N5

Does anyone know anything about the N5? I know it is to be shown at E3 in 04 or 05, but that's all I know.

If your referring to the "Nintendo 5", then I know what you're talking about. The Nintendo 5 are supposed to contain these games...

- Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
- The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker 2
- Paper Mario 2
- Fire Emblem ( GameCube )
- Resident Evil 4

They all look awesome, and I especially can't wait for Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. It look so damn cool. But, tell me if the "Nintendo 5" is what you were asking about.

Actually I heard a rumor that the "N5" is what they are going to call the next Nintendo system, but I haven't heard anything else on the matter.

Well, yeah, Nintendo did announce a new system at the E3 2004 convention- the Nintendo DS, and it looks pretty cool. But, I'd say the next Nintendo console will be announced next E3. Can't wait.

They need to stop releasing all the hand helds and release more consoles.

Well, their handhelds are awesome, but yeah, they really do need to release a new console.

Nintendo announcing next-gen console at 2005 E3

Japanese game giant is planning to unveil the GameCube's successor at next year’s E3.
TOKYO--Dispelling any lingering doubts that it is bowing out of the console race, Nintendo announced today that it will show off its unnamed, next-generation console at E3 2005. Talking to reporters at an Osaka press conference, Nintendo's Senior Managing Director Yoshihiro Mori stated, "[We] plan to unveil the next-generation console [that will be] succeeding the GameCube at next year's E3 during the spring."
