In your time here, what was the absolute best times you can remember?
For me, it was when BK was in charge back in the day of GT while having those contests. The forum was, for the most part, full of life. For me, probably Election Day, on June 29th, 2007, here at GS.
We have still never had as many users online simultaneously as on that day, in all of that time (33 people, just look at our home page and that number's still displayed there). It made GT itself, for years back, pale in comparison. And if you think of that in terms of a real life gathering, that's just huge. There was such a feeling of movement behind the wishes for who would be the admin, and who would be in the mod team. Everyone had an opinion. The most stunning thing of the whole occasion was definitely the result. Equal votes between the admins. No one expected that, to be sure. And how Tsukasa responded to it, by deciding that both would be leaders... well, it just seemed like icing on the cake. It's just too bad that two thirds of the people who voted on that day never visited regularly thereafter. I wish I felt that changing that was within my power. But the admin team and I can only do so much. We can take the horse to water (and Hell, some of us can even make it taste better), but make it drink? Way back in GT was fun, we had the numbers back then so we also had the topics and posts, I held a few good games of werewolf, and it worked, a few RPs that got quite far.
Back when I first joined I was pretty much new to the internet and I could barely spell, but I've improved so much now, this place is the main reason for that. --------------------

Back in GT, the first time Decoy was nice to me
 I remember he didn't know about me and Maxim, and he told me to grow a pair, and ask him out. When I told him we already were, he was really nice about it. "Oh, congrats guys, that's really cool!" I remember my first few weeks in here, I remember being amazed at my daring for joining a forum in another idiom, my first online friend (I just remember his name was Chris or something like that, his userpic was a blue ghost...) and learning all about new terms for me like "lol" or "spam" ..good times...
but the best part was when I was 15, I was alone in RL and thanks to this place I didn't lose my head... It's a VERY rare chance to get to see him being nice. yea I remember back when I first joined there were so many people around, the topics were fun and enjoyable and the people of course were awesome, I can't remember exactly when I joined GT......I want to say 2003 or 2004

it's really hard to say, but it was during the times of gsr and gt. the first friend i made there was reoma, he was cool back then.
but probably the first golden sun award was the best night. it was really fun and i won some awards, haha. |

I remember my first day registering at the original GT, within a few hours I was making friends with BK, Midknight, and Kenshin among others. That was when I was new to the internet, and I thought it was pretty damn cool. xD
