got it, Boss.”

The As Yet Unnamed Army
Generals:
Vaegard, Helmaroc King, Argillac Riesling
Bases: Auction House

Vaegard's Log, Day 30
A plague of ninja is upon us, it seems. Argillac's kinsmen have arrived in vast numbers. The Sheikah now make up roughly two thirds of my army, and for every Sheikah soldier, there are two civilians. The city barely accommodate all of them as things are now, and if more come, we will have no room for them at all, unless they're willing to try living in the Shades. I've given the order for plans to be drawn up for another wall around the city. It'll reduce the crowding, give them somewhere to live, and give us another line of defense. The plans should be ready in a few days.

Argillac's Log, Day 30
The gods have smiled upon us, it seems. My tribesmen have begun arriving by the thousands, with many more yet to come, and the Church itself has pledged to aid us as well, as it did so long ago when my noble ancestors Adlon and Vorsec waged their war against Hyrule. Soon, my people and the Church shall once again be united beneath a single banner. The Order of the Black Dragon will at last be born again, and we shall finish the work of our forebears...

Our shipyard has been completed, and I have ordered the construction of our first ship. I am told it will take four weeks to build. Though my brethren have brought ships of their own, they are far too small to be useful to us, and I have ordered them to be destroyed, and the wood to be reused in the building of our fleet. This will take twenty days.

Lastly, one of our men has been killed, by some sort of playing card. I've sent word to both the Day Watch and the Night Watch, and I've ordered a portion of my soldiers to look into this. The card itself has been sent to Master Beyard. If it can be duplicated, it may prove a useful weapon for our assassins.
-End Log-

Beyard's Log, Day 30
The Skulltula research is finished. I have reported their effectiveness to Lord Vaegard, and he has ordered me to breed more of them. We believe sixteen days will be sufficient. I've also received a playing card from Lord Argillac, with orders to examine it and try to duplicate it. I believe eight days should be more than sufficient to do so.
-End Log-

Dragmo's Log Day 11

Alas, these past several days have not been kind. I have been working none stop organizing and assisting with current projects. The removal of the stone is coming along nicely, in a few more days the stone should be moved, and my troops will finally be able to breath fresh air at last, oh how I long to spread my wings and fly in the majestic sky...but enough of this, everything else is going according to plan, the armour restoration effort is proceeding nicely, the increacsed armour capability will prove most useful for close range combat, as well as protecting from some arrows. Not only is that going well, but my troops are seeing great devolpments with the new weapons research they are doing, the swords and axes are looking execptionally well. Having a diverse and balenced army will not only give us an advantage on the battlefield, but an element of saftety in the fact that we are prepared to take on any adversary.

The past few days have brought on more then just project devolpments, they have also allowed new troops to join our ranks, over the past few days, we had 1,000 Karagorocs join our ranks along with 1,000 wizdrobes. All these karkagorocs will prove extrememly useful for relaying messages with any other possible armies out there, and the wizdrobes provide their powerful magics and teleportaion skills.

End Log

Projects:

Remove Stone-7/17
Restore Armor-7/12
Create New Weapons(Swords/Axes)-7/15

The Deku Tree paused, reading the message the Red Bubble gave him for reading, he wrote down the simple answer. "So too as the light itself sways between shades of bright and dim, so too will our allegiance to it change as well." Giving it back to the Bubble, he watched as it flew off, back towards whatever locale it came from...

Floris Silvae Portis: LOGS

Day 13 (52 In-Game)

Makar
This has gotten serious. Linebeck is absolutely nowhere to be found in the Forbidden Forest. The squads I sent to each room have turned up nothing. This is bad. If the Deku Tree's prophecy is correct, then all may be lost. We must recover Linebeck if we want to have a chance. (If this prophecy is even correct. But that's another matter.) There's only one chamber left, and I don't dare send any men. Not after what happened the last time a Korok went in there...

Anyways, we've been very busy. Our Steam Power Engines are completed on research. The technology Linebeck had in his ship...it's absolutely astonishing. In my next log, I'll be sure to detail out the exact information and schematics surrounding it. We've got a shipyard, and are now right back on course with the repairs on Linebeck's Ship. Things look up for us. Soon the Koroks will return. They'll have fully mapped out each island in the Great Sea. Now if we can just get Linebeck back...I wonder what's happened? I guess it's like they say...be careful what you wish for.

[b]The Mos-Les[/]b] Tribe Day 24
Mother & Child Isles

General: Village Chief Agronak Ka'Malog
General: Warlord Shakh Ra'Magar

LOGS: Chief Ka'Malog
Our navy has been born at last! The Elder has been launched and now embodies our whole naval presence. It is still poorly armed, however, and is mostly a transport vessel. Once the city is complete we can build armories that will better arm our ships. A second is to be built, The Skullbreaker and more after that.

It will be less than a week until the city foundation is laid then we can concentrate on more specific needs.

LOGS: Lord Ra'Magar
All of these palisades and unfinished structures....Why must it take so long to build them? We must push forward, we must advance in our technology! However, we cannot develop such knowledge if we cannot even build a simple city. Time however, is on our side. This natural wall is very beneficial to us. Without it then we would have even more pressing needs than our primitive machines.

The lighthouse has been completed along with searchlights among the walls. I have given the order not to light them yet so that we do not attract attention we do not yet need. The time will come when our civilization fears none, but for now we will be masked in the veil of obscurity...

NEW PROJECTS:
Build Battleship The Skullbreaker- 10 days

LIVE ACTION

*Taa-taraa*

Elector Darknut stepped down the gangplank onto the shore of Headstone Isle. He turned to address the 40 Darknuts that had accompanied him.

"We have arrived, here on the Isle of one Stalragnos and his fellow comrades-in-arms! Though we were delayed, by various events far too long, boring and inconsequential to relate now, and indeed you know them already, we have arrived! Now, let us go meet the welcome party, if the Goddesses have been so kind as to inspire one."

[OOC: Sorry masterryan, but a final exam came up for tomorrow. And so I've spent the weekend frantically revising, instead of GSW'ing. I'll do a log post about events in the tower after Elector Darknut has returned]

The Goron Trader's Conglomerate

Nadada Log: Our houses, Towers, and shipyard are all complete, leaving us with a decent setup here on Greatfish Isle. I have not written in this log for quite some time, as I ran out of ink for my pen, and I had no desire to write with my blood. Until yesterday, when one of our traders found a flower that some very interesting purple ink can be made from. Yet another item to trade when we are out of this mess! The signal fire has been lit, and all nearby should know our location. Some of our workers have begun work piecing together pieces of destroyed hull, rigging, and sails, to make 15 small patrol boats. They should be done within 20 days.

Dalnor Log: Gorons continue to wash up on shore, and I'm beginning to wonder if anyone actually died in the storm...

As we do not yet know our exact location and how it relates to our home, I have had my men begin construction on a giant telescope, made from a hollowed tree trunk and glass from our shipwrecks. it should be done the day after tomorrow. My men are also manning the watch towers, in case pirates should catch notice of the fire.

OOC Stuff:

Who This log applies to(new section that I think would help a lot if everyone used it): me, anyone near Greatfish Isle

Army of the Dead logs, Day 29

Live Action:

(A Floor Master comes out from the entrance of the cave leading down into the temple. The hand springs forward out of the vortex, and throws a small paper airplane reading:

"Follow me. General Stalragnos awaits your attendance"

The Floor Master then goes back into its vortex, leading the Darknuts into the Earth Temple, to the room where Stalragnos has been patiently waiting in")

Leo's logbook: Entry 2

We are on the way to the next island now. The locals were friendly... that's good. There is obviously some strange magic in the trees there, if they can produce leaves like this. It doesn't even look organic. And it changes size by itself. Quite strange... although I have seen stranger things. Again, I left after dark. Dragons tend to shake positive relations, from my experience, and the last thing I need is word spreading about this.
I can see the next island ahead... I think. I say "I think" because I have never seen an island quite like this one before. It's shaped like... a bomb? Is this natural? Surely there was some outside force involved in the formation of this island. Is it actually an island? Something is not right here... but we have come here, and we cannot go any further today. We will stay here for tonight, regardless of unease... I must simply hope that there is nothing malicious on this strange rock...

Update: Location change - Forest Haven -> Bomb Island

The Eternal Servants of the Great Zant

Zant's Log: A letter came the other day. Apparently from what appeared to be a bubble. But let's open it up, shall we? It would appear that it's something about being a friend or foe of the light, and then returning the message to the bubble. I wrote a reply and gave it to the bubble before it could leave. I thought hard about what I would answer. You know, with all the good things the forces light have done for me like: Dethroning me from my throne of Twilight, stopping me from spreading the twilight to Hyrule, and killing my Master, inadvertantly killing me. Suprisingly, I decided to say foe of the light, even though it has done so many good things to help me out.

Our more accessible passage into the mountain has been made. Luckily, it's been made well. I've gotten an idea from the passage. Perhaps we can find other somewhat stable parts of the mountain to mine into. Then we can make more weapons, fortifications, and such. Speaking of which, the Kargaroc scouts I sent out returned a long time ago. They have found some uninhabited islands nearby that would be useful for gathering wood. If we can get some of them to carry some of our soldiers to cut down trees and such, and then have groups of the kargarocs carry the trees to our Mountain, then our problem will be solved. Yes, I believe that will work.

Projects: Mine for metals (Ongoing)
Send Kargarocs and some Bokoblins to gather wood in nearby islands (Ongoing)

Letters:
Dear whoever sent this courier,
Foe.
From, Zant

Linebeck Live Action
Linebeck paced back and forth. Pausing occasionally to stare at the great locked door that lay before him. Having come to a successful conclusion that Koroks did not act as great locks after 20 separate tests, he had become stumped on how to pass through this test. A strange object on the ground had puzzled him. It was a key-shaped object with an eye in the middle of the handle. Perhaps a clue to the location of the item that could open the door? In frustration, Linebeck kicked the object. It bounced off the wall, sliding on the ground towards Linebeck’s guards. The Korok’s eyes fell on the object as it skidded towards them, and as it stopped, they turned to Linebeck. “Ok, troops! Let’s march boldly forward! Now, who wants to be the first one through?” They glared. “Uh-oh…” Linebeck thought, as the Korok’s advanced.

Inside the room, all was silent. The entire room was as quiet as could be…or at least it was until the girlish screaming from the other side of the great door pierced the silence. The doors opened. A badly beaten Linebeck was chucked through the door, landing with a ‘THUD’ on the ground. Brushing himself off, and nursing his bruised body, he realized the door had locked behind him. What had no doubt clued his keen intellect in was the heavy iron bars that slammed down, blocking all entry in. He knocked on it, shouting “Hello?!” “Sir Linebeck, are you OK?” “Yeah. You pups OK? ““Yes.” “What happened?” “You tripped.” …Ah, now I remember. Any chance of you getting me out?””No.””Why?””Laziness.” Linebeck turned. He would have to find another way out of the room. Hand tight on his sword, he paused, and studied the giant room. It was fairly dim, with little light. Linebeck studied the floor. An ornate blue panel edged the entire floor, in a flowerlike pattern. Linebeck ran forward, and stepped on the flower. It twitched. Linebeck stepped again. It twitched. “Ah, this must be some sort of magic panel floor. There’s probably a secret code that’ll open the door. At least, according to the Green Monkey.” He thought to himself. Leaping full on the panel, he began to dance. Dance like a madman. His euphoria was short-lived when he realized just how much the flower-like panel looked, felt, and smelt like a flower. Quickly the flower closed up around him, chewed on him, and spit him out back onto the ground!

The flower extended several tentacles towards the ground, using several more to anchor itself to the ceiling. Using the tentacles on the ground as feet, it moved closer to Linebeck, who found himself pinned up against the door. Knocking loudly against, he heard no response. His guard, brave souls must’ve run to get help! Now he just had to survive…if he could. The creature closed in, and Linebeck knew it was his only chance. He had to do what he did best. He readied himself into position…and threw himself on his knees and began to scream. “MERCY!” Linebeck screamed. “I’m the guardian of a chil-er, well, I have a child frie-er, I helped a kid save the world once! Please don’t eat me?” “Oh, shut up. I swear, why is it that the only meat that ever comes down here either is stupid, ends up escaping, or begs for their lives? I’m going to make this quick. The ones who beg invariably turn out to be the tastiest. Linebeck heard a noise that sounded sickeningly like slobbering. “Now, hold still. Try not to bleed until your bones have cracked. This will hardly be painful. Well, for myself, at least. I’m going to enjoy the taste of fresh meat…” the plant said, raising a tentacle up in preparation. The tentacle shot down like thunder; about to pierce the flesh of its victim…it never happened.

Linebeck had brought down his sword, and used it to parry the swinging tentacle. A second swing made quick work of that tentacle, which writhed around on the ground. “Ehh? What is this ? A coward, and yet a fighter? I have no idea what you’ll taste like.” “I recommend you shut up, if you wish to keep every inch of your form intact. Or would you rather the ground become soaked with whatever fluids you keep inside?” “Such insolence…will you keep it up when I have severed your arms?” “Or rather, will you keep your arms if I sever your insolence?” Linebeck retorted, before swinging his sword at another tentacle, lopping it off. The plant squealed with horrendous pain. It had only felt like this once before. “What in the hell are you? You’re…completely different from that man before. I see absolutely no fear in your eyes. You’re a loony . “Hmm? This is how I’ve always been.” “What? But that’s…oh. I see what this is.” The plant raised a tentacle, and pointed it at Linebeck. “You’ve a split personality. Seems to me one of your sides is incompetent and a coward, while you…are the part that has all his good qualities. But your eyes…are evil. They seem tainted. Black as coal. As a matter of fact…you were once possessed, weren’t you?” “Hmm? What do you mean?” “I mean your eyes. The tainted blackness in them is a sure sign that you’ve been possessed. Do you have any memory of it?” “No, unless you c-Bellum.” “Bellum?!” “You know of him?” “Bellum is that which all creatures, even those of darkness are to fear. His powers were terrifying…before he was killed. It seems to me that the possession might’ve forced out both parts of your whole into halves. One light…” “And one dark.” Linebeck said, before looking at his hand, rather bemused by the whole thing.” “Then I guess there’s only one thing to do left. How may I serve you…master?” The plant said, tentacles lowering as if in a bow of subservience. “ Please…Linebeck said. I am not that puny coward, though I suspect to keep up appearances I shall have to attempt to bring him out again. I am a new being. A new lord of a new age. A new lord of hatred and darkness. Call me…Mr. L.
