Alexandria wasn't the only one in the house that was up. Sitting at the table in the kitchen Seraphina, or Seraph as she preferred to be called, was working on a few of her tricks. Just a few of the small ones, nothing really big or mystifying. A deck of playing cards, a few toothpicks, and a light bulb were on the table in front of her. It was a bit obvious that Seraph was having a bit of trouble sleeping as well that night. She hadn't really been expecting company, though.
Hearing someone walk into the kitchen and grab a kettle, Seraph picked up the light bulb smirking a bit, she figured now was a perfect time to try out her trick.
"You know...Making coffee could be easier with some light."
The light bulb in her hand flickered and then started glowing as if it were in a lamp. It was enough light to give Seraph a bit of a spooky, shadowed look, before she tossed the ball out towards Alexandria. It paused in the air and just hovered there, lighting up the kitchen enough for them to see each other and to give the other woman an easier time with the coffee.
"He he...So...Can't sleep?"

Seraph laughed a bit at the reaction she saw the reaction she got from Alexandria, the chuckle sounding a bit unstable. Which was to be expected. Seraph was certainly one that most believed to be a bit on the crazy side. The only reason that she avoided being stuck in a mental institution was that her actions, strange as they may seem, never caused anyone any troubles. Nothing serious anyway. Perhaps a bit disturbing to some and insulting towards others, but then again, it was impossible for someone to not have a few people who would think things like that about them.
She just smirked a bit at her friend's comment of it being too cold. She thought it was too cold? It felt just right to Seraph, who was sitting in the kitchen in just a tank top and her pajama bottoms.
"Heh, too cold? Feels fine to me...Maybe I'm getting sick?"
Moving her hand in a circular motion, the light bub started moving, coming from where it was to hover over the center of the table, the grin still on Seraph's face as she leaned forward a bit towards Alexandria.
"Do I look flushed to you?"
Chuckling again, she sat back in her chair, picking up the deck of cards and just shuffling them as her friend asked about her magic.
"Yeah, just working on some small things...I can't think of anything new for a big trick, it's been keeping me up..."

It was strange, being the one person who could actually get some sleep that night, but Bridget had slept like a hibernating bear throughout most of the night. But she heard some people talking, and it kind of woke her up. The pink-haired girl sat up in her bed, looking around her darkened room with posters of indie bands decorating the walls, and a stack of music CDs and concert DVDs near the foot of her bed. Rubbing the sleep out of her eyes and putting on some slippers, she walked downstairs lazily.
Given Bridget's personality, she was the last person to be acting tired and sleepy. It was almost in her blood to be partying until three in the morning, having more energy than a power plant and doing the things no one else would dare to do. She had gotten more than her fair share of detention, and even had to spend a night or two in prison. But those times weren't her fault. Just some bad luck that was pushed her way. She wasn't the type to use hallucinogenic drugs. Just the type to be partying too loudly and disturb the neighbors, but certainly nothing else. Like she had said, having a wild side, living on the edge, was in her blood.
Perhaps it was not in her blood per se, as her parents were quite stiff and unwavering in their beliefs. Which is probably why they felt disgusted to realize their daughter was a proud, open homosexual. They could do nothing about this, though. If they could not accept her for who she was, then that was their problem.
At least when she came to this college, she got some housemates that were pretty decent. Aside from being overall accepting of her wild, reckless behavior that may or may not get her arrested from time to time, they were both very cute. Perhaps when the timing was right, she could reveal her sexuality to those girls, and maybe one of them wouldn't mind going out with her.
As she reached the foot of the stairs, she saw Alex starting up the 360, and Serafina, or Seraph, playing around with magic again. It always did amaze her as to how she could do all that. She never saw any wires or smokes and mirrors around. She must've been a real professional. Once again rubbing her eyes and yawning a bit, she spoke in a lazy monotone.
"I know it's hypocritical of me to say this, but it's a bit late, don't you think? We've got class in....what, an hour and a half?"

Seraph just chuckled again when Alexandria actually checked to see if she was flushed or had a fever. She had been joking, really. Then again, she knew it was hard to tell with her at times. But it was always a good thing to hear that she wasn't getting sick. Pulling off her tricks were just so much harder when she was sick for some reason. But, she wasn't sick now. Stopping her continuous shuffle of the deck of cards, she started building a house of cards, just frowning a bit and looking at her friend when she asked what she's done.
"Done? I've done nothing lately...Well, except beating that game last night."
She watched as Alexandria booted up Assassin's Creed and started playing. It was a great game. Awesome graphics, intriguing plot, though boring as hell once you gain the counter attack ability. And all of the information gathering missions are the same. Pickpocket this guy, beat up this guy, eavesdrop on these two and steal his map...It was still fun though. She just had to find two more Templar flags and she would have all of the achievements for the game.
When Bridget showed up, Seraph just chuckled again. Apparently no one could sleep tonight. Having finished her house of cards, she looked at it for a few seconds before pulling out a single card in the middle. Almost in a feat defying physics, the house tumbled in one, almost neck pile. Pushing the cards together she started shuffling them again as Alexandria said the time and started her dance.
"Only four? I thought it was later...But I don't know about you two, I have the day off tomorrow. The professor threw me out of class again."
Leaning the chair back on the back two legs she propped her feet up on the table and sighed. She needed a new trick...And proving her professor was wrong was only fun so many times.

Bridget sat down on the couch, watching Alex play Assassin's Creed and doing a bunch of killing. Hearing her and Seraph talk about this game so much, it seemed a little nerdy. The pink-haired girl was not as into video games as those two were. She still played some multiplayer game when people were hanging out, but she was much more casual. Her great solace was in music. The concerts filled with screaming fans, the melodic vocals, the shredding guitars, anything like that...although, she has also been interested in some slower, calmer songs. But that was a secret.
When asked for some coffee, she only weakly nodded. Eh, why not stay up a bit late? She didn't get much more sleep than this on a regular basis anyways. What difference did it make? But hearing that Seraph got in trouble for something, she perked her head up, a little curious as to how she got in trouble in the first place. That was usually what happened to her. But, who's to say she can't get in trouble? It's not like it was her title. Taking her own cup of coffee, she too inquired as to what had happened to result in a suspension.

Seraph just blinked at first, looking between her friends when they both asked why she had been suspended. They were actually interested in that? She would have thought they would just shrug and say "too bad" or something. After all, the story wasn't that great. She had basically just proved the professors wrong for the...eight time? It was the eight or ninth. Needless to say, or, well, maybe not, he was getting rather tired of her.
Maybe they just wondered what had happened because of the way she dressed and acted. They could probably get an impression she was a bit on the "bad" side because of that. Eh, if so, oh well...
"Oh, uh...I just proved the professor wrong again. Really, it's simply the First Law of Thermodynamics. His problem showed that energy was lost or destroyed, and that just doesn't happen. I fixed his equation, which solved the rest of the problem he gave us, and he ordered me out of the class..."
She sounded a bit bored as she said it, because to her it was really no big deal to her. His superiors would over-rule him again, and she would be back in class in a day or two. But not before she had a whole day off.
"But it all works out. I have all tomorrow to work on my tricks...He he...Maybe I'll make the professor's car disappear..."
Or, she could pay the girl she had been seeing a visit. With the day off tomorrow, maybe they could go on a nice date.

((There are three I can think of; the New York Academy of Art, the Columbia University of the Arts, or the Cornell University, which has both the College of Architecture, Art and Planning, or the College of Arts and Sciences (both undergraduate). Of course, you can always make one up for this RP.))
When she had learned exactly why she was suspended, Bridget felt a little short-handed. So it wasn't something devious or exciting, just proving someone wrong and said professor's embarrassment. Whenever the pink-haired rebel got in trouble, it was for either vandalization or overall rule-breaking. Well, at least Seraph would have some free time, it seemed. But to make his car disappear...well, maybe she had a more rebellious attitude than she had thought.
Downing the coffee, she felt revitalized. It endowed her with the energy necessary for another day at this fine school of hers. The music classes she took were incredible, being just perfect for her. It allowed her to learn all types of music, preparing her for whatever may come in the industry. But if the classes were great, the girls here were amazing. So many cute girls, and she knew that there must be some that would be interested in a date with her. Hell, some of them were quite open about their orientation, making teasing and seducing them that much easier. The pink-haired music afficionado was always quite the temptress, her charm netting her quite a few pretty girls in the past. But they were all small fry. While she was here, she wanted to ensnare someone who would stick for a while, an individual who would not be afraid to be with her in any way, shape or form. But the ultimate question was, who?
((Bleh.))

Seraph just nodded absently when Alexandria said she wished she went to the same college she and Bridget did. She wasn't paying that much attention, trying to think of what she was going to do with the professor's car. There were so many possibilities...Then, suddenly an idea hit her, and she just started laughing. Oh, this one was going to be a good one.
"He he he...This is going to be good...He's going to flip when he finds his car in his classroom..."
She just sat there laughing for a bit before, just as suddenly as she had started, she stopped. Looking at her two housemates she realized something. They didn't know that much about each other. Well, they were going to have to fix that. Maybe a certain game could help them...
"So...Anyone here up for a game of Truth or Dare?"
If the fact that she was acting a bit random bothered her at all, she didn't show it. Seraph just looked between her two friends, wondering if they'd be up for the game or not.
