Runescape Review

Note: You can **** all you want about me being biased against it, but I've actually played it(I know, horrible). This review will not be broken up rating every aspect, just my thoughts on it.

Background(slowly turned into review): I have had the unfortunate horror of playing Runescape. It was the big hit in my school last year, until everyone there realized it sucks. Thankfully, I was not pulled in, as my computer couldn't open it(thankfully). I thought I was missing out on something, but I wasn't. People were even giving real life money for stuff in it, which is really dumb, you know you have no life when you spend real money on bits of data. No one really gives a damn about your level 70 account, and I'm damn well not paying $20 for it. Speaking of money, though, this game has no price tag, unless you want to become a 'member', which grants you new worlds to go to(worlds are just the same exact thing, except that some will be full, so you have to go to another one(doesn't matter again, no difference)), so that's not really a plus. The other main thing you get is different items(Crystal Bow(shoots faster, I think(pfft, it's turn based))). Again, nowhere near giving $5 a month for. Speaking of the fights, horrible. Turn based, but it's way zoomed out, and the battles are just you and the enemy flinching at each other, with little numbers over your head for damage. When you start out, you'll pretty much never even be able to cause even one point, though. When I played it, it was only for a day, and the most exciting thing I got to do was chop a magically regrowing tree. Some guy started coming over and cutting it too, and I told him to get away from my tree, which of course he didn't listen to, so I got to chop even less, which was the only thing I could do, because after you died, you lose everything, so you couldn't do anything other than what the stuff is you have on you, because it's really impossible to find a store, unless you can memorize everything, so after realizing that even though that tree chopping was the most exciting thing, it wasn't the only thing I was forced to do in life, so I stopped. Greatest thing I ever did was stop.

I think i'd give it a 1.5,only beacause if they fixed the graphics a little, it could pull a 2..............ahh screw it 0/10

Why, the shaking really does nothing, and losing everything? No fun.

It isnt fun, but when you get controlled be the jagex people, they brainwash you to think its fun, and then they get cash. I was addicted, but stopped because i became lazy, and thats all id do. Havnt played in 2 years.
Honestly, anyone in a good mind wouldnt pay $5 a month for that shit....

Yeah, I know what you mean. My friend once told me of this cool game called Tibia, and was tempeted to play it, I actually kinda like it later on in the game, but them I died in a cave, after I had spent hours and hours defeating monsters,going through annoying caves and collecting gold to buy cool items and weapons, but when I died, I was just like..."Crap, oh well, Im just gonna continue from where I left off." So when I went to play it again, I had ONE lousy crappy weapon that you have automatically when you start the game and a little bit of gold, I had over around 500 gold!!! And then I only had about 10, and its really hard to get gold in that game....

So I just gave up and never played it again....

Never played any MMO, never will.

lucky, but I actually enjoyed Tibia abit. It kept me busy when I had nothing to do, but it just really sucks when you die cause you loose EVRYTHING!!!!
